Just to be clear - what is expected in July is the culmination of the present process (indications of interest) - they are being done at present - expect CTL to announce resubmission of their updated ceol application in next few weeks. July should bring the confirmation in those which will move forward and those that can expect more rigorous examination. The expectation is that with the work done on the ground by CTL with the local communities that our projects will be green lighted for the ceol award which is then expected to take up to a further 3 months (ie; July green light for an October award)
Yes July is not that far away now, I expect to see the share price only building as the news release date gets closer.
“· It is expected that by July 2024 the Minister of Mining will list the salars where there is private sector interest in leading exploration projects for lithium production.
· CEOLs are then expected to be awarded by the State for these salars.“
I am more hopeful milestones in the next 8 weeks will change the picture positively. Good to see a few more positive investors popping up on the messages.
Enjoy the fish and chips, have to not worry about would could be, especially with exploration companies which CTL still is until it announces first production, the reality is we have been hit hard by the Lithium spot price and until this shows a steady rise or the CEOL is approved, I think we will hover around here. So who know maybe towards the end of the summer you may still be able to get it at this knock down price :-)
Sold my tiny holding this morning at 13.67p. A 14.4% profit between the 12th and 15th April. More an exercise in reading the market in CTL than making any money but it will pay for tonight's fish and chips. I have no idea whether the Lithium extraction will be profitable or not. I may look back at this share price in two year's time and see that its 136.7p or it may be..........
Gone green lads - Rerate commenced!
That’s a biggie fire! Explains why they closed at 14 fri. Mm now ready to move up higher I think
Looking at late trades this morning from Friday, another big buy has popped up, £38k at 14p!!

Quick decisive action taken on what caused the price to drop. What’s not to like! Whether Aldo knew what he was doing or not the companies taken the Right actions to protect shareholders.
It’s also worth accepting his lesser role as we maintain his valuable contacts in Chile.
Look forward to the next steps but in the meantime the sp should recover.
Ideal to see that UT fire! Let’s get back to 20p next week!
I knew that they had been holding this back all afternoon, UT 14p, never mind should give us a good start next week.
Steve Kessler driving the business forward, new CEO position in play, ASX going ahead as before, Aldo helping with CEOL and Chilean government liaison, solid stuff :-)
Ye3p that's right as long 13.12 holds and some more positive news we should be going up.
D.
I am sure once they resolve all the technical issues with Sodium batteries they will have their place, in 5-10 years :-)
Denby, as long ago as Wednesday and for weeks before you were repeatedly saying this was a strong sell and no one should buy as this was going down to 2p, as well as putting everything and anything here as a negative. And you were laughing at investors losing money.
Since then and over the space of just 2 days you have switched from strong sell to hold and now it is a buy.
I take it the graph is now telling you something different?
Push into close full offer paid!!
Looks very much like they have an ausy replacement in mind - that would make a lot of sense and likely they already have designs on who.
Long all day
Fair comment A new process has been discovered to more than double the range of current electric vehicles. Solid-state sodium batteries are also made of materials far more abundant than lithium counterparts. However until now mass production has proved to be difficult. Researchers at Osaka university say a newly discovered process could overcome this obstacle. Car maker Toyota claim solid state sodium batteries can offer a range of 1200km. Please make of this as you will
Hope you are not short this could be very painful for you ..
In that case Postman, may I suggest following the three Tesla gentlemen to DGI, worth researching that one, I have shares in both CTL and DGI
Nice find trojan
Maybe Aldo has seen the latest research from Japan suggesting Sodium-ion battery technology developed for future electric vehicles and felt he should make an early exit. I agree with Aldo
