not one for trading...so sensible to dip toe in imv ...if the past sp chart is anything to go by, this lurches (up or down) v quickly (sp movement not independent/another nail in classical finances coffin)...so keep an eye on it...it may be worth topping up on movement up (fingers crossed) ...no advice intended
'Quite a big spread but got in at 315p...I'll keep this in the bottom drawer. GLA :-)
Given the over valuation of so many stocks at this moment in time, I would say (having had a good look at this company) that the "A" share is seriously undervalued. I will l be pressing a buy button early on Monday morning. Thanks for your continued Jolly good advice (IMHO), on this and many other shares, it is truly appreciated. Best regards, Blue.
my Jolly speculation is that perhaps few PIs are interested in this boring widget type company ....and IIs who have any (modest) interest strongly prefer voting over non-voting ...if you look at 10 year + revenue and op profit track record at company level, I think you'll be Jolly impressed
Seems like a fair case of keeping it within the family...who do indeed seem Jolly decent :() As I am sure you know, 68% of the 3.3m voting shares are not in public hands ( vs 46% of the 5.2m non-voting shares) . Even so, a typical price differential would be 3-5%, would it not?... but the "pd" here is huge and as you say widening over time. Could it just be a case of the mm's applying price control pressure to try and weasel out some more voting shares?...they don't like it when they can't push other people's buttons!!
the question I have asked (mostly myself) for ages ...rationally because folk are worried about some kind of "abuse" of the voting shares ...but why? and why now? ...if you look back 10 years, this is pretty much the widest discount ...and the Dewhursts feel Jolly respectable to me (never meet them, mind lol) ...if you compare ownership, alignment, management here with pretty much any company (FTSE or AIM) I reckon these guys (they are guys not gals) come up smelling of lavender and roses ...so why the discount??
'Scuze my ignorance...but why is this at such a discount to DWHT ? Best regards, Blue
was several weeks ago
...I'd be Jolly disappointed if EBIT is a long way below £4m (which would be nearly 30% down on last year and 40% decline on like for like basis), a figure low by historic standards ...EV here is c£25-30m depending on how you look at the pension deficit...so EV/EBIT looks underdemanding ...and then there is the 40% discount of non voting A to ords ...and the director purchase of A shares yesterday (and great longterm stable aligned management) ...wot not to like?? ...dyo r & thinking, all
..still massive discount to DWHT ...dyor (if there is anyone watching and learning) ...no advice intended
@3.14...cheap as chips imv
drop in bid to 295 lol
4 reassurance lol
not part of plan...Jolly puzzling
and you may receive lol
...perhaps bring that ask down sub 320p?
the MMs have got one impatient investor.. ...next
bore into submission lol
so why not over £4...moves here have been sharpish looking back ...no advice intended
Big time atb
is a good un
I havent looked at it tbh. I'm putting all available funds in the other one, It'll be bigger then a lot think but good luck with this one though
Hi where do you see this buy the new year
u r missing a crackerjack imv ...quasi arbitrage between this & DWHT...dyor/no advice intended
