Sounds like you'll have the opportunity to average down next year though, or just sell up.
Not a chance.
MA had his disciples to spread his bullsh!t on these boards. Seems now AB has assembled his.
Any chance of reaching my 50p (old 5p, btw) to get out with a little sanity ??
If you want to know if Colin attended I suggest you read the post on BMR Watch.
Also, the BMR Watch Committee are not legally liable. If you want to know my credentials, head over to BMR Watch and I will be happy to discuss with you on there.
Last Friday we had a meeting with all of the BOD at BMR. A summary the questions answered and what was discussed has been posted on the BMR Watch website under the discussion tab.
All confirmed members of BMR Watch will be able to access this document.
It's possible that Borrelli will take shares in lieu of payment. When I spoke to him a few months back he said he had not taken his salary for a while. Now that we have some cash in the bank he will probably take it though.
"We can’t get away from the fact that BOD salaries have to be paid"
why?
Directors in other companies often take more shares in lieu of salaries-and more than justified in BMR case..
"Mr. Borelli did tell me yesterday that it was necessary to make an acquisition in order to relist because simply owning shares and receiving royalties did not meet the requirements for listing"
Which really bolsters the belief in many PIs minds that the whole de-listing thing was cynically engineered to allow the BoD to pretty much do what they wanted without having to consult shareholders.
We can’t get away from the fact that BOD salaries have to be paid. What matters most is that our overheads have been reduced now that we are effectively out of Zambia.
The next important thing is to build a successful business from here. Let’s face it, we’re back to square one and must start again (again). Our biggest saviour will be the Royalty from Kabwe. What happens in the meantime is anyone’s guess.
We still own 15% of Star-Zinc for now but I suppose it’s a little pointless saying ‘look how good GLR’s drill results are, but we’re still selling our stake at a reduced price’.
It’s funny how we have agreed to dispose of the 15% right before GLR enter into negotiations with JLP for the off-take agreement...
"used to keep the company afloat" - sounds really daft and fills me with positivity
NOT!!!!!
Is there a tweet on GLR. I thought we had no tie with them now
".....will be used to keep the company afloat."
{trans.} "...will be used to continue paying BoD salaries"
Viginere - nice to see a bit of healthy scepticism from you today. Keep it up.
The only difference being that in this case it's the company itself taking action.
Can't see that happening with BMR.
Turkeys don't, as a rule, vote for Christmas
See FRR RNS today. Court action against Director failing their fiduciary duty to the company.
So barely 1 month after we virtually give away our remaining interest in Star Zinc, GLR announces great drilling results.
What's that smell??
Vig, here is...

Price is climbing steadily whilst we are steadily sinking - everytime someone on JLP board says "Kabwe is worth millions to us" is like a hornet sting on a sensitive part of yur anatomy.
After all these years we still find ourselves clinging on to a faint hope that someday we may get some pennies for our shares in other words - in 10 years nothing achieved on any front other than showing AIM is ruthless for small investors.
Raises more questions than it answers. So typical of Borelli to provide such scant detail.
Who was it? How much was it? Are there others to follow? How much would re-listing cost? Acquisition? What's that all about? Is he about to use shareholders' funds to buy an asset then give it away again? What is the point in acquiring an asset? Or is the DD due diligence for an existing asset? He has shown himself on several occasions to be incapable of realising production and shareholder value from assets.
So much detail missing. All allowed of course when you've just de-listed a company.
Interesting tweet....
We have been successful in one litigation pursuit against former management receiving funds in settlement to be applied in DD for an acquisition and re-listing
Surt, you are not going to get answers on here. If you really are a shareholder and really are a member of BMR Watch and really have signed in then why don't you ask your questions on the Discussion Forum? It is not like you are shy at coming forward or airing your views is it?
mike, if you want to see terms and conditions for BMR Watch, I refer you to the info page on the website where you will find the document called 'BMR Watch constitution'.
Again, if you'd like to know what we have planned and what progress has been made so far, sign in and take a look at the discussion board.
