Wow!
If you trace the numbers to 'an excited afternoon in May 2006', the CEO of a 'soon to be major healthcare partner' saying to 'a trusted leader of Byotrol', "Do not say anything until the NHS is in the bag". As soon as the phone went down, the advise was 100% ignored, the 'news' was shouted from the roof tops and the share price rocketed to 75p!
On a sad, misaligned, miss-managed decline ever since.
Today was the last trading day before delisting.
That last 3.6m sell was at 0.001p and only returned £37!! It looked like a desperate last minute sell.
The same 3.6m trade would have cost around £365,000 in Aug 2020 at the highs. I was warning of the red flags, lack of sales, PI rampers churning trades throughout the past few years.
£360k to £37

Read my posting history pages 8-9.
There was one poster, STTsBumbag, ramping and calling me a liar. See 'sales update' thread. I wonder why he disappeared? Wouldn't expect an apology from him, probably too ashamed to show himself.
Best to check everything posted on BBs.

DT has presided over the failures that have led to the fall in price over the last couple of years. It would be logical if institutional holders held him responsible and want control and him gone. However, this is all speculation on my part. They might just have written this off already.
DT's buy the other day was well timed. He obviously wants to delist.
If this gets to the vote then why would DT want to remain listed?
It'll be reputational damage to him if he doesn't go through with a delisting.
Unless of course, DT, put the statement out to entice bidders. Then he would be in profit with his recent buying.
Anyway
each to their own.
Applebee
is Byot a loss making company or not?
why they want to do a legger from AIM,
most companies spend arm and a leg to get listed on AIM and these lot wants to self exterminate the company 🤣🤣🤣

Byotrol's share price was taken down to 0.55p by those who were aware that a move to delist was imminent.
As usual, the market then totally over-reacted to the news, prior to the the current strong recovery to regain that level.
Every chance then that we will see another 100% advance sooner rather than later, for their is an urgent need for all players here to quickly secure sufficient shares to support their various competing strategies
Looking forward to watching this one tomorrow , up 50% or down 50% who knows not me and certainly not some on here . I’m going with up another 50%

I agree with you on this,
utter crazy buying this company when Management said its not viable to continue on AIM listed.
Traders taking their profits, and the newbies end up getting scammed and left holding the baby here.

Thanks tricky
With Spreads etc it was about 170% on the half sold
Really think for a bit of spice look at SND and for very safe as revenues /pipeline match the current market cap looks to A.I precision medicine stock PYC
Unlike BYOT at SND there is 6mths before the GM and the CLN holder has already offered a 10p per share fund raise
This article then appeared a week ago
It is emerging that Neuralink could be one of the
interested parties circling embattled British chip maker Sondrel. Recently it is believed that Sondrel solved some of Neuralink problems with their recent human brain implant which other chip suppliers could not solve. Neuralink Corp. is an American neurotechnology company that is developing implantable brain–computer interfaces, based in California and founded by Elon Musk and a team of scientists and engineers.
Neuralink had recently livestreamed its first patient implanted with a chip playing online chess.
By way of context, Sondrel is one of only a handful of firms capable of supplying the higher-spec chips required, others are in Asia but are considered vulnerable to Chinese interference
Not shy of a 3 bagger. for yaself laura. nice
Yes ...I'm in at 0.11p and intend to sell before the vote
Taken half off to buy more SND
Not surprising.
PIs buying few hundred quids worth, hoping a white knight appears before the vote to delist.
If this goes to the vote then it's delist or administration.

Is Amati resisting the privatisation of this company? Certainly, it's going on the cheap.
From their cancellation rns.
"that it is no longer financially viable for Byotrol to continue to trade as an AIM quoted business."
Therefore, if the vote goes against them, ie the company remains listed then, according to the BoD, the company is no longer financially viable to continue as an AIM quoted business.
Unless a white knight appears with a strategic investment.
Lukehere,
"All this talk of administration is wishful thinking by those seeking a rock bottom entry point."
Not at all. If this goes to the vote then I believe it'll be delist or administration. If the company stays listed then I'd expect the BoD to be voted off.
I don't think the current BoD would want a new majority owner who then sacks them. It'll save face by going into administration.
Next few days will be interesting.
I see Newlands have decided they don't want to continue to hold in a delisted company. If any shareholders had a good opportunity to stop the delisting it was the Newlands.
All this talk of administration is wishful thinking by those seeking a rock bottom entry point.
The coming week could well see the Byotrol share price spring to life; for there are several significant holders who will be seeking to protect the FUTURE potential value of their not insignificant investments.
What better way to achieve this than taking contol of BYOTROL via the lunacy of its current miniscule market valuation.
An exciting week could well await.

I purchased on a huge spread last week at 0.11p
Also SND in same situation but Elon musk firm Neuralink apparently making a bid
Number 4 on the leaderboard today @ + 33.3 %.
Number 1 on the leaderboard tomorrow ?

The company newsflow has been expected. I posted the company newsflow and warned about the red flags here.
If there's a vote then I think they will either delist or go into administration.
I think if the vote is against delisting then the BoD will call in the administrators. In which case investors would lose everything
There's a remote chance a white knight but will need to before the vote. Someone who may think it's worth bidding for the company pre-vote.
If they delist then there's likely huge dilution and it could be years before they relist, in whatever form.
It's a gamble. Interesting few weeks ahead.
Not long to go 0001
Yep
Shareholders done over again.
All to familiar these days ...
Agree 100%.
Buying at 0.10p is a no brainer. M Cap £400k
No problem with it being private or listed to take us back to fair value of at least 10X current share price.
Whilst there was no RNS today, It seems likely that we will see several issued over coming days.
Will Traynor increase his holding and/or will other BoD members purchase Byotrol stock at the current derisory 0.1p level.
Common sense suggests that other corporates must be assessing the potential on offer here at a market cap of just £400k.
Watch this space !
Watch this space
This was engineered, the update is not that bad and clearly being written from a half empty perspective. DT should have gone 5 years ago as he is not a business man and it has been visible in all the deals they have done ie medimark acquisition, licensing etc etc. The share price fall over the last 6 months has served up an amazing opportunity for management to acquire the business for virtually nothing. Visibility on the licensing deals is deliberately opaque. Yet another example of management greed and disrespect for shareholders.

Huge red flag is their severe cash shortage position and inability to raise cash.
The company's TU showed they have severe cash shortage and therefore are likely to run out soon.
"Our cash position remains tight, but is sufficient to finance current operations, assuming some noncore cost cutting, some reduction in investment, and expected and (in some cases accelerated)
receipts of cash from (already-contracted) IP transactions. "
https://byotrolplc.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/2023.11.13_Trading_Update.pdf
The assumption they mentioned in the TU didn't happen. So they are likely to run out of cash soon.

So how long would it be from patent to licence the IP....the same as Solvay and Actizone ? This might also influence PI short term investment decisions somewahat.
From patent to product is a long haul. This might influence PI short term investment decisions.
I asked Google AI Bard: are there any regulatory constraints in developing and selling these OTC products in the UK?
It replied "yes" and elaborated thus:
"Yes, there are regulatory constraints in developing and selling OTC products in the UK. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is responsible for regulating medicines in the UK. The MHRA has a number of requirements that must be met before an OTC product can be developed and sold in the UK. These requirements include:
The product must be safe and effective. The MHRA will require evidence to demonstrate that the product is safe and effective for its intended use.
The product must be labelled correctly. The label must include information about the ingredients, dosage, and directions for use.
The product must be manufactured in a compliant facility. The manufacturing facility must meet the MHRA's standards for good manufacturing practice.
In addition to the MHRA, there are also other regulatory bodies that may need to be involved in the development and sale of OTC products in the UK. These bodies include:
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is responsible for regulating food safety in the UK. The FSA may need to be involved if the OTC product contains food ingredients.
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is responsible for regulating advertising in the UK. The ASA may need to be involved if the OTC product is advertised to consumers.
If you are considering developing and selling an OTC product in the UK, it is important to contact the MHRA and other relevant regulatory bodies early in the process. This will help to ensure that your product meets all of the necessary requirements and that it can be successfully developed and marketed.
Here are some additional resources that you may find helpful:

Bladey,
"but thinking they may need to raise some cash looking at final results IMO"
I also think they will need to raise some cash soon.
Despite the biggest pandemic in 100yrs from which they should've gained huge cash, they still had to have a fundraising last August. If they had to have one post the biggest pandemic then I'd thought they would need another soon.
They raised £1m last August.

Before the close it was down to NT and at 2.1-2.3p somebody paid 2.5p for 399k so it was mm games the spike down because I was trying to get size and there was a brief quote at 2.18p but somebody took that and then bang the traders piled back in. Will be up first thing, guess you could wait for a shake and traders to sell first if you like the story
Nice news, but thinking they may need to raise some cash looking at final results IMO
