UBS is not the only one to upgrade
Success rate: 54% (122 out of 227).
Not as good stats as s£x panther
In case you wonder why sometimes shares rise and sometimes they don't, even on the back of an upgrade - the markets also look at the analyst in question. For example this UBS upgrade is from Jarrod Castle of UBS. Here's his stats:
Average Return: +2.1% per rating
Success rate: 54% (122 out of 227)
There are probably millions of people who sold shares because their patience gave out. If its a share with prospects patience is all you need. I have 70K shares!
Hi Clank. I have 2500 and am lucky enough to be on an average of 339. I could take a nice cut now but I believe in this business and will be sitting it out. You have to do what is right for you of course but good luck!
Clank, I have 2,143 at £4.64, and am planning to hold for the foreseeable. I have no idea if this is the right call, but my opinion is that these have further to go, and that dividends should increase massively from the small return received this year (so far). Should it get to £6.50ish I might be tempting to take the ~40% upside on my investment, but I guess I'll wait and see!
Clank i feel you but at the end it’s all about the entry point and what you think the business will do.
I’m inn at 3,6 and made loads….in the same 2 years as you!
So it’s very personal, risks are there,it’s called investing but if it hurts you just move the money elsewhere as life is short and cannot be wasted worrying about a stock!
Good luck
I've sold at a very small loss on the basis of the middle east conflict escalating. Plan to buy back in at a future date.
I am torn here.
On the one hand I've waited nearly 2 and a half years for my Easyjet shares to break even so I'd like to give them the chance to actually make me some money.
But on the other I've been burned so badly by my airline investments over the years that the thought of yet another outside catalyst bringing the share price steadily down again fills me with dread.
What are you guys planning to do with your shares if you don't mind me asking please? Hold or Sell?
Yes! Easy money all the way till crimbo. £7+ by then.
£6 beofre results which are very near...yeahhhhhh.
This will come off further before we see 6 IMO.
UBS raises easyJet price target to 850 (820) pence - 'buy'
All airlines upgraded
Excellent we now have Poundland derampers on easyJet, who knew that would be a thing. Jog on
No fighting in the ranks please….going UP :)
IAG almost recouped all of the losses...EZJ will follow too.
Anything but rally, markets in red across the board. Not shooting this stock down but i'm beginning to think that Qube have a good reason to be shorting this. Oil futures sky high too.
Sun, you claimed the markets are rallying across multiple boards. We´re invested in some of the same shares and none of them have rallied at all, even though you posted the same on each of them....... Maybe give the ramping a rest eh
We have had wars for a while now and markets seem to move on always..yes, i do read the news. Remember, you can make money every day, no matter what. EZJ will still publish results soon and that will move their share price one way or another. IMO. DYOR though,.
Have you not read the news? Iran will not sit on their hands having just had their consulate bombed.
Wig, maybe not..results due soon, remember?? this could be over £6 in just under 2 weeks. GLA.
You'll be waiting a while.
Patiently looking for this "rally"
It was just to announce that job numbers were coming out in a few min and that could change the market direction in an instant.Thats all. Numbers are out and markets are rallying now..lets hope we continue rebounding. GLA.
Are you posting the same comment on every board Sun?
