Next update in less than 5 weeks. This share is over sold now and the next update will prove that.
With DPP opening more stores this year & more in the future = I can't see dividends for years yet ! More likely to require raising of capital to fund the roll out of more stores. I'm still holding & will add on any major dips - If i think the shares are oversold :)
Don't think divis will be on the horizon for another 3 years yet,
Now looking forward to interim results in September. Share price ticking back up as well. Does anyone think dividends next year?
I don't think this link is working but if you want to read the article go to the DPP website and there is a link under the latest news banner that you can use to view the article, Dave
An article in the NYT says that Poland may in the next few years be the next country to be counted as being a wealthy economy by the IMF. If it's true then it can only help DPP to sell more pizzas, which would be nice. The article can be found at https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/05/opinion/poland-economy-trump-russia.html. Dave
Continues to deliver and SP has been ticking up again over last week or so. Difficult to know what is a fair price but content to leave money invested for the moment and possibly for the very long term if the strategy continues to deliver value.
Now have 46 stores, should hopefully easily get to 50 by the year end. Opole is a city of approximately 128 000 inhabitants in the west of Poland. Hope that the trading update shows everything is on track. Dave
When I posted last I wasn't expecting a share placing, so didn't expect a share price drop, but usually there is an update from the company in July and I'm sure that will push the price back to 50p. Maybe I'm wrong so always best to dyor.
I don't know for certain but I believe it is what you first put that it is in effect a director share buy at the placing price, in this case of 43p. Dave
06-Jun-17 Placing Chris Moore 43p GBX 348,000 4254663 Just wanting to clarify - Does a director share placing at 43p mean 43p paid by the Director for the quantity of shares listed, in other words it's like a Director buy effectively but not from the open market. OR does it mean the Director was given shares say vested at 43p or does it mean something else altogether? With thanks in advance good folks for any help and clarifications on the above
The 2 new ones are in Lublin (population of approx 350 000) and Rzeszow with approx 187 000 inhabitants. Think it is going to take a while before we see 60p again but we will get there and way beyond, it will just take time. I'm still firmly of the opinion that DPP are a great share for the future.
Another one in Radom I think
That's great news and with trading still strong and more stores opening soon this share will be above 50p again very soon and I'll say above 60p by September
I will only probably buy if it goes to about 40p. Other than that not bothered, Many other shares available. Not really a day trader.
No idea what's going on but I'm here for 2-3 years so not really worried although it doesn't make sense as you say. Not gonna buy on dips either. Long term project here intact.
I don't think all is as it seems. There has been plenty of small buys but I think there has been one big seller! If he's still there we won't go anywhere for a while.
The past few days we have had a sea of sells and the sp stayed constant, today with buys supposedly significantly outstripping sells we're down approx 5 per cent.
Very encouraging indeed. All on track for 50 stores by year end.
They have opened in Poland... franchise model will mean eventually a store in every town! And many more in cities!!! The growth prospects are frighteningly exciting....
Bought in first thing this morning.... trading update next week.... nice
