Apparently cyfalafwr , AIM does not have trading halts , we are anticipating the announcement in Australia B4 4 pm today . That is if ASX can keep to the time line .
Certainly an interesting development, looking forward to finding out the details.

Ev - second page on the link below.... GLA
Don't see anything about PFS?
They might want to release news to the London market first, or maybe the US market. There is obviously a strategy here.
Either way, it has made this week interesting.
(Halted) pending the release of an announcement relating to an update on the PFS for the Cinovec Project.

You rarely get trading halts on AIM for things like PFS updates , they are more frequent on ASX
Are we there yet, now then ?lol
Pretty much what I was thinking.
A trading halt on ASX doesn’t necessarily mean there will be one on AIM tomorrow, so perhaps they’ll make the announcement tonight…
I wonder for which market they will time the announcement?
Hopefully we’re going to get our faces ripped off with g-force of the rocket taking off !!!!
Trading Halt : Updated PFS in 2 days open back up on Friday .

The latest vid from the rock stock guys. Much logic employed in their analysis wrt upstream issues for OEM/battery makers. If they don’t get their act together soon I fear that some will go to the wall.

I have a figure of 700 tonnes per GWh so 630,000 tonnes if getting to that capacity at 16% of global output.
It's not just lithium supply it's also the process into hydroxide that's short and we have both.
A very moot point Mr Cautious. I hope and suspect that this is a spike in prices due to "current" supply issues (which may last a while), but in the longer term supply (inc EMH) will increase and a drop will occur. It'll have to, as no one would be able to afford and EV due to the cost of the battery.
Trouble with skyrocketing Li prices is that worthwhile EV's are already pricey and this is always attributed to battery costs. If costs go much more mental alternative tech will be looked at such as Hydrogen IC or Hydrogen Fuel Cells....
strengthens Keiths hand in negotiations, im sure who ever end up getting a contract with will pay a lot more than the 12,500 per ton in PFS I cant wait to see those results of up dated PFS , maybe the continuing upward trend of Lithium prices and Tin is throwing any calculations out lol
....and tin just hit $42,910 in London.
Thx for the link LLInv :
One important change noted is that Ryan Parkin of Infinity Lithium (Spain) said that his projects have had to go from open -pit to underground mining - significant change to satisfy ESG requirements/public perception.

Matt Fernley of Battery Materials Review and The Volta Hedge fund shares his analysis pointing toward $5,000 spodumene and $60,000 lithium carbonate prices and why high lithium battery materials prices are likely to significantly constrain EV sales growth.

Are these guys saying $90,000 a tonne Lithium by June ???
Allkem sees lithium carbonate prices rising 80% in half year to June

I will accept KC holding back on offtake if he can get $90 K a tonne .
