So from what I gather HL can sell on your behalf IF they can. I have been on the phone to them, they haven't got any information/documentation from DEV yet so they cant advise.
Keep us updated on the HL mate. Will be interesting to see what they can do..don't think anything can happen till end of March according to Asset Match on their platform. GL.
I am currently trying to get hold of HL over the phone, I want me shares out, all of them, walk away with whatever I get. Hopefully they can sort this shambles out.
GLA
I am in a similar position to the OP - almost identically down to the number of shares.
If I just want to hold these and see what happens - what is the best course of action?
Sanibel I mentioned that and there is no way to trade through HL so the holding would have to be moved..
Barnard yes.
Maybe its worth pointing the sell only part out to HL as their interpretation might be one of buying.
I wounder if HL can deal with them on a sell only basis ?
My response from HL..it ties up with yours mate.
So the Asset Match website isn't up to date. I wouldn't rely on the list of brokers best check IMO.
Whilst we have made use of their services in the past, the current structure of their service does not offer the flexibility we require in order to be able to provide our clients with an efficient trading facility. Such a service would require significant system development and, currently, our focus is on developing services that are of benefit to most clients.
We appreciate this doesn’t help with your objective but you may be able to transfer your holding to a stockbroker who can make use of the facility with Asset Match.
That's strange because on the Asset Match list of brokers who deal HL are listed..it does state sell only but it is listed there.
Got this from HL:
Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to deal through Asset Match.
If you wish to move your holdings out to a provider who do you can transfer out your stock.
If you would like help with this, feel free to call our Transfers Helpdesk on 0117 906 7816 and they will be happy to assist you further.
Same mate and emailed the company regarding the investor section of the website and when it's live..
Have emailed HL with a few questions so I will let you know what they have to say.
I'm thinking the same ..if funding comes and if we hear people close to the company have invested I'm staying put..sh it or bust I guess. I can wait another year or 2 and the business model and market possibilities seem huge ,just been very badly managed..
If I hear anything from HL or anything else I'll post hope everyone else does also.
I think I,ll hold my modest original 40,000 shares with the hope the company recovers in time. I don't want to sell out at a silly price during the auction. HL have not been helpful in their communication IMHO. It appears that a Crest transfer to the Asset Match platform is suggested irrespective of whether the shareholder wishes to sell or not. Please post links if anyone has useful information that will help us collectively. The previous management should step away, they failed us as shareholders, shame on those ( dogs).
will do Barnard and will let you know.
Many thanks
It really is impossible to know what to do but the Asset Match won't start until the company is fully funded I believe...so working capital and growth capital will be in place when we can use it..how long this takes who knows but it is underway.
I'm not sure about how it works but I'm going to contact HL this week and ask.
Sanibel message HL and ask they are pretty responsive, I'll do same.
I have registered for Asset Match but my heart says sell and my head says hold . If the company is funded I would be more confident of success without Jeffries and with Aggar in control focusing on India initially with already Indian gov interest . New CFO great sector good product , possibly 5p raise ? Do you want 1/6 of the value of your investment ? Or less at auction . For what you will get from vultures in the short term is it worth it? If they go bust everyone gets very little , so I’m going to hold if they get financed I think the value of your stock will be vastly better than 0 or slightly above if the company begins to thrive and gets looked over by BYJU or another large predator GLA
Hi Barnard. So you say I just register with asset match. Do I fill out crest to transfer to them or can HL take instruction to do this for me. I will register for the presentation for sure. Like many other investors here I am far from happy about all of this. Problem is do I sell at what 7.5p I believe or hold on ?
Sanibel HL are listed with Asset Match and I agree we should try share as much info as we can. It's worth signing up and easy to do also register for the presentation via the email on RNS. GL
Gallini. Thanks for taking the time to post this information.
I am with HL I wonder if they are listed with them.
Not sure if I should hold or wait a while.
I hope some of the informed posters here keep posting information that will let people like me make a judgement on what to do.
Thanks again
Of the 60 are fine I believe. My broker barclays is not listed though :-(
Gallini thanks for that.. can it be done through one of the listed brokers if you hold with one that deals with them (I believe 60 of them) or do you need open one of the accounts mentioned no matter what. Cheers.
@Olives 'Look forward' to hearing some more about the direction of Veative and maybe some info regarding funding etc
