Geri I suspect that there will be sales in the pipeline but I would be surprised to see them delivered yet. I believe that there will be recognition of commencement soon like Tarana then sales reported quarter by quarter.
Certainly things are starting to move but trials need to covert to real sales.
On Sept 2nd TL you quoted Steve Deng from Techtronics " we are confident that the ACE-NIC 100 will be instrumental in enabling deployment of optimal 5G performance with mass deployment in H2 2021 with Fibrehome....any updates?
I really like the sales model using a dominant regional player like MTN and Horizon. This is big business selling to National and regional broadband providers.
I suspect that these will sell very rapidly and we'll be constantly updating production targets for Ethernity.
There's definitely a recurring fee, AA2 used a similar model.
$15000 is considerably higher than I expected. Also this is the per link price so for up to 512 users. I expected the base to be around $5000 or $10 per user in Hardware. In reality the cost per installation is determined by the number of targets in viable range. Perfect for suburban locations.
So each tower may have 4 units to cover 360°.
So from $15000 how likely is it that one of the key components is at or above $1000 a unit. A component that was designed and tested at cost by the supplier engaged since the start of the contract.
The immediate market is absolutely huge.
Great find - thanks! Their website is way more informative than Tarana's.
The capex charts - https://www.horizonwireless.com.au/applications - shows the initial outlay is about $15,000 per base unit... amazingly low if true, would have expected it to be significantly higher.
Tarana probably include a recurring operating charge.
Horizon Wireless are the distributor for Tarana AA2 and G1 in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region. It looks like they have sold a lot of AA2 over the years, now they have G1 on their books it brings a whole new market to realisation with increased range and performance. This is a very successful provider in Australia.
Interesting links, thanks guys.
Interesting interview from Verizon-

When’s the next move up, getting bored now after all the action this week!
If not this afternoon, then a nice rise on Friday would do just fine. I’m liking the chart, if one likes such things.
North of 40p could see a bit of a whooosh.

Sounds bloomin’ lovely TL.
It’s nice weather here as well, but be great to be able to capture a lot more of the summer instead of our usual 6 weeks, in a good year!
50 foot Predator is over a million now. Burns fuel at around a litre a minute on cruise and 3 litres a minute on full throttle. No good for crossing oceans but great fun. I like to use nature where I can to carry me for nothing but even on the motor I spend less than €5 an hour.
I am sitting tight here, summer is here and almost zero restrictions. No reason to leave.
I hear you! And that sounds like a serious piece of kit. I recall going to a boat show and seeing what was then the new Sunseeker Predator and drooling. It would probably look like a tug next to yours and the one next door! Enjoy your afternoon. GLA LTH.
I think it's already occupied with a whole load of crazy. Went to lunch today in the sun. When I came back next to me I now have €3m worth of ocean going beauty. So my next task is to work out what share price I need to get one. I would need €5000 to fuel it.
Maybe now today's EGM is out of the way I'll get my business development update soon...I can hope! Please can I have the padded cell on the other side of you TL?!! GLA LTH.
Market forming here looking for the next trigger up. The rise is inevitable.
Currently can sell up to 33,000 @ 38.55p, buy up to 25,000 @ 40p.
Thanks Kitlow
Well done Escapetohome, that's the amount I was trying to get hold of but alas I will fall slightly short.
An example of the need for a network. If a national rail operator wants a private network they won't cover their network in private towers and radio units. It will become a sliced part of other networks. They may then have kit to extend say to the lines then into the carriages. They will then sell services, run maintenance, timetable, safety and everything from their uninterrupted private network. Now Ericsson, Nokia or anyone can supply the national network. Ethernity then can with others likely through an Integrator supply everything else.
We'll see small "smart this or that" pilots before the big stuff. This is exactly what the field trials are.
The 5000 trade listed unknown , was my top up.
Now holding over 100,000.
Speaking of 4G and 5G it is interesting that most of the DU products available has the DU at the RU. A very unlikely case for 5G. Ethernity can change architecture now even before 5G and bring together 4 and 5G in one solution. This makes migration much cheaper later on.
Existing 5G mobile networks globally are little more than accelerated 4G. Service providers are just now starting to invest in 5G capable networks. However just because someone provides the network it doesn't mean that Ethernity cannot sell kit. Ethernity needs a network to connect appliances to.
TL, I fear you are going to be knocked off the top spot for technical knowledge and deep analysis of Enet - there's a new kid on the block lol.
