In it because you actually believe it's got real long term potential...or just for the trade Chris?
Likely to bounce from this level,
So reading between the lines of your ever -cryptic teasing ! I'm guessing that Allenby called you to offer more shares because they didn't have the full take up?
For heavens sake, just cut the BS and say, man!
Can't do with all this cognitive meandering, teasing and one-upmanship.
If you've got something to say just say it!
Tu es un provocateur, Monsieur OAPk!
In context, yes I would believe you if you said Allenby called - depending on your background and previous investment scale, that's how brokers work.
I know quite a few people on the brokers circuit from a few years ago.
So, if you said that, and using quite upfront (if a little oblique at times) , then I would believe you.
Why would I say I'd called Bill Behnke if I hadn't? I've said I got nothing basically. There appears to be only one person who knows he was in the Cayman Islands ..me. Call him or TM and ask about this for verification.
Calling people like that is no skin off my nose since I interviewed about 50,000 people over 17 years. It's a phone number, you ring it, and someone answers. Simple.
The only trick is the confidence to do it.
Lastly
“The Placing is not being underwritten by Allenby Capital or any other person.”
My question
“Anyone spoken to Allenby Cspital to confirm ALL their clients are happy to provide their capital ?”
If the placing had completed and the shares issued “11th April” would there have been an immediate RNS. If not would Allenby Capital be working the phones to fill any shortfall or discussing with clients the current share price in respect to placing price ?
One more thing. Where’s Neillin? Absentee silence.
Tech would you believe a poster who said yes I have or would you believe a poster who says no they phone me? Or would you believe a poster who says they’ve exchanged mobile numbers with “implied” a CEO ?
Or would you believe a poster phoning, for example, Bill in the Caymans?
Refer you to what I said previously, respectfully, DYOR. As you clearly do. Believe nothing, check everything.
Time to finish the Malbec.
Green... I think what OAPk is hinting at is that Allenby may not have had the take up and could cancel it under their terms.
OAPk for clarity. Have you called Allenby and , of so, what was the answer?
Cheers
Hi OAPk..yes, I get what you're saying about the 'mantra' on here, but I'm taking it you haven't called Allenby capital yourself?
I do tbh OAPK… 😀
- They placed at 2.1p 10 months ago, albeit for a lesser amount, and they are materially further forward…so not as if they have had difficulty raising in that range, and although the markets are weak I think they are an improvement on last year where you saw huge discounts in this sector (FAB, APTA etc…)
- I personally think they were caught out re the climb to 2.6p which I think was down to retail investors off the back of the Cizzle Bio link coupled with an expectation of the clinical test results being imminent. A week before the placing, the SP was sat at 2.2p.
- They’ve not declared who they have taking the placing but if we assume TR-1 admin is accurate, you’d think the funds are coming from a small base of investors…time will tell if we get a TR-1, e.g. doesn’t take a lot for Martin Lang to drop below 9% given he’s at 9.03%… you’d expect those investing are closer to knowing latest position relative to retail PIs (prior to the DT interview last week)
Just imho…
It’s a genuine question Tech. It’s all post positive but no questioning. As the saying goes. DYOR
Direct question OAPk..
Have you called Allenby up about this or are you speculating ?
(I did call them up early last week but no one answered- and I didn't follow up on it, got caught up in other stuff.. however that was to discuss more general things

Green “ if they had telegraphed where they were at, it would have sat comfortably with investors”
If CIZ had telegraphed where they were at do you honestly believe the placing would have been suggested at 2p?
Bron. 10% of nothing is nothing. Are you not concerned there has been no Result of Placing RNS ? CIZ said “ Admission will become effective and that dealings in the New Shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange will commence on or around 11 April 2024.”
So if there’s no RNS on Monday 15th April at what point do you become concerned about CIZ putting in an RNS “on or around 11 April 2024.” ?
Do you think it’ll be this year for a commercially viable CIZ1b blood test for Lung cancer or next?
Jam today or jam tomorrow. Anyone spoken to Allenby Cspital to confirm ALL their clients are happy to provide their capital ?
Ok chaps. Fair points.
I still have quite a chunk of shares, but I had too many for my own comfort.
As far as conversations , Green, I think we're on different wavelengths here. I always learn something from every conversation.
And if I have a thousand conversations and only learn a snippet from each, then the sum of the parts can be significant. Plus I enjoy talking to people and learning from people.
Anyway all I can say is that is my experience, and I was successful in my realm. Other people have their own talents and experience, but I'd always say be open-minded in every conversation you have.
Hi TT,
I think there’s a big difference between catching someone on the hoof and having a quick chat (and picking up on brief info threads as a result) vs expecting a call back from someone under NDA with a company this side of the pond, to call back a random investor, from Cayman for a chat 24 hrs later, but don’t think we’ll align on thinking there…
With regards to the last couple of weeks, I don’t think a lot has changed…expected a placing (if not using the E3 fund), the key part for me is that there was unnecessary self harm through poor comms - if they had telegraphed where they were at, it would have sat comfortably with investors (or at least the majority) rather than having a 6 month blackout, not keeping PIs informed, and the first comms is a placing…staggering naivety in my view and has damaged AS’s credibility, but I suspect he’s well aware of that after the noise over the last couple of weeks.
As a result, I think we’re probably 4-6 months behind where I thought they were. I had no expectations of it being in market quickly, and still think that could be 12-18 months away - the timescale between confirmatory data, insurance codes and launching shouldn’t be underestimated - but the material news of clinical data which I saw as a SP driver I considered imminent, but is probably 4 months away now (could see it linking into the timescales of the confirmed contract, but just a personal view).
I don’t think there is a lot of doubt that it has the right performance…they will have tested it on Jess multiple times already and know the figures are compelling, but the deposit of $100k will cement that view as any group of HNWIs aren’t going to stump up millions without knowing a concept is backed up by robust data, even if we aren’t privy to it at this point in time.
Was going to comment on the commercial agreement which I think is stronger than before but Brondby has commented already - the key piece here, and I try to be balanced even though you think I am very bullish - is that success after the clinical data is wholly dependent on the credentials of as yet unknown investors in the US. You would like to think Bill B knows the right people to support an initiative like this, and they’re not bankrolling it without having the capabilities to maximise market success, but without knowing their capabilities we’ll be somewhat in the dark…but that will be down the line from having the key inflections of signed agreement and clinical data.
I know, i know, i said that was my last post, but couldnt let that one go 😅 maybe this time...
Well TechT, you are the one repeatedly saying
"15% revenue has slipped to 10%" and ignoring the 10% equity stake in Ciz Bio, the funding of the US development and guaranteed min payments, all of which are very big deals for a company like ciz.
Who is the one ignoring "information before your eyes"?
Of course its not a done deal. But odd that you continually ignore that part of the proposal.
Ah ..oapk..comprende...will have a read.
Sorry everyone for off topic . Last one.
If you like Melon.
See the quiet one. Interview 29th
I “expected” that reply, Green!
If I had a penny for every time I’ve heard the phrase: “What’s the point, you’ll never get anywhere, no chance.” I’d be a very rich man.
Expectation limits outcome. I’ve had some great success in the past with “impossible” conversations.
It’s not just the words, but the tone and possibility the subject branches out into new territory.
Eg. Maybe I could have picked up something from him being in a Board meeting in the Cayman Islands. What company? Why there? That time. Then you can jigsaw build a picture.
I once had a conversation with a CEO who sounded extremely flat on the phone, and I ‘felt’ something was wrong. He quit that week. Did he actually tell me anything? No. But I learned something v important from his voice alone.
Is it “likely” I’d learn anything from Bill Behnke? I don’t know. Maybe BB would have talked more if he hadn’t called Ciz. Could I have reported on anything he might have said? I don’t know. But at least it may have been educational. And at least I tried.
The company has proven itself to be loose with the truth, it’s just shafted shareholders with an unexpected fundraise, 15% revenue has slipped to 10% , timescales are way off, still “negotiating” MOU, China pushed back.
But Brondby’s buying more, Green is just as positive, Jace , I assume, is still in Poundland fantasy land. And I assume Neil has now settled into a new positivity.
It just appears (to me) that you’re mostly acting contrary to the information before your eyes.
I have no idea where/when this is going now. Could be extremely good, could be very bad. All depends on the Behnke deal , timescales and the reagents/clinical trials data.
Hi TT…I’m not sure you’d expect anything different…
While Bill B might be working with private individuals, and there might be an element of naivety… Cizzle are listed, it appears they are working with Bio-Techne (US jurisdiction) still so will be NDAs in place that Cizzle would be nervous about breaching, 1) as they couldn’t afford the legal fees and 2) it jeopardises commercial discussions…
If he had talked openly…think you/me might have questioned professionalism etc… so an element of damned if they do damned if they don’t…
Pop across to REDX . I've left you a message
Hi Vinc..
Just a bit of background here.
At 11.30pm GMT Thursday 14 March, I cold called Bill Behnke (I was amazed that his present phone number and his past ones are quite easily found on the internet)
It's difficult trying to gain traction from a cold call - but I used to do it a lot in a past life. He seemed friendly enough and told me he was in the Cayman Islands on business and to call back the next day at 4 p.m. (GMT).. (Cayman islands 5 hours behind)
Although he was taken aback, he seemed quite amiable , and I thought he would expand on his initial two minutes conversation.
Between those two phone calls he called Ciz and Tim Metcalfe etc told him to shut shop. The next day I had a text off Bill behnke saying he was in a board meeting, but then sent me a general text - similar to his tweet about Ciz , saying he could not say anything more because of NDAs and confidentiality agreements.
I was pretty annoyed because when I then called Ciz they told me "you can't speak to Bill Behnke..you can't do this and that..."
I can talk to anyone who I like if I find their phone number, Ciz!!
Now I can't say anymore about these high valued investors but I think I would have got a bit further if Ciz hadn't shut it down.
I'm only speculating that Bill Behnke probably knows lots of HVI outside his firm , due to his connections. I'm guessing they have very big pockets - and they will need to to develop this, so they must see huge potential for profits.
But the overall picture I got was that Ciz are absolutely determined to control debate, control the agenda and only release news when they like it. (And that doesn't always appear to marry with when an RNS should officially be released)
And I don't like that.
