i remember this board was full of chats when Boo was 200 p...
why is this going down like a rock?
I’m holding but it’s not exactly a jewel in the portfolio…
Give a dog a bad name. Won't be satisfied until they've bombed it into the dustbin of great British failures. Constructive destruction. Of course, absolutely nothing said about the despicable employment, marketing and trading malpractices of their Chinese competitors. Unbelievable, yet not. How come the ASA aren't going after porn sites for objectifying women?
RoyGa, Old news. The shorter's and their chums in the media had this nothing story across all publications. Sums up the UK. No wonder many investors no longer invest in the UK.
SteMac77, that is a judgement call that only you can or should make.
Hi Guys, I have 2000 shares in Boo, so only a small investment, I was in it for the long game but things are going south.
Shall i sell today or hold?
Need some general opinions.
Thanks
Any future information ?

i dont understand why the trades yesterday showed a large spread although their seemed to be plenty activity...
See some larger than normal Buy trades this morning - could be the shorts closing or new buys coming in. Whilst Boohoo have been certainly overvalued these last few years - this low price is probably about correct given the recent press although I think it is slightly overdone. 100-120 is in my opinion fair price,.
It now depends on their strategy in UK and in USA - and only if these deliver , will the SP rise to maybe 150-160, but i doubt it will attain the heights of 300+ for many years to come. I think 150-160 is realistic and achievable this year - but if they get the strategy right then who knows. Holidays are coming and so will the upturn in retail spend.
Fredster-You are spot on. They will never be able to compete with Chinese on line. Media always exposure (finding issues ) Boohoo but ignore Chinese company. Boohoo needs to look at Next and follow their strategies. Online and shops click and collect ti provided difference from Chinese.
If you look at the reluctance currently in the market to pay high pe valuations then I think it looks a lot less like a bargain than it seems on the surface. I have been in and out of this share but currently remain unconvinced it will get back to previous levels over next few years. It also has to play catch up on the international side compared to others but I could be wrong so all the best to those invested.
slowly getting to fair price but still overvalued.
Don't bet against someone coming sniffing around with a bid at this price
Would hold for 0.65.....
i have been watching sp with a view to buy...cannot decide like many..dont expect to pick the bottom..but not confident ..maybe hopefull..if i look in a few days will sp be nearer 75-80...or does this low sp just need tackling ..on the basis of the good fundamentals and wait for the sunny uplands..
Same (or similar) SP
Then: with revenue of "only" 12.732B and Earnings of 1.00 (2016) and
Now: (5 years later) revenue of 97.5B and earnings of 3.84
These metrics taken from Trading View. Shows how the market works.
Where is the bottom that is the question?!
