I guess this board is a reflection of the UK today glad I don’t live there.
No pointing posting anything on here
Blue and Nut you pair of dicks. When did this share last rise? Not this morning either.
Huh. looks like the offending post has been removed. Anti-disinformation software working better
Iparsnip … hope your right I may buy back in again… but I think you work in the same department as Dartron, ever trusted anything you put in any share chat, you mushroom!
Once again parsnip, you give everyone here pause to wonder about whether you are a bad actor. These are completely normal share incentive awards vesting for the management options/shares plan, so the shares need to be registered as part of the Company's capital. There is nothing unusual here and those shares are certainly NOT for sale in any way.
Seen recently, that the swing flu outbreak in China has began so spread with the first case now in the UK. Would expect a sharp rise in virus testing company stocks if it continues to spread. BATM will be well position if it does spread as Adaltis have a multi-respiratory PCR test which was launched towards the end of 2022. Something to look out for.
It’s been an absurd situation here ever since the end of the pandemic. BATM is a unique situation where they actually do enough regular business to fund their emerging IP. Let’s say you took all the research and development money they spend on this and added it to their bottom line then the company would be highly profitable. They had no problem topping up their investment with ADOR with a few million and incidentally increasing their % holding. Telco systems also sell sufficient mainstream kit to keep funding Edgility.
The value of their IP is not reflected in the SP at all.
Resistance as you know, BATM is well-positioned to experience substantial growth and profitability in the near future. The positive trends in revenue, gross margin, and operational improvements across various divisions, combined with the anticipation of increased revenues from key contracts, underscore the company's potential for exponential growth.
Their cyber division showed notable performance with revenue increasing to $13.3 million in the first half of 2023, compared to $13.1 million in the same period in 2022. Gross margin improved significantly to 51.2% from 40.1%, and the division turned a profit of $0.1 million, reversing a loss of $1.3 million in the previous year.
Under normal circumstances, with figures like these i think we would expect the SP to be a lot higher than current levels. Even with the horrible events ongoing, the market will need serious correction in order for BATM to be valued at what it deserves. Still holding but need to see some positive price action to boost my morale.
Mary I have been building too. But now have to park anymore buys due to other priorities. I have no doubt that in the LT this stock will pay substantial rewards. However it would be good to experience the start of the upward trend sooner rather than later for me to keep the faith.
Keep adding at these levels - it makes sense long term,
Thanks wiz… and I understand your position!
Farewell Nutmeg! personally i cannot crystallise losses so am holding on for the inevitable positive price action. When that is I do not know so must hold on in the meantime.
Thanks sensei, yes it is a shame, and I know this doesn’t mean much but I really do wish you guys all the best of luck. I really think that BATM should consider moving to a different market, where shorting is banned and investors can get some sort of return, they are also doing financially very well. It’s strange that there is no dividend even though it is double tax for us in the UK, I know it’s only a matter of time before the share price improves, but to me time is more than money!
There are several reasons without stating the obvious that Investors are shunning Israeli and other Tech stocks. When you can get 5% to 6% on your money sitting on the sidelines why risk anything. I referenced the shift in perception from IP worth to revenue growth and this is another limiter. If BATM are able to demonstrate meaningful revenue growth with the new technologies they have been developing in house with no dilution to shareholders, then we will likely see some action. It’s unlikely they will miss end of year expectations so it’s a matter of accumulating a few whilst the SP is so absurdly undervalued.
BATM companies are all located outside of Israel but they will nevertheless face some staffing issues at head office which they have already indicated they can work around.
Edgility have been making presentation around the globe and often with partners. The latest being Nov 7th to 9th in Barcelona. Edge computing solutions and the architecture to have them function is a buzz word in the industry.
Telco systems also ought to be making money out of Ethernet back haul systems which they have considerable experience with.
Cyber is another area that is very much in demand.
I agree with stock sense that the price will likely stew but the move will likely be extreme when it comes. The company is well financed so it really IMO is a matter of “when” not “if” and it may be difficult to even get stock as every few days we get a large trading volume above 1M shares which indicates to me that there are some larger investors taking shares away from the skittish at bargain prices.
Shame to see you go Nutmegmilk, I understand how you feel. Stocks like BATM need a lot of patience but it will be worth it in the LR. Fundamental value creation will work its way back to the shareholders. In my view, this so called delay in repricing to the upside just means the move will be even more violent when it does eventually come.
I sold out at over 20p (was a small amount )just broke even, it’s not batm fault they are doing everything right bringing in the contracts and awards for their products… but the returns as far as investors go is absolutely dismal and time wasting so I don’t see the point in holding even a small amount as it can make money elsewhere, I will, of course, still watch the share out of interest, that will probably go up now that I have sold as it seems to happen quite a bit lol, anyway good luck to all you holders you deserve it!
Does seem that way today
B A T M … bloody awful, trade manipulation lol 😂
Great analysis InContext, from my perspective Edgility and ADOR are were the alpha lies for BATM - value that has not been baked into the SP but at some point will become the driving factor for this stock.
One of the big issues with BATM share price has been valuing their IP. It is an integral part of overall valuation and the SP trended very much higher than today on the perception that they would sell either the medical or Telco arm for fairly large amounts. BATM decided to keep both of these divisions rather than sell them off which in turn means that the SP is judged on revenue more than IP. It’s now likely that the company will divest itself of non core assets and these will top up the coffers but not to the degree of selling one of the main divisions. So we have a situation that based on pure revenue the company is still undervalued by some 70% according to Simply Wall Street and fundamentals analysis. If Edgility and ADOR start generating revenue it will come on top of these fundamentals sales and you have a whole different ball game.
Pleased to see a bit of positive volume. Maybe have turned the corner. Hope further contract announcements keeps this momentum going.
Short term price movements, they have been manipulating the stock for over two years, they must be running out of a free float…check out the trade signals!
It's clear that the company has demonstrated positive trends in terms of revenue growth, profitability, and the development of new revenue streams. These are all strong indicators of a healthy and forward-looking business.
The suppression on the SP of BATM is criminal but it did seem like it was trending upwards before certain events occured. When a company like BATM maintains its fundamental strength and continues to innovate it would be impossible to say that it won't bounce back
It's important to focus on the company's long-term potential rather than getting discouraged by short-term price movements.
BATM's revenue growth, profitability, and emergence of new revenue streams are v positive. Although, market sentiment and shorters may have suppressed the SP, history shows that such situations tend to correct over time. With adequate funding and new technology on the horizon, BATM appears well-positioned for long-term success. While short-term fluctuations may occur, the potential for new contract announcements makes this an attractive LT investment
