Serendipity Guess where AMC are ? Apart from up 25% today.
Ginger - Thats an excellent post. Kudos
I'd suggest you take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
You're pinning everything on the sale.
It's clear from the BoD that the sale is progressing nicely.
Maybe not as fast as we'd like, but progressing nonetheless.
Unless you think the BoD are lying, which I don't think you're saying.
But try leaving the sale aside for a second.
Look at the resources. Look at the valuations put on similar resources around the world, and by WA. Look at the demand for our metals and the response in prices. Look at the hydrogen deal which is very obviously moving ahead. Look at the JVs and contacts we have, with so many highly experienced professionals connected. Look at the size of our advisers. Look at the job our CEO left behind in order to join us. I could go on.
Now put those on one side of the scale.
And put the argument "this isn't how I think a sale should go" on the other side of the scale.
If you conclude that the scale comes down in favour of shorting this stock, then I really don't know what to say.
IMO that's a completely crazy conclusion to come to.
Don't find this in the least bit surprising. EUA are in Russia and you may have read about a slight geo-political risk occurring at the moment! When that dissipates the SP will receover.
Absolutely. I would be very surprised if there wasn't a stipulation in the letter of intent (executed before the due diligence started) that the offer is subject to confirmation of JORC on the asset at minimum the same grades as Russian State cadastre inferred level - something like that.
I think everyone here knows what TMS is here for . , it's not that you would be wanting to follow his recommendations. He hasn't a clue.
It is taking many many months. If it was cheap and simple would be done by now, JORC delay is the delay I feel.
The buyers must want to get this done as much as the seller, in demand assets are no good in the ground.
Deary me, still TMS doesnt understand confidentiality and NDA's on potential complex and high value transactions. Any mid-top tier miner looking at the assets would have a standard NDA signed up prior to any review of EUA's assets.
And these sorts of transactions, which I believe has a number of moving parts take many, many months to complete
I can’t find an example of what you’re asking for, TMS (haven’t looked very hard), but I can find several examples that prove no one should be taking advice from you:
Here’s some stocks TMS spoke about previously:
THAL - in at 2.14 not long after share price crashed to 0.65. TMS comment just before the crash:
? " I really don't see any potential bad news?on the horizon."
SO - 7.13p - Company no longer exists.
MadStork comment: ?"Agree this is undervalued"
SNRP - delisted?
"If this takes off it doesn't look like there's much stopping it til 6.5" it tanked and eventually de-listed.
FAST - gone?
"momentum alone will carry this higher next week."??EMED - de-listed
RAME - de-listed "Will look to add more if it stays at this level though. I'm expecting more interest as the wind farm gets closer to completion."
If that’s not a reason to ignore this idiot, I don’t know what is.
TMS.......
TAP, TAP, TAP...........
The shenanigans started before the tensions with Ukraine.
It's quite clear its due to the situation in the Ukraine. Our mines are in Russia a country on the verge of massive sanctions if they invade. That's my view anyway.
What's going on here? Well just have a look and see if you can find an example of a listed company announcing it was up for sale and that there was a bidder, but providing no information on who is bidding, what they are bidding for or any guidance on price. For 28 months. With three placings. If you step back it is extremely obvious what has happened.
Defies logic doesn't it Kipperkid?
We'll have our day soon.
If only we had the same dastardly MM's that I have with my AMC shares . They are up 40% in the past few days for also having Nickel but no production, and little hope of the required 700 million dollars to get there, AND no take-over/buyout on the horizon. How fellow EUA holders must envy not being in such a company, offering massive rewards with no great fundamentals or potential. Sorry, tongue in cheek comment.
Again with those dastardly MMs...
Kipper & all
The stocks been in the 20-30 trading range for 12 month stated that many many times ,
Since the intro to the MSCI index .
( apart from one day dip & one day nudge north )
Traded in that range as it is now , & until some concrete figures are tossed on deck or conclusion of asset sale I would think we will stay in that range .
( current Ukraine effect the markets or any investor certainty didn’t predict )
Time Toxin is the only negative I see & I understand it erodes some investors , but each to there own on risk investment , I’m content to wait
Obviously if someone offered a conclusion tomorrow I would take it however ,
Shouting & moaning like some do on here ( not yourself ) ain’t going to speed up the process in fact makes easy pickings for mms to remove stock .
We all hope for a prosperous conclusion based on what’s in the RNS .
Rums all Round
Have to admit I misread that a little.
You said half a year, not a year and half.
My Apologies.
Tilly, Couldn't agree more with you about the facts. But just look at the whole market for instance. Imagine all the various scenarios, challenges, threats, and take-over possibilities of those hundreds of companies...all in the blue. Whereas we regularly content ourselves with hysterics when we achieve a 5-10% rise only to see it wiped out almost immediately, go into reverse, then rush to defend it. I find something wrong with my thinking when I join in with that, as I often do. One thing 78 years on the planet has taught me is to stand back and ask myself what really is going on here. And I have to admit I'm having difficulty seeing it.
"I am hopeful of a positive outcome here, but FFS it's been half a year since 'shortly'"
That is not correct. The company never said the sale would be finalised shortly. The "shortly" we're waiting for are the rest of the JORC reports, and it's been a few months, not 1.5 years.
"and everyone is running out of patience"
Again, not so. By everyone you really just mean yourself. You don't know how everyone else feels.
My guess is that ppl running out of patience are overweight here and have not exercised investment discipline.
"Index funds for me from here on out, I don't need the mental burden of this penny stock trash"
I reckon you'll change your mind when you see the significant divi. Shortly.
Sorry, couldn't resist that last one.......
long9 aka short5 stfu ! Sorry was that too on the nose ??? Ok please stfu and go play with your putter. Do you know what credability is ?? In case you dont its that thing you imagine you have but ya dont :) kk Mr tiddler ?

Dunno if you saw the US indexes yesterday? The Nasdaq was 4.5 percent down at one point and end the day green! Insane, crazy markets these!
What about those who saying yesterday we r down bcz of whole market why they r not saying today that others r green today but we still in red why. ?
I see that the markets are all in the green now, how fickle the markets can be.
Much as the BoD know the company, intrinsic value and have an idea of what they'll sell for, many like myself that have been wanting movement on the deal citing Black Swan events such as Covid as a reason to push this through. We are in a period of turmoil, not just covid, but politically, socially etc and I think Covid and the issues between Russia and Ukraine (which are being blown up out of all proportion imho) won't be the last things we have to deal with in the near future as investors. EuA getting this over the line makes holding elsewhere that much easier.
