Hi all,
Still relatively new to the sector so not the best at judging these results etc. but seems to me very positive RNS!
I do have one question about one sentence though: 'Two drillholes, HDP001 and HDP002 were drilled for geological purposes, not with the aim of intersecting mineralisation and hence are not included in Table 1 below.'
What, specifically, is meant by they drilled it for geological purposes and not to intersect mineralisation? I would have thought the main aim for drilling is always to intersect mineralisation...
Does it mean, for example, they were testing their model to try and define the boundaries of the veins etc.? I.e. They were pretty sure there would be nothing there and now they've been proven correct they know to focus the further drilling inside those geological holes?
Could have been to support the scoping study - confirm some geotech data for stability, log any faulting, assess for water stiles etc. all these aspects would be fed into the mining options programme with costs associated in order to spit out a computer generated, non-bias mining strategy.
Further more, geotechnical drilling is usually a different process to mineral sampling so can’t always double up information on locations.
Thank you very much!
Love the witty username, by the way.
As I suggested RNS in respect of Hope has landed, again as has been suggested pretty good stuff.
Certainly now looks as if this mine is a goer!! now we await the agreement to the licence applications, CB indicated these should be a shoe in so no worries there.
The sp shopuls easliy double from here in normal times! as we know these are not normal, the market will now be watching for the financing plan to be announced which is now key.
Overall very satisfied with this project, however I like everyone else is far from satisfied with our silly sp!!.
Mr T
Yes MrT, with an mcap of just £6M we have plenty of upside from here with the range of potentially exciting/profitable projects imo that CB is progressing. Happy to hold/add on weakness...
DVH,
M/Cap not even 6M currently!!! which is extraordinary when you take into account we have the prospect of two inexpensive copper producing mines up and running next year!! oh and we can throw in a little Gold as well at least for Hope!!!
Once any news of financing appears then this will take off as nothing is currently priced in here, I suspect the m/cap only equals the cost of the projects with no added uplift for increasing the prospect to mine these assets, unbelievable really but asv we know the market operates in mysterious ways. Financing is therefore the key here for Hope! get that sorted and these prices will be history. Remember this is only one asset? we have multiple!
Mr T
Mr T - 6 mill mcap is nuts! unfortunately whatever you have in your portfolio its the same story. Market as a whole is very flat and this spread is not doing this any favours either!
Scipio, good name yourself. But I dont think BZT/Colin Bird will be 'conquering' any part of Africa soon.

Hey kwak, we know you're not invested here and, having lost money following CB, are a bitter ex holder. We all have knock backs but most of us take them on the chin and move on! Just leave us holders to continue holding/adding hoping our (misplaced? lol) optimism in CB bears fruit in a higher share price next year as our projects develop & progress. GL with your investments....
Bzt not the only ones finding gold in the area, this is a few 100kms north of hope.

im still not convinced that many of the 'holders' here are genuine- yes ive seen a lot of naive investors on LSE but even by this standard.

The Namibian government goes the extra mile to provide ‘clear and unambiguous legislation’ and make sure investors ‘are given red carpet treatment'
DV
The sad thing is, he is a holder!!!!
