LivenLearn, yeah I've seen that. The letter says "we will deliver you a certificate of the unlisted shares in your own name". That's not a bad thing, right? Presumably I can put them somewhere else in the future? Like maybe into a platform that already works with Asset Match? (The only other share dealing account I have is with HL and they don't work with Asset Match either - or can I still transfer them HL? Or better just to have the share certificate?)
Randy, as of today HSBC will issue certificates if you haven't instructed them to transfer to another broker
Sorry to be negative, but people on here pining hope on the asset match are crazy. You’d be better to mentally write this completely off - for an asset match to work, you need someone willing to buy your shares. Currently the company isn’t even worth 0.3p, never mind 30p. Best write this one off I’m afraid (suffered a heavy five figure loss myself on these clowns)
The company is listed on Asset match under Veative. Just register on the website and you can see the details..very easy to do.
Just had the below from HL myself , hasn’t been of any use as it’s not info we didn’t already know .
Thanks for your message.
This stock is currently delisted from the London Stock Exchange, and such is no longer trading and as such we will continue to hold on behalf of clients pending further update.
Should there be any further updates we will contact clients to let them know.
I hope this has been of assistance. If you have any other questions, please get back to me.

In my case I’m
Happy to leave with HL for a while longer as in very good profit(nearly 800 %at suspension but it’s not a profit unless you take it and I don’t like being in position of not being able to access it at some point to at least get to a free ride position which I was planning to do just before suspension but greed brought out the worst in me again , I must dust off that crystal ball ! Another one potentially got wrong .
Thanks Barnard. Solid advice as always.
As for their funding... it's being finalised?!? So they are funded? I didn't think that would ever happen. How likely is it that there will a listing on Asset Match? I'm sure you can't give a definite answer, but an educated guess or hunch?? Thanks
Randy yep pretty much, I understand funding is being finalised and signed off by legals, contact HL they'll tell you what to do.They are named as a broker on asset Match but it's not right you can't deal directly through your HL account. GL.
So, what are we saying here...
- they need to establish funding first
- if they do then there would be an opportunity to sell (or buy) shares on the Asset Match platform, but it won't be until 29/03/2023 at the earliest if it does
- I need to set up an account with Asset Match in advance (how long does that take to be fully formalised?)
- My shares are with InvestDirect (HSBC) and HL, so I should contact them to find out what to do?
Have I got everything right so far?
Thanks
iWeb moved my Dev holding from my ISA to my ordinary share account, where I can see them listed.
LT. If as I suspect you have more than one stock in your portfolio with II, then your holding in Dev should still be amongst the list of investments. That is the position with my accounts. If you are in doubt you could message II for clarification.
I don't believe AM becomes live until funding is sorted..which hopefully won't be too long.
No buyers or sellers listed yet. I expected some sellers maybe they have not got their certificates sorted yet.
The 0.01p is the description of the security I think not the market value of the shares
Thanks elvis
Just says the number of shares and "is/are the registered holder(s) of the above number of Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each fully paid in Veative Group Holdings plc subject to the Articles of Association of the Company. Given under the Securities Seal of the Company on this the 25th January 2023. So a massive loss as things stand on the former 30p a share value.
Does it say how much each share is worth thanks
I transferred mine out of Barclays to certificates. The Certificate arrived this morning issued as Veative Group Holdings plc.
I’m with II and mine have been transferred to my dealing account from my ISA. No point moving them as I don’t intend on selling. Bust or bust for me! Not optimistic, not because the business won’t be successful, but because we’ll be diluted to hell. Fundraising, bonus shares for the board, more bonus shares for the cleaners. It was badly managed when on a heavily regulated exchange, what chance is there of any solid / fair management with a good shareholders return at the centre, whilst as a private company? The first auction in March will be interesting but I feel we’ll be very very disappointed.
I am still waiting for my certificate. Anyone progressed any further?
I see Asset Match have listed the first auction, listed under Veative, closing date 29/3/23
Hi LT,
if you held your shares in an ISA they should have opened up a trading account for you mate, I already had a normal trading acc they opened when my ISA transferred over when they bought out The Share Centre a while back. So they just transferred shares into there from the ISA where I can continue to hold them and I can call them to arrange any trades via asset match if I choose to add or sell. I would call up and see what is going on with yours if you can't see the shares listed in your online account mate :-)
Are you sure about this LT?
Interactive Investor should have taken your shares if an ISA and place into a normal trading account for you as they have with mine, the text below is the reply they sent to me when I emailed them using secure messaging function about future ability to trade Dev via Asset Match:
We are able to facilitate a trade through Asset Match. There is an additional commission charged by Asset Match, this is either 3% of the trade or £20, which ever is higher. This trade will be placed at phone commission (£49) too.
That is if you want to sell LT. If you want to retain the stock that you have, II advised me that they will keep our stock on their books.
Yep Akers..would be good to see some others coming through..he's not had the best of time with his stable but positive non the less!
