do this company do then
Looks like you are writing a diary
£2 within weeks at this rate - still a great yield and nobody has come to the party?! This is now my major shareholding and was touted to reach £6+ a couple of years back. It's rare to come across a share that has both great SP growth potential and high yield - maybe I'm missing something sinister but I can't see it?
It seems like these have caught nobody elses imagination. I'm pleased with the progress since last year. Looks like the divi is safe at over 8% yield. Since there are relatively few shares in circulation the price leaps rather than creeps. I will probably top up on future dips this year. My target is now £2 in the next year because eventually people are going to catch on. Ex div 24th so SP should tick up next week. Next divi 8.5p/share (13.5p/2010). P/E 6. EPS 24p.
WOW - I think we've risen about 50% in a week. I see that a few funds have increased their stake. Anyone have any ideas about where we can go from here? £2 would be nice!!
Oh yes, I forgot to mention those 2 huge trades (512,600) - Neither this site nor Barclays has said if they are buy or sell.
Can't fathom the recent SP weakness so decided to top-up at 108. Yield is now 12% so I think we could be looking at a divi cut ahen the results come put - divi cover is very weak with current profit slump. However, I still have long term belief in this share and trust the management to make the right decisions.
Hi, Good one..bought in yesterday @ 89p should of put more in!!
Hi, I think these are a winner. I originally held some years ago and recently bought in again at £1.20 looking for £2-3 in the next 1-2 years. They are a very well run, low debt company and should do well with the cheap pound.
Looks Interesting?
I am also a holder of this, have been since £2.10 so need to see some more good rise yet, I looked into the last reported figures and the weak dollar will make a big difference to both the US profits and the asset value. It also makes the prospect of a USA company buying the business much more likely now that it is 25% cheaper. The CEO bought shares as well a few weeks ago at under £1.00 so hopefully they will maintain the dividend which is good. If they give a decent statement in Janaury they could get me back to a break even point.
Anyone else holding these? I just topped up last week at £1.26. Must be a good bet for 2009 what with most of their business US based and with the drop in sterling against the dollar. Any thoughts?
Panmure Gordon rates this stock as a buy but has downgraded the target price from 486.00p to 339.00p - still agree with keepitsimple that it is worth a punt.......
What is your view on this share, seems to be heading south again
Why? I've literally just started looking at this one, and I'm still looking for a reason that you would say that for this particular share??? I'll do some more research on BARX in the meantime.
This is very similar pattern to Vanco Simple, lets hope Vanco moves to despute the lead very soon. Good luck if you are in this.
Hmmm looks like I might have missed an opportunity here.. the spread is putting off a little. Good luck keepitsimple I will wait and see if FOUR presents another chance to enter
Thanks for the update, I'm researching into these now. How has your year been, with your overall portfolio if you don't mind me asking? (up what % on paper terms)
Looking good so far, was this the stock you were keeping an eye on?
