EKF Julian Baines shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year and also RENX and VRCI have been shortlisted in the Best Technology Award category. I'm very happy being a long term holder here and enjoying their success. Well done.

EKF has been shortlisted in a few categories in the AIM awards.

Attended today's results presentation on Walbrook. Really impressed. Future looks great here. I assume they will issue a recording of the event for those who couldn't attend. I'll post a link when they do. Very much worth a watch.
Thanks Tricky, appreciated!
Mine are there but no price held as I seem to recall they are locked for 12 months anyway but could be wrong.
Does anyone know when we will receive our shares in Trellus. I’ve heard nothing directly and I thought they floated in May
Yes, they do a lot of share based rewards, some seem possibly maybe on the 'excessive' side, but all the other key figures are fantastic and a great investment I believe, with a potential PEG of 0.3 moving forward ....... it's also got a strong diverse product portfolio now that should give significant growth over the next few years.
Fab, thanks for responding. Feels right for the staff to benefit from all their hard work too. Wish some of my options had performed like that. Come to think of it, I wish ANY of my options had performed like EKF!
It does feel like a nicely controlled and well managed business with consistent performance. All IMO. Been here since about 20p in 2015, and in no hurry to go anywhere, although I did take my original investment back at some point.
Thanks again.
tricky752 , lower NCFO is due to "Share-based payments" - basically share option offered to staff being vested due to the strong performance - this is considered as a non cash expense.
Overall, strong set of numbers, strong buy !
In addition to the numbers, what I find really exciting is the mention of acquisitions and bullish wording around that.
“We have made good progress against these objectives, as set out below. Discussions are progressing as planned for a number of earnings enhancing acquisitions, and we have identified a number of potential products to expand our existing core business.”
There is something coming.
Numbers are good. Just one number I am not fully understanding is the net cash generated from operations. £1.13m reported v £6.94m for the same period last year?
Was there an exceptional item in last year’s net cash generation does anyone know?
Of course, it must just be my lack of understanding!!
Lovely to see this today....
"The Board is very confident that trading for the year ending 31 December 2021 will be comfortably ahead of already upgraded management expectations"
Interesting to see that EKF are opening new facilities in relation to COVID testing kits "with the expectation that sales of these products will continue for the foreseeable future", and that "we are now discussing the supply of products for non-COVID-19 indications" resulting from the success of the COVID test kits.
Plus encouraging to hear that the core business "is capable of generating significant double-digit growth in adjusted EBITDA over the next three to four years".
Can't help wondering why it's taking two and a half months to produce interim results; are their accountants on a go slow or something? When I was a chief accountant a few years ago we did it in less than a month.
At the time I wrote the post all the trades were showing as sells.
Results coming out on the 14th Sept and price currently up 1% with a spread less than 1%.
Nice.
Is everyone selling?
Recent SP performance doesn’t reflect that view.
Probably because 1. Its hard to tell if recent results will be sustained. 2. Although we have now seen some divs, the yield is quite poor for such a low SP.
Do they know something I don't?
From the TU RNS 21/07:
EKF expects to announce its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2021 in the first half of September 2021, with the date to be confirmed in a subsequent announcement.
That “subsequent announcement of the date” must be close now. Max 6 weeks to wait anyhow.

This little gem from Cardiff is going from strength to strength, has to be part of the long term portfolio, surely!
New target 88p
Not sure what impact this will have on EKF but clearly PCR testing based. Where are the testing products coming from?

I would have thought we’re not far off a Trading Update here, given number of weeks elapsed, expansion of private sector agreement etc,
Investor Presentation (see latest RNS) now up on the EKF website.https://www.ekfdiagnostics.com/res/EKF%20Investor%20Presentation%20June%202021%20Growth%20strategy%202021-2024.pdf
Thanks Helcon. With all recent news, I can’t see this hanging around in the 70s for much longer.
