Two funds over 5 % in last few days... enough said,
Looks like they first went long in March 17
:-)
Sand Grove are an event driven fund, so they are probably expecting some sort of takeover/corporate action. 2018 is gonna be interesting...!
Another one acquired just over 5%, WHATS GOING ON ??
Not really, its just the way it works, they sort of guess it according to the price paid. if someone is lucky enough to get a good buy price it will often register as a sell and vice versa,
so damn corrupt
Yes that is correct they are almost certainly buys but this happens all the time and I t is irritating as it may encourage some to act but it can happen the other way too with sells shown as buys.
so you saying they arn't actually sells??
Just thinking the same 107,072 to go. they seem to be in short supply
The 250k on the bid earlier has been broken down and being executed at 33p - shown as sells! This will carry on for a period but eventually it will move upwards at a pace in my view.
When ( if ) we do go into play, it'll be fantastic to have some serious opposition to Cockup. As we're drilling Q2 we'll be due some juicy RNS's in the near future. Maybe the FFOMO herd will arrive, so what will Cockup do with a rising SP ? -- hold and wait for a 3rd party buy-out ? or will they launch a bid themselves before the assets are fully proved up. It's good to know NewBod will be kept honest by OldBod looking over their shoulder at every move with microscopic attention to detail....... One of these years ......
If anything I might make COC increase their holding to take control, just to stop any action from anyone else in the coming months.
As soon as the drilling dates are announced or FID.. say goodbye to the 30"...
If your right the maybe COC are going to have competition
They have been on this now for quite some time.. paid 31, 32.5, 33, 33.5 everyday, weak sellers letting them get them. looking a the shareholding now the free float is small.
I can see it but how do you know its them ?
Back in again with a another 250 k on the bid.. holding price down to get executed... you've got to love these algos
There is no way BLVN is going to merge with VOG... maybe a few years ago, not now..
So what's going on here, why would any institution / broker now buy 5% of blvn when it is now just a shell and plans to hand back cash at some point. Also vog has just had an rns about an American broker / institution buying 5% for the very first time. Is someone taking an interest in both these companies to perhaps put them together?
The notification requirement starts at 3%, not 5%. Possibly relevant, a 5% + shareholder has the right to call a general meeting of the company under s303....
That's how I read it could be an interesting day. But as I said earlier if it is a new investor is it for them, or for someone else we're more familiar with?
Hmm you're right they are claiming no prior position. Interesting they went over 5% deliberately by 0.001% - so that they would have to provide a notice?
If you look at the holdings list I posted, there has been a lot of institutial buying... For your ref Merrill have been buying the large clips over the last few days.
there is a list of holders further down page 4 I think I cant se them on that list
