Pickledpeck: 'Notrex, you're obviously unhappy to be in this share,.....' - I suspect the list you might compile of those who are not unhappy with this share could be written a rather small piece of paper with a very broad nib felt marker. Furthermore, I suggest that anyone who is actually 'happy' with the current state of DEC is either a moron or pi55ed (or both)!!
'...Well I'm very disappointed with you GG...'
It's such a shame notrex you didn't give any credence to my initial warnings, over 12 months ago, when this share was double what it is today, and the dividend was triple what you'll be getting in your next payout. Just think, instead of insulting me, you could have sold out at that time, and moved on or waited to get back in at these levels. Oh well, you live and learn...or not, in your case, lol.
Notrex, you're obviously unhappy to be in this share, you dot see the price rising let alone recovering, so why haven't you sold? It's a serious question, you plainly don't trust the management team at all, and have pretty much no hope for the prospects.
Genuinely curious about why you have not sold and moved on?
Well I'm very disappointed with you GG. I really can't believe you're unable to post me the link to the information where you learned that DEC have now stopped selling gas and consequently have no income! You'll have some folks here thinking you just pulled that out of your ar se and were telling blatant porkies? Not me though - I believe everything you say - honest!! LoL
Sorry notrex, too busy playing golf with trek baloney. He's having trouble getting through the windmill and round the loop-de-loop.
Hello GG - so DEC aren't producing any gas and selling it via their hedges any longer then? Crikey - I didn't know that - can you let me have the link to that information please?
'...the funds thereby saved are going to (insert as appropriate) - reduce debt? and/or acquire new wells? and/or fund BBs and/or fund higher salaries and bonuses for our good ole Rusty and his car crash crew?...'
'The funds' can't go anywhere if they're not being created. One day the penny will drop. Or maybe not. 🤣
I have to say pickledpeck - that's not exactly a ringing endorsement of DEC and its BoD? More a hold and hope for the best (what most of us have little option but to do in reality) - but it doesn't shout out what a cracking share to be in - even at these severely depressed levels (I guess we need skiramp for that?). Still, won't bother good ole Rusty - he'll likely give himself yet more options and a bonus if it goes further down as he seems to have an inversely proportional reward system for the car crash crew.
Patience. Gas prices will recover by the end of the year and the sector will move as a result. I think / hope we should be thumb twiddling until then. You might see movement around xd, if the shorts see no more downward pressure then they may start closing but who knows.
Either way, this time next year Rodney...
Not sure his competence is worth discussing - he’s not going anywhere anytime soon so DEC’s future and his are wedded together.
More important question for me is what will it take to get SP over the £11 price? Next trading statement? Shift in gas prices? Reduction in interest rates? Increase in BBs? Decrease in debt levels? More acquisitions? Lower decline rates? Disappearance of emissions concerns?
Well folks, we are now in this brave new world (whether we like it or not) whereby the dividend has been slashed, the funds thereby saved are going to (insert as appropriate) - reduce debt? and/or acquire new wells? and/or fund BBs and/or fund higher salaries and bonuses for our good ole Rusty and his car crash crew? We are also now listed on NYSE.
Now one would like to think that all the above was done to halt and reverse the monumental crash in SP/MCap since August 2022 - yes? However, what we we actually seeing is the SP stalled around the 1070 to 1110 range (circa 55p in old money) and shorts increasing - significantly in the case of J P Morgan. Consequently, I ask the obvious question - is good ole Rusty competent or incompetent (his avarice and vanity are not in doubt). Discuss.
Meh.
Well GG - you certainly seem to have had a particularly hyperactive day today - perhaps it's time for 10mg of diazepam and a lye down in a darkened room for a while - at least until it's time for your next frenzied outburst?
P.S. Unusual way to end your last tirade by quoting from The Four Yorkshiremen sketch - who'd have thought you were a Monty Python man eh? LoL

Ok, clueless, since you asked, I'll open up a little bit about myself.
I believe there's nothing like a good glass of Château de Chasselas. I mean. Who'd have thought thirty year ago I'd be sittin' here drinking Château de Chasselas. In them days I was glad to have the price of a cup o' tea. A cup o' cold tea. Without milk or sugar. Or tea. In a cracked cup, an' all. And before I could afford my very first cracked cup, I used to have to drink out of a rolled up newspaper. And even before that, the best I could manage was to suck on a piece of damp cloth. But you know, I was happy in those days, though I was poor. Or perhaps it was because I was poor. My old Dad used to say to me, "Money doesn't buy you happiness, son".
'...My username 'Clued' is of little relevance really...'
FACT ! 🤣
As usual 'clueless', you're either lying, or have no grip on reality. I did indeed draw attention to the number of posts others had made on this board, but that was in response to them accusing me - either through ignorance or dishonesty - of posting excessively when they had actually posted more. Facts were on my side then, 'clueless', just as they are now.
Greygeorge, you've posted 5 times on this board today. I recall recently your derogatory comments criticising various posters for the high number of posts they place on here. You are the sad individual who hates his / her life. My username 'Clued' is of little relevance really, at least it's much shorter than many names on here to facilitate replying to me. Even though this is an 'anonymous' board, and I could be lying and I don't know your life's circumstances for sure (I have already said what I suspect they are and think you are very dissatisfied generally), but I am myself very content with my financial net worth. I don't have the wealth of some, but I have absolutely no debt, don't need to work, own my home and large garden, have ironically (v my net worth) relatively little need for expensive material things, eg cars, electrical equipment, fancy holidays, eating out regularly, etc... I have a car 20 years old (my old banger !!), enjoy the simpler and much cheaper aspects of life probably more than many who spend spend spend to try to make themselves happy and still aren't satisfied. This is me greygeorge and now it's your turn !! Are you able to open up even a teeny bit about yourself at all, I doubt it, but I am curious to know for various reasons not to be stated here !!
'...Diversified Energy IS THE BEST SHARE TO BUY AND HOLD.
Guaranteed rise from today !!...'
Sometimes though, clued, your sense of humour really does shine through. 😁
Pickedpeck, thanks for that, I feel more important already !!
Diversified Energy IS THE BEST SHARE TO BUY AND HOLD.
Guaranteed rise from today !!
Whilst these boards are full of ramper /shorter accusations which are usually nonsense these boards do have an effect.
AI based trading platforms incorporate 'social media' listening algorithms to judge investor sentiment. They 'listen' to bulletin boards, twitter/X, and anywhere else they can to add a investor sentiment factor into the trading algorithm.
So, posting here, on twitter, or wherever, about how miserable your investment is making you may well actually contribute to your investment getting worse. Really.
So whilst people posting negative sentiment constantly may not actually be shifters, they may be contributing actively to fooling the AI algorithms regarding investor sentiment.
Bear in mind what's public lags what's proprietary by a few years, but have a look at:
