By august we should be in the high 30 regarding the shares that is between Aldo Boitanos legals and the lenders.
As was stated on the conference call, Chile has been one of the highest regarded jurisdictions in the world when it comes to the government honouring its contracts, interestingly it was mention in a recent survey that the UK government came out nos 20 in the world :-)
I believe while the price of Lithium was a factor in the recent share price decline, it makes a lot of sense that the unauthorised sale of Aldo Boitanos 7 million shares by his lender will have had a significant downward pressure on that stock, I believe his legal team is now engaged to halt the disposal of the remaining 2 million by the lender, but we are nearing the end of that unnatural downward pressure...
Yes, looks like Cleantech is awakening. Nice to see this recovery and I am certainly holding out for the long term as there are multiples yet to go as this develops.
CEO Steve Kesler is hosting a live presentation to investors today at 3pm to talk about the DLE Pilot Plant Results.

Chart looks strong. Great story developing as well.
Another strong start to the day. 30p by end of week ?
SeaHawk - Excellent post!
This has always been my little concern. No Chinese walls in Chile.
They should really keep schtum, and just get on with it. Easier said than done, of course.
This company has a very fine line to tread, whilst we all want success, if it gets too successful the President and his happy gang in Govt will be all over us like a rash. Hopefully the board have an extremely good idea of will attract unwanted attention.
:) Placing was at 20p .About to see next 10 days if priced or not .
While these new tariffs on Chinese sources advanced products are likely to be in place over the coming 1-2 years, I noticed this;
> new tariff of 25% for critical minerals, up from zero,
anyone looked into the details and know whether this includes Chinese Lithium?
Could be very beneficial to us going forward...
This looks like a significant step forward in the right direction.
... another step closer to full investment funding likely before the end of the year :-)
A large part of the beautiful 70% increase is an over reaction to previous news. Think there's still more gains to come here and could level off about the 30p mark.
If it's priced in, as you say, then it's a very leaky ship. Which is par for AIM........
70% up in 1 month. it's priced in
Encouraging real news, and not already priced in...
Great RNS with pilot plant exceeding expectations. Farm out or JV could follow now. Enjoy the ride ☀️☀️🌱🌱
Excellent news and performance.....
SprintRS bumps in the road of transition are just that, I am heavily into Solar PV right now and if you think the Li price is troubling the cost per watt of solar panels is even worse. The bottom line with CTL is, as long as they keep progress to production moving successfully this will be a multibagger, buying in all at once on the way down is painful to anyone but if we are at the bottom then dolar cost averaging on the way back up will reduce the benefit but is of course safer option, good luck to us all :-)
My tiny holding of CTL has been decimated and I'm just glad I didn't have more funds available. I think having been burnt so badly on AIM shares over the past 12 to 18 months is to pound cost average a small amount each month rather than investing say 25% of your ISA in one share on one go. If I'd have done that with CTL I wouldn't be in the hole...now I have to wait/hope for a recovery and the macro picture can change drastically. I thought electrification would lead to high demand for Li, Cu and Ni but not so.
It's a poorly written summary of the RNS and even gets Aldo's name wrong (Mr Bonito) more than once.
Looking forward to updates (on the 21st) regarding the imminent news flow that we all know about. BWMM.
Does anyone have access to the research tree note from this morning? I presume it is just to highlight the RNS. I see CTL are presenting at the AJ Bell event on Tuesday 21st May.
My word,
There a lot of children ON THIS chat board I am supersized that my green box has not commented yet :-) . NON of you have any IDEA how I trade or where I put my money, So on conclusion I cannot see how you criticize a strategy guess you will go to play group now.
Reading this board for the first time?
Ignore the resident clown Denby, the company has a firm offer from German finance bank of £350million to construct the first project. All in good time.
