Were has everyone gone every one's gone to ground?
Investors don't seem to be queuing up to invest. I didn't think we would be sat around this price after the PEA report. Must admit, I thought we would be sat around at least 18p, so bit disappointed.

When are we going see this push north? At the moment, I don't think even if they reported they've found a seam of gold, it wouldn't make the blindest bit of difference.

Not sure what happened with the rest of my post...

For LSE, read FCA with regard to daily declared open short positions
Personally, I think the topic of 'shorts' is overdone when it comes to small cap shares on some boards.
It seems a bit of a default argument when a share is not doing well, or the SP is somehow unexplainable vs where posters feel it should be. Often it is thrown about as an insult thrown at a poster with a negative view.
There is not a great deal of evidence to show that shorts are open - the LSE publishes a daily list of open shorts over (I think) 0.50% and it is virtually impossible for a PI to open a short position. There has been no historical declared open short here from what I can see and anything under the disclosure threshold would have a minimal impact, if any impact at all, imo.
While there may be isolated situations of shorting in the small cap space, and certainly there can be coordinated attacks of a share by a group(s) to short a stock, the question for me would have to be why on earth would anyone want to short a share with a MCAP of
No volume in trading today. There is something that's not right here, and we're not getting the full story.

Hi Vii- My question is how long do CM have to secure funding until the cash runs out ? Also could the drilling results from the Great Flat Lode potentially be a game changer or is this priced in from the results from the first 6 holes .
I appreciate your time snd insight.
Thank you

It wouldn't surprise me if one of the big outfits are looking at this for a takeover bid. After all it's a rare commodity. With the right money it's ready to go into production.

Seems the closure of this mine in 1998 was part of a strategy to rely on cheap foreign imports. Now that has proved mis guided it is time to spend loads of dosh and re open it. When it is back up and producing the management can then take a look at Port Talbot..

Securonomics "What chance do you think of the incoming government getting involved in this ? Is that a possibility?"
The re-opening of SC fits the current government's aims on several fronts - Leveling up, and addressing the critical minerals needs. So it is disappointing that SC has not had more help. This would be a project that the UKIB should and possibly has, looked at. UKIB's first foray in to the equity funding scene (Cornish Lithium) appeared to be a profit maximisation exercise very much at the expense of existing shareholders. Shocking. Given many of those shareholders were local pensioners, that first UKIB investment failed the levelling up agenda badly. But the UKIB's second equity funding (Invinity) appeared to be working with existing shareholders rather than extracting value from them - a very welcome change. Whether UKIB wants to increase its exposure in Cornish mining is unknown to me, but they would be the obvious candidate for quasi-governmental involvement. They were due to attend the Mining Conference, but pulled out because of the election, which may bring a change in their operating brief. Labour were making a lot of their aim to invest in growth in promising businesses - particularly green ones. Whether SC falls in their minds into the green category and the drive for net zero is unknown but it is often the case that politicians need to be briefed intensively before they understand the basics. So I think that it is unlikely that would happen this year - in time for the next funding round.
VII - Thank you for your excellent post, you know your stuff. What chance do you think of the incoming government getting involved in this ? Is that a possibility?

South Crofty is one of the highest grade tin Mineral Resources globally and benefits from existing mine infrastructure including multiple shafts that can be used for future operations; Now with a bit more cash from the sale.
Excellent. Should be a nice rise today.

I post on everthing linkable bubbles.....that's me job,posting links at £5 a time.lol.
Bubble2021
The problem with nominee a/cs - (required for ISAs) is that the company doesn't know who the shareholder is. Unless the shareholder proves to the company or ts registrar that they have a holding in the nominee name, it is difficult to include that shareholder in a placing for example. That is my understanding anyway.
I think it is well worthwhile voting against disapplication of pre-emption rights - but that is another story. It is well worth asking how to register your (nominee held) interest in the company with the company, I think.
You just don’t know what they gonna do with nominee accounts whichever government so buying them up in a isa account is safest option imho
Vii, evening many thanks am sure am rejoining a board very knowledgeable like yourself , I intend to buy shares on a regular basis building up a nice holding , nice to see Troajan posting on here shows confidence

Im feeling lucky today. Not very scientific approach but that's how I make most of my choices, on a wing and a prayer. Price of tin high and rising. what's not to like. Bought some at midday, didn't rock the market. Fingers crossed

It is the very nature of these types of stocks that there will be long pauses between news and the SP stays stagnant or drops as investors look for quick returns elsewhere.
We are still a long way off from production and need to keep hitting milestones in the interim as well as being prepared for more fundraising.
As posted recently, I'm fully invested but will perhaps look for some trading opportunities around news to try and increase number of shares hold. Will look for a double digit SP before considering this though.
Happy to wait. There is not much else to expect of management at this time, even an offtake may be a way off although we could be taken by surprise on this so always expect the unexpected.
All going to plan here currently, imo
Have you ever posted a positive comment on these chat rooms Ginger ? Give us a break !!!

I'm with you on that. It would be great to hear from the board with regards to funding.
I know we are in a a period of low expectation for milestone reporting but the price is getting hammered day after day.
A little bit of support from the Board would be welcome (unless they are in a period where they cannot 'buy' or help)
Any ideas on when the seller might be finished or any other info might be due such as the wide formation results

STRIP TINNIN JUST JUMPED 40% on battery deal. Goes to show what can happen. Crofty in Cornwall is a great play. Watch this kind of jump shortly.
The tin price has risen about 24%, whilst the share price of CUSN has fallen about 25%.
Given CUSN's South Crofty is one of a handful of projects nearing production in the next 3 years, you might expect a quite close correlation between the tin price and the share price. Perhaps as we get nearer and nearer to production the gap will narrow. This may signal a buying opportunity.
Another company First Tin (1SN) has also seen a reduction in this obvious correlation but to a much lesser extent as its share price has risen by around 18%.
