lol. If we didn't laugh, we'd be crying. Far too many of us put too much in here and are now all the poorer for it. Painful lesson indeed.
Zaza must also have close links somewhere within the Georgian Dream, as they were still in government when Zaza was able to steal Block 12. If not, then they turned a blind eye to what was happening, with some other unknown future scenario planned for Block 12. What we do know is that the GD has been aligned towards Russia with BI in control.
Uncle Sam and the EU would never advocate for government change in another country, even if that was the ulterior motive. They will use diplomacy to get the GD to oust BI and his followers and align with the West, or for GD to lose power to the pro-West opposition. As a complete about face by the GD has looked the least likely, then early elections and a pro-West opposition in power has looked like the best scenario for FRR. However, which eventual government will be best suited to a successful outcome for FRR and it's SH's is unknown to us SH's, but the current GD government with BI pulling the strings, we know is pro-Russia and detrimental to a successful outcome for FRR and it's SH's.
Freeatlast,
Now that word me laugh out loud, his popeyness ….lol..!

I know that I am very pleased that you still post on this BB & sure many others are.
Thanks
Mad punter.
The experts on regime change are in fact the UK!!! you would be surprised how often we are involved. it is too dangerous for a first tier nation such as the US to get found out but the UK although being a second tier nation on paper in fact punches way above our weight! This is a real quote from an American President to his diplomats " Keep out of it - I'll have a word with the Brits who are better at at than us" Not so sure sleepy joe has that view (does he have any?) but it certainly has been the case for many a year.
Dulwichman - Agreed. I'm only listing Uncle Sam and the EU as they're the most obvious in this instance, with regular media quotes from Kelly Degan and Charles Michel.
Short sellers are raking it in while Investors suffer in silence?
Each time a share reaches new hights the insiders sell while
talking the market up hoping newcomers will buy . LSE style.
"You have to be in it to win it." ???????? Not all Fools suffer in silence.
FRR was promoted on the LSE Board while T.W. , ADVFN Board , warned
Private Investors and was attacked.
'According to one study, the U.S. performed at least 81 overt and covert known interventions in foreign elections during the period 1946–2000.[6] Another study found that the U.S. engaged in 64 covert and six overt attempts at regime change during the Cold War.[1]' + plenty more and these are just the ones that are public knowledge. I would put nothing out of the picture when it comes to the US and foreign affairs
Lifeishard – you are doing more to effect change than a lot of people. Even if all they do is delete your message, you are making them take a decision and perform an action. As circumstances evolve, so might their actions in regard to your emails.
Keysersoze – messaging started not too long after ZM was fired.
Jv123 – I ask for info along those lines on a regular basis and will continue to do so when the opportunity presents itself. Not sure about “finger pointing” though as my email was a general reply to a few other posts.
MadP – So, ZM isnt in fact working hand-in-glove with the Opposition, flying the flag for change to bring down the GG and steer the country towards the West. He is in fact working with the GG and had the GG 'OK' to steal the company and go in a totally different direction.
That’s quite a curveball. I guess it shows how gullible the Opposition is then given they appeared with him so many times and fell for all that GG bashing? It must have been quite the faux paux for the GG to let FRC know that oil was being removed illegally. Then there is the small matter of the GG using the courts to shut down ZM and Green Capital. Long may that continue.
So ZM’s plan was to set out to publicly burn relations with the GG while secretly working with / for them to set up a mirror operation, steal the company, and then almost immediately allow the GG to appeal to the courts to stop that steal, giving public statements of support to FRC but continue to use ZM to fight and appeal that decision for the GG to this day so he can re-steal the company as per GG instructions. Wowsers.
For what’s its worth, Looed is a massive plus for us (sidelined) shareholders. Over the last few years, he has proven his genuineness, which started off with organizing the TV and press translations; he continues to be only reliable conduit between us and the company. Having said all that, I am also struggling to understand (after all this time) why the company cannot be a little more engaging with us. One way could be is via the company website; the occasional update will signal to us the lights are still on.
Also, I don’t know if the company would consider holding a one-way conference call with it’s shareholders like it did back in 2017-18? The purpose to give us an update on that ongoing legal cases and the state of operations in Georgia and Moldova.
On sending emails to Frontera, I too have given up after getting nothing. But agree with Looed that we should continue with this, just so they know we are around waiting.
So, Looed, from what I understood, the reason for your recent absence from this Board, is because ZM has switched political sides and continues to be a real threat to FRR (now siding with GG). Anyway (and sorry for asking this), I have lost track of all the legal cases especially in Georgia, and would appreciate if you could give us small bullet points of where we are. The transfer to Green Capital was cancelled, FRR’s transfer to FRUS was completed? The Texas case closed after FRR obtained a permanent injunction on ZM. Cayman Proceedings still ongoing or closed? What happened to the London YA case?
Whatever you can share, would be greatly appreciated by all FRR shareholders (thanks in advance).
Looed - I never stated that Zaza that Zaza has switched sides or that he was aligned with the opposition. Plus, I don't really care whose side he's now on, as he's no longer on the board and just a shareholder like us, but with a sizeable chunk of shares. Furthermore, there's also the possibility that he may lose the shares if FRR take him to court.
I stated that Zaza must have some friends in the GD to be able to steal Block 12 and to register it in what appeared to be record time. Furthermore, when Zaza was at loggerheads with the GG, the GG were trying to take all of Block 12 through a technical breach of the PSA. It's possible that both Zaza and SN have tried to work with both sides in Georgia. What we do know is that the GD with BI pulling the strings have not helped expediate the exploration and development of Block 12. Hence, the opposition has looked like being more favourable to a successful outcome for FRR.
Hi Montiburns thanks for the comments. I am struggling with you to understand why they won’t give any comment. I can only hope its because not everything – timelines etc. – is under their control. I have no idea if things are delayed or everything is going to plan. It is entirely possible that this is their plan so no one can interfere. They run a very, very tight ship these days. I think the ZM incident has taught them to trust no one until all the T’s are crossed.
Conference calls, a list of questions (I think that was jv123’s suggestion) and so on are all reasonable, but these are unreasonable times. But I will for sure keep these ideas as “pending” until the timing feels right to propose.
I agree that sending emails can seem futile but there will hopefully come a day where the atmosphere shifts and replying to a shareholder doesn’t seem such an alien thing to do. Yours might be the email they reply to.
I have no idea what is going on with the website. I have suggested to them on several occasions they use it for even a basic update, hopefully one day soon.
On ZM changing sides politically. No, I don’t see that happening. The GG publicly distanced themselves from ZM. It was the Minister of the Economy (at the time) and another minister who, if I recall correctly, was recently appointed as the Georgian Ambassador to the US. He presented his credentials to Biden last week. The drama over the senator letters and other issues ensured vast amounts of publicity and airtime for ZM and the Opposition. I imagine they are heavily indebted to each other and I assume remain so given not one of them has come out and rebuffed ZM. I find that quite telling. Who knows what deals might have been talked about in the event of an opposition win? They didn’t include us shareholders in any such talk that’s for sure.
The reason for not sharing was, and remains, related to the court cases. It is here they will look for a summary of what and when (just as you requested!), of potential outcomes and what will happen next. Another possible reason for the silent treatment we continue to endure.
That said I can say that the ZM Texas Case has received Final Judgement. The Final Judgement accepted that the transfer of the asset to FRUS was legitimate.
The other US cases trundle along with various events at various points throughout the year.
What is happening in Georgia / Cayman is harder to understand. As far as I can see, Green Capital / ZM remain prevented from operating by the GOGC. Cyrmo1864 shares the dates of the multitude of cases that are happening but we are unable to ascertain what exactly is going on. You might recall the company being very dismissive on Cayman, as they said in one of their messages “the company has legal teams in Houston and Georgia”, no mention of Cayman.
I hope that at least covers some of the questions you ask, and I really hope they can give us more answers and information soon.
3 cases left:
SN requested delay pending outcome of similar cases at the federal level (Hope case) hearing date: 20 July 22 (3 weeks time) for arguments. Federal case rescheduled to 2023.
2) FIC case
FIC and FRGC allege SN and ZM breached fiduciary duties by approving transactions violating lending agreements plus failing to supervise & conserve FIC and FRGC assets. Court recently granted procedural motion for 3 additional lawyers to join SN legal team.
3) Mourant v SN, ZM case (non-payment of legal fees) - Texas
Trial date: 28 November 2022
ZM no longer involved, so this could now be easily settled or dismissed perhaps.
Firstly to Montiburns for requesting the info from Looed,
Looed many thanks for the layman’s written response..! PS emails won’t stop , hopefully like you say a reply one day and with the response we share holders crave..!?
avi8r, I was completely lost on all the court dates and who was involved with what case etc…!? So many thanks for that

Markwayne Mullin article from The Hill - FRR mentioned
Pt.1
The United States must stand with Georgia's fight for freedom
Vladimir Putin and his influence remain a top threat to democracy, not only in the United States, but across the globe. Look no further than the current situation in Georgia to see firsthand the impact it is having on those who are fighting for freedom.
Georgia is controlled by Bidzina Ivanishvili, a Russian-schooled oligarch who made billions in the corrupt feeding frenzy on abandoned Russian industries after the collapse of the Soviet Union. He led the “Georgia Dream” coalition to power in 2012, similar to the playbook that has been used over the years in Russia and Ukraine to disrupt/hijack economic and democratic progress. As founder and financier of the Georgian Dream party, Ivanishvili abandoned his Russian citizenship to return to Georgia to become the country’s prime minister in 2012.
After establishing power by installing loyal individuals, many of whom were part of his business empire, into senior government positions, he abruptly left office in 2013. Despite resigning, he remained the de facto head of the Georgian government and formally returned to the chairmanship of the Georgian Dream party in May of 2018.
The Georgian Dream party promised to implement constitutional amendments to move to fully proportional parliamentary elections in 2020. The promise of this was a huge step toward becoming a true democracy. Last fall, Georgian Dream went back on their word, sparking protests, causing the opposition in parliament to boycott all legislative and voting activities, and significantly eroding international confidence, particularly within the United States. On March 8, the Georgian Dream and the United Opposition parties reached a seemingly tenuous agreement on electoral reform and the inadmissibility of political interference in the judicial system, including the release of political prisoners. However, the implementation of this agreement is still in question with more work still to be done.
Ivanishvili’s need for unmitigated consolidation of power and control isn’t confined to Georgia’s government. The Putin ally is working vigorously to expel American businesses operating legally in the country. Here are some examples...
Since 1997, Houston-based company, Frontera Resources, has invested more than $500 million in its “Block 12” license area. The company has financed and deployed significant technology from the U.S. to explore for and develop oil and natural gas resources in Georgia. The result has been the identification of billions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas. Frontera’s investment in the country has given Georgia the prospect of energy independence and placed it on a path to potentially become a net energy exporter.
Pt.2
Despite this, Ivanishvili’s government has aggressively sought to advance state-capture and expropriate Frontera’s holdings.
Iconia Capital LLC, an investment management firm and real estate investment company from Hawaii, has been pursuing large-scale development projects in Georgia since 2014. Throughout the past five years, it has been the target of an aggressive expropriation effort which included defamation by a pro-government TV station and attacks by politically connected individuals seeking to illegally seize their property in Tbilisi.
Other American companies like Miami-based Georgian American Alloys’ local Georgian subsidiary, Georgia Manganese, has seen its holdings seized. The U.S. multinational Philip Morris also experienced similar attack by the Ivanishvili-led Georgian government.
Attempted state-capture of high value U.S. private-sector investments has been a common theme for all of the above, with an objective of sending competitive advantage to corrupt allies in Russia, China and Iran via overt and covert business arrangements.
Last year, I introduced the Georgia Fair Business Practices Sanctions Act. It directs the president to submit a report to Congress about U.S. government and non-government investment in Georgia and if the Georgian government is working to undermine those investments. It also seeks to identify current or former Georgian government officials who are responsible for such actions. If the president determines Georgia has committed such actions, the president must impose financial and trade sanctions on the government of Georgia, as well as visa and property blocking sanctions on identified individuals.
Enacting my legislation would be a good first step in holding bad actors accountable and showing we support the fight for freedom. With this, there must also be a broader strategy of support for the Georgian people to further deter this corrupt behavior. Failure to stand with the Georgian people not only threatens to erode the friendship between the peoples of the United States and Georgia, but also undermines the rule of law and democracy across the globe.
The Republican Study Committee, the conservative caucus of House Republicans, recently unveiled their National Security Strategy called Strengthening America & Countering Global Threats. This proposal is a solutions-oriented plan for preserving American leadership around the globe and promoting a U.S. foreign policy which advances the interests of Americans at home and abroad. It acknowledges the influence Putin’s authoritarian regime has had on Georgia and proposes the strictest ever sanctions on his cronies, including Ivanishvili.
Pt.3
The world looks to the United States as an example and if we don’t hold Russia accountable for eroding freedom, who will?
The Georgian people want a prosperous economy and to become a true democracy. Every Georgian has a right to expect this. As Americans, it is also in our national security interest to support these efforts to prevent further Russian influence throughout the globe. We must stand with the Georgian people in their fight for freedom.

Looed - I'm sure that the GD was detrimental to the success of FRR. Markwayne Mullin's statement that you posted is an example of why I think that way. Would you please enlighten me as to why you're sure that if the opposition win, any deals will not include 'us shareholders'?
' The drama over the senator letters and other issues ensured vast amounts of publicity and airtime for ZM and the Opposition. I imagine they are heavily indebted to each other and I assume remain so given not one of them has come out and rebuffed ZM. I find that quite telling.
