I have been in here nearly 12months at 52p,. Not he glamour puss rises like some other shares but still very very nice. Still more to come I hope and believe. ATB
E2V used to known as the English Electric Valve Co. Recommended as a buy by the Investors Chronicle recently.
Few here have noticed this company and I have not ramped it either. It,s nice to have the board to oneself and just sit back and wait till a few clever one spot it. We done..
Nice rise again today, steady as she goes
and relaxing and heading north.. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
is there something going on that we should know about here? 3 x 1,000,000 shares buy orders today???
This flying today. Lets hope it continues. This board is my own little secret..
Am I the only one who can see an upside on this .. Is this going to move on to anew plain in March??
looks quite interesting. Talk of dividend and has been quietly climbing north. Lots of things going on too. Just love an empty board.....Can talk away to myself for hours
Total over reaction first thing. Part due to RNS but more to do with overall market concerns about Eire. Pulling back now and I would expect it to settle around the 87-90 mark foe a while. This still has a long way to go in my book but maybe not now until next year. I'm well up here so I'm happy to stick around for a while and see.
for monday the price has been stagnent for a while, the interims should at least get it moving again one way or the other.;-]
Hi BBill Have been in this for a few weeks now, good to see someone on the board. I am confused about the RNS that shows Aberforth have dropped a few shares and down to 13.85%. This seems very deliberate to be just under the14%, which is classed as a threshold fig, { I know little about thresholds} with the interims out soon any thoughts you have would be interesting.
Interim due out next Monday. Hopefully it will push this back through 100 and keep it there.
120 looks pretty good to me. Been worth the wait so far.
My 1.20 dosn't look that far away, maybe early next year. quids in but hanging in also.
During 2008-9 the sustainable line seemed to be around the 1.20-1.40 level. obviously last year was a washout for all stocks. due to the restructuring that has been positive i see no reason why there isn't a steady rise during 2010 as good news about market stabilision and growth continue to be positive. The results in early june will hopefully continue this trend.
Makes good reading doesn't it. The 2 Director buys in early March said it all. SP hasn't looked back since. What price are you looking at?
Keith Attwood, Group CEO commented "In conjunction with the positive support from shareholders for the equity raise, a huge effort across the organisation has enabled the Group to deliver a creditable performance last year in very difficult circumstances. Our order profile supports management's view that our markets have largely stabilised. As we implement the restructuring programme in the UK and France, we continue to focus our attention on our customers' needs and on shaping the business strategy to return the Group to growth. 2010/11 is a transitional year for the business and, despite the attendant challenges, the outlook for the year is positive." e2v will announce full year results for the year ended 31 March 2010 on Monday 7 June 2010.
Let's hope this recovery continues. I got in for 10k at 42p. I went for an interview with them several years ago and they were really positive and motivated about their future. The management certainly knew what they wanted, where they were going and how the expected to get there. There more in this yet.
This share is up 35% in last couple of months, the directors climbed aboard at mid 30s, they know a winner obviously. I'm got in at 38 so grinning for a while. Been a high as £3 +.
Trading Announcement due on Monday 12th. Can we expect a positive outlook after the recent good news?
INSTANT ANALYSIS: E2V restructuring efforts encourage 1 April, 2010 09:06:25 AM Seymour Pierce repeats its buy and 40p a share price target. Says: e2v has today issued an update on its restructuring process. Whilst the industrial issues in France may have grabbed the headlines, it appears that management have managed to keep the overall process running. The formal consultation process in France has come to an end and they are into the implementation stages. We note that this is all running per the original timetable
Yes, that does look like very interesting timing from the directors.
are they due on the 31st of March? Interesting too see the directors bought recently. We could be seeing positive result
50p on level 2... Almost time for a punt!
