The company now plans to open an office in Melbourne, Australia. While the sales were up overall, the company experienced a decline in services of search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click and managed campaigns. "Despite our efforts to reposition the search marketing business to mitigate the impact of the changes made by Google to their search engine algorithms in 2012, it has become clear in recent months that the original strategy of cross-selling SEO to the small and medium enterprises clients of dotMailer is now less attractive and less profitable because of reduced operating margins and is increasingly seen as a distraction to the core strategy of growing email marketing revenues," the company said in a statement. However, that company said it has continued to see recurring revenues and is predicts growth this year.
dotDigital Group, a software and digital marketing company, reported on Friday a 22 per cent sales increase during the last half of 2012 as new clients including BBC Worldwide and Balfour Beatty jumped on board. Email marketing, e-commerce and website building services were the top performers, the group said in a trading update for the six months leading to the end of December. A 38% increase to £4.1m in email marketing, including Saas licence and usage, was driven by new clients in the corporate sector and demand from existing customers. Clients who joined the company over the period were BBC Worldwide, e-Consultancy, Harveys, England Hockey Board, Investec, Osprey London, BP International, ITV, Odeon Cinemas, Ryman, Delice de France, Surrey County Council, City & Guilds, Cartridge World, Balfour Beatty and Help for Heroes. The newly opened New York office also helped boost revenues as it signed its first email marketing client just before the Christmas holiday.
Nothing goes up in a straight line!
Quote for you On riding the trend to the big money: Men who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon. I found it one of the hardest things to learn. But it is only after a stock operator has firmly grasped this that he can make big money. It is literally true that millions come easier to a trader after he knows how to trade than hundreds did in the days of his ignorance. This will be going much higher IMO ,give it a few months and lets see ,as for brokers they are a bunch of numpties . Dot dot cash cash ..............................good news on its way !
I would be careful and top slice broker rating was 16.5p plus venture into USA will eat into profits for 2013.. not much has changed from today to when the results were anounced at 12.25p! so a substantial profit on little news watch the spike newbies....
Oh we love a bullish break ;-) Dot dot cash cash cash ..............................
Who knows i can only see big blue skies ,20p as a first stop sounds good though ! Dot dot cash cash cash ;-)
Like the speculate as to how far this little gem can go?
Blue skies ahead folks ;-)
16.25 to buy just ticked up Dot dot cash cash cash ;-)
Happy new year folks ,ask moving up nicely now ,could be about to get some more good news IMO . Hold and buy folks the Dots are going up ;-) Dot dot cash cash cash .................................................
Why thank you...
Continued growth in the digital marketing space should continue to drive expansion. Recurring revenues represent regular income but not necessarily economies of scale? Spend in the digital marketing sector should increase over the next 12 months as companies are forced to take it more seriously, but keeping pace with changes will always be a challenge.
Nice chunky buying again ,new year high once again ,i know i know getting a bit boring now ;-) Dot dot cash cash cash Anyone like to make a guess that we get tipped as a share of the year for 2013 ??
Dot dot boom.New year high folks 15.17 paid ;-) Dot dot cash cash cash ....................................
Indeed going up on sells =big buyer around IMO ;-)............................ Dotd sponsored by the ICF lol .....................;-) Now they were a firm !!
30p in 3yrs... I would hope for a 0 to be added to that or im guessing you would'nt be here!!
Given the flood of news due over at Maggie in the next few weeks, i'll think i will hold for an impending sharp rise...then pay heed to your wise words and split 50/50 in this general direction....i will admit, having all my eggs (all be them golden) in one basket with the current market woes was troubling me!! Just hope Maggie does'nt let me down in the next few weeks..... If your into a punt in the tech sector,,'Cyan' looks promising for a good future hold...new pending anytime!!
Why not split your money and go 50/50 for your portfolio ? Always good to diversify IMO .get stocks in different sectors . My crystal ball says this could well be 30p+ in a couple of years barring a market meltdown ,or they may get taken over if they dont grow by acquisitions ,but who really knows what the future holds .Nevertheless this is a great company with no debt growing at a fast rate and well run by the bod ,with plenty of cash in the bank too . Good luck if you join us in here ,personally cannot see any downside . Magp is a good share too btw . Sector ;-)
