Sorry JT but your apparent 9:1 buying ratio is an illusion. Most sells were above the mid price so showing as buys.
Builder
Its acually the result from the mathmatical model from the Median algo.
Every buy = a sell and vice versa.
Tells you nothing.
hence the median algo.
nothing illusional at all - its to """Demonstrate"" the trend relative to the Median
Couple that to the Vwap and make of it as you please
JT
Sorry mate but you're talking nonsense.
Heavy buying yet the share price is still down on open price of 27.50 how do they come to that conclusion just proves no matter what positive news we get this is
All manipulated to satisfy the MM,s greed and mates rates. IMO.
I give up, what's the point in trying to explain that the "heavy buying" was a mixture of buys plus sells above the mid price??
OK - still the ratio stands at 9:1
Thats the live feede from LSX.
Go argue the toss with them
Cheers
JT
Cheers for your continuing work here JTMacs, was going to say it is impossible to know for sure. Take my buy at Alba for example - 08:18 200K shares bought at 0.295p but spread was 0.28-0.33. It actually shows as a sell. GLA
Builder12; what’s your figures for the buys v sells? I’m sure everyone on here will be very interested if you’ve got access to more accurate data.
FFS buys vs sell is an estimate and is currently extremely inaccurate because almost all sells this morning showing as buys.
Daniel
Precisley.
Buys / Sells are markers only - tags and not the real trade.
As pointed out - evry buy has a sell - we know that.
Its not a game by the mm's - its purely to give a mathmatical trend .
Real simple.
But that depends on age and intelligence.
Obviously some are having difficulties.
Cheers
Grog and Woods all round
There are no accurate figures del because buys vs sells is an estimate which can be and is manipulated. Try doing a dummy sell to get an indication of true sell price.
To much ‘builders bum’ on here.
I’m confused, if the data is inaccurate, how do you know that sells are marked as buys? Unless you sold them how would you know for sure... JT Macs figures seem to match LSEs. Where are you getting your information from?
Builder, that will just give you the sell price that your particular broker is selling at.
By doing a dummy sell. LSE figures are just based on whether a trade is above or below the mid price at the time it was printed.
I give up.
@TradeTime...preach lol
Try being invested with Alba Minerals....Good RNS = SP drop ??
JT
Cheers mate & would agree with large buy to sell ratio & earlier forward sold & indicates short of stock to fulfil buys .
Some nice kippers slapping on d3ck
Rums all Round
Don't give up, you are correct and it would be good for people on here to understand. There is a culture on here that the MM's are manipulating everything to do with this share.
Builder
We give up too
No way to explain it any simpler.
GL with your next school
Cheers
JT
I agree, mo way for me to explain it any simpler JT. You quite obviously don't have a clue. 9:1 buy ti sell ratio my builder's a**e.
Builder,
I understand where you are coming from, if you look at the trades on LSE, the bid is 26.50 and the ask 28.00, the mid point is therefore 27.25, and the algo will determine that anything above 27.25 is a buy, but if you look closely, you will see trades at the same time priced at 27.33, and 27.60, both classed as buy's, but obviously not, it's just how the system determines it, dummy sells are the only real indicator, but even those can differentiate, depending on your broker, total confusion lol.
Other posters have asked you - what is the ratio then ???
if 9:1 from LSX is incorrect then what is ????
There is no accurate printed ratio JT because buys vs sells is estimated. Simple enough for you?
