Could they be happy to keep the SP low so that when the reverse split takes place the new SP will be low also and perhaps get a boost afterwards? That's my hope anyway. The government would be foolish to sell their 14% at the current price. Congemi keep up the good work. Howth
Does anyone have a clue what's really happening BKIR? It's turned into a smoke and mirrors affair
Call ur broker!
so the old shares i held for last year trade at different price where do i find that price Please
Dublin was trading at .226 London quoted. 2225-.2275 Hit the bid at .2225 slamming the brakes on any momemtun. Am I right?
I would not touch this there has been away too much unexplained and unusual price performance and however ior whatever is causing that will not disappear overnight, it will take years.
New issue
Are shares released now linked to old AIB shares or a new issuse at different price
Trying to figure is it a good time to top up on BKIR and LLOY. Obviously different dynamics come into play wrt these two banks. Starting to look very tempting for BKIR... With LLOY, Brexit is a big spanner in the works! They also have a complete spanner as PM! Not sure how long DUP/Tory alliance will survive... My grandmother said, "If you sup with the devil, be sure to use a long spoon".
That's the maxim that I grew up with - the second line was buy again in September. Will not be looking in for a couple of weeks or so, because we are having a clan gathering in North Yorkshire for my youngest daughters wedding. Hope Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay will be the same afterwards and that we can get a decent pint. Everywhere seems to be selling home brew these days around here - thank god for my Guinness - as long as it's looked after. I am relying on you all to be still around when I get back - will light one candle for X4 - for his continued good progress. He can light one for me when he gets to Knock later this summer. Good luck all.
Or no.. I still can't see us holding .22 until the 14th of july...
Everything so correct advisers seemed to be worried about shorting(banned inGermany)'but for us small people that pay all our taxes it's not supposed to be problem Do not speak for Ireland, can see why Jeremy Corbyns here In G B moves to front line Have spent some time recently to get defeniotion of deleted Shares the answers I get are not for people like me but come to think of it I might be stupid but it's not what you think either G L A
I am all for topping up at this low price but don't do it because your man has the inside on a special divi
Roll on! Thanks, actually think I'll put my hand in my pocket tomorrow to top up and lower the average.
Better chance of getting one AIB share for every BOIG share held. But it would be great if it happens it just won't
July 14th Francesca McDonough is finished at HSBC this week and has been in offices. The know about Blackrock shorting but hands are tied Got the impression they are looking to help the stock price around the reverse split..possibly a Special Divi
When is the consolidation due to happen? Not soon enough! We seem to be be in a different era here, like 2011!
I am assuming that the some of the big boys who bought AIB are not allowed by their own rules to buy BKIR because it is when all is said and done a Penny share. When the consolidation is done and the price becomes circa 7 euro i beleive we will see some jump up.
Bought a sizable chunk on Friday, lets hope there is support @ .22. Low volume today as mentioned,
I urge people to make phone calls!!!
Miniscule volumes today. Banks across Europe flying today. What is this b@#&ocks!
0.226/0.22 is the number to watch> at some point the market will focus on different valuations. AIB now has annoyed a lot of investors so that sp going one way, will Bkir also rise to minimise the gap. The earnings difference in Ireland is circa e200M that should be a e2bn difference, not e5bn. There is a e3bn gap to be narrowed, it will be.
.. small investors were allowed to purchase all the AIB shares they wanted... however.. 1/3 of the big hedge funds were not allowed to buy any AIB shares for fear of shorting.. thus.. they were clearly identified.. the govt must have a blacklist of these investors .. identified.. access denied.. very interesting.. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/financial-services/thousands-of-small-investors-spend-average-of-46-150-each-on-aib-shares-1.3131659?mode=amp
.. recent article regarding AIB. and BOI.. AIB is valued at 12.9 billion with the recent sale.. this is the magic number they were looking for.. as for performance.. AIB is not ahead of Boi.. balance sheets.. nim.. writedowns.. profits .. are about equal.. no reason at all why BOI should be valued in the stock market at 7.5 billion.. Boucher has not protected the investors.. nor the pension funds.. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/markets/a-year-after-brexit-vote-european-and-uk-shares-diverge-1.3131513?mode=amp
I don't think it's his prerogative to get involved in the daily trading of the stock. It is however to improve the balance sheet and it looks like AIB is beating it on every measure that counts.I think Boucher has been asleep at the wheel for the last 3 years. I think is time for a 'Times Letter'
