Dunelm Group (LON:DNLM – Get Rating)‘s stock had its “outperform” rating reissued by investment analysts at Royal Bank of Canada in a report released on Monday, LSE.Co.UK reports.
They presently have a GBX 1,400 ($17.26) price target on the stock. Royal Bank of Canada’s price objective suggests a potential upside of 60.61% from the company’s previous close.
were busy. Lots of customers. Bodes well.
E_AL.
I don't know why DNLM has crashed from £14 a share to £8.84 in the last 5 months. I might understand if the sp was say £12.00, but £8.84 is just astonishing. If you look at the RNS's you will not only see a dividend. You will see a special dividend was paid and in the last month or so 3 directors have bought shares.
If you figure out what happened please post it here 'cos I'm baffled.
All IMHO.
Any reason why this is moving in the opposite direction to FTSE ?
Sp up 1.4% now.
This sp REALLY should be way over £10.00 at minimum IMHO.
It's C R A Z Y. The directors have bought loads in last 4 weeks!!
All IMHO.

And again.
I wonder if the bigger players are taking notice of the Large director buys in the last 4 weeks or so. About time.
All IMHO.
but don't blink.
**CAREFULL !!!! The sp is in danger of turning blue here. Down 0.4%..........
MKS are a bit up.

buying I think it was £345,000 of shares last 2 weeks and what happened? The sp fell further. The 2 directors that bought are underwater. One bought in at over £10 a share so he's over 10% down already! See the RNS's!
This company paid a dividend and also a special dividend and the market still trashed the sp!
So I take it the market "thinks" that a Company doing very well (with loads of loyal customers I might add) due to interest rates going up a tad is suddenly going to have a terrible time? HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MANY NEW HOUSES/FLATS THAT ARE BEING BUILD LATELY? How much Dunelm goods are bought for them then???
All IMHO.
All IMHO.
took off back uo to more like £16.00 a share. Note M&S up 3.3%......
Still screaming but even louder!!
All IMHO.
all IMHO.
MADNESS !!!
No surprise the market lumps all retailers together. One down, all down.
Even if they're gaining share over other furnishers.
so they seem confident..........
All IMHO.
Down 2%!
Looks like the CEO picked the wrond day to buy!
However....... presumably the CEO knows how the Company is performing so we will see if the sp starts to climb. Obviously the bigger players will be aware. Maybe tempted to accumulate at these levels??
All IMHO.
.
Correction. The post posted itself somehow before I was done:-
My view is Dunelm are doing well.
Why else would the 2 directors have bought £367,000 worth of shares in the last 2 weeks?
Loads of new houses/flats being built.
Loads of people have moved house/flat during the pandemic.
Lots of people at home due to covid refurbished.
People working from home refurbish.....................
Refugees need the basics too!
All sounds like a load of gear needed that Dunelm sell.
They paid the dividend AND A SPECIAL DIVIDEND so take that on board!!
I expect a trading update that will rocket the sp over £14.
All IMHO.

Sorry, former.....
EC,
I'm in here as well.
Please be aware that this type of transaction can mean one of two things. As you say, and hopefully you are correct, they know something we don't!!!!!!!!
Alternatively, it could be a move to increase shareholder confidence.
I hope the latter but offset for the worst.
Happy Hunting
Add that to the £277K another director bought last week and it add up to £376K of shares bought............................................
They seem confident. Incidently they had a sale on a few weeks back so one presumes they saw the figures coming in from their flashy tills system. IMHO the CEO ain't going to spend £99K of his own money on DNLM shares unless the recent sale went well, umless he is mad?
All IMHO.
@ £9.81p per share. I've bought some more also.
