Am, it's been a bit dismal for me for a while. No weekly harvest, bought my final 200 shares at
1.66.
Reading whatever I can, it seems most banks are down in or around the same percentage, so the much maligned 'shorters' had an easy run on the way downwards.
I can see how unease creeps in when one is under water. Fortunately for me my break even price is 1.86, lots of long term members have much higher b.e.p.'s
Have sent some more dosh to Degiro.
Will see what the morn brings
GLA
Hi fatboyslims, I sold this morining 1.69 again bought back in 1.60.
Why does it take so long to send dosh to degiro?
It hit 1.58 - I would hold back from buying anymore at the moment, its not going anywhere yet. it will probably fall again in morining 1.52 bottom
Skinnarney, I like your witty comment.will see how things pan out.strange times
Only in jest. We dropped from 5.15 due to Covid so let's hope for that again. My average is 4.55 so will average down when funds allow.
Bought 2,000@1.55 Thurs or Fri..now up.will wait and see
Sold the rest i bought friday. ( still got my long term holding)
Markets or well up, but this is very slow moving up!
Thats a very nasty chart - Did u take your profit fbs?
Looks like a final bear flag to me on the daily since March. Most likely another test of the 128 low with a run down towards 100 as stops are taken out. There will be a lot of buyers waiting there.
Patience will be rewarded.
Best of luck to all,the darkest hour etc !
Am pretty sure the only way to see 1.28 again is some type of a 9/11 attack. The question is will it fall to 1.53 again
Just took a very small punt.
Silverhorse, in answer to your post at 8.58, No i did not take my usual 100 euro per tranche(i.e. 200 euro available yesterday)
I am all in at the moment, i rather like the idea of waiting for the next sally on 2.00 and gain almost 10 shillings on each share.
I currently own 15,000 shares via degiro. Most of us on here who have given their opinion ,reckon the share will be over 2.00 again, so i am not worried ,though i had gotten used to a weekly harvest.
In case Icarus` thoughts re a drop to 1.30 becomes a maybe, i had better do a transfer to degiro, to be ready.
In case of a doomsday situation, i wont buy more at todays prices, though I am certain they would bear fruit.
Regards,
Having refused 180euro net gain, am back down to the price I bought at. How many times do I need to learn, never turn away profit
Its holding up not to bad - another fall 1.57 then back up close 1.64
Right, my last purchase was 2k shares at 1.555.
A week ago sold half at 1.65 .again of 80euro after costs.
Today I sold the other half at 1.758. A gain of 180 euro net.
I have no idea of what direction the share price might take, not much profit for me this month ,other than cash released by above sales,am all in in Birg, at higher prices than today's.not too worried about that. Chances of me losing long term are slim.
On a separate note I bought I00 shares in Ryanair. am up 120euro net, cannot see them going higher in near future, or even long term
GLA
Looks like i was right up to 1.81. (i should listen to myself) Am certain it will fall back around 1.64
What goes up must come down - if it hits 1.79 half my long tern holding is gone
Up 20cent in 2 days. impressive - Another good profit. holding my other half firm.
Good prediction on the 1.81.Silverhorse.
Have you anything for Aye, or Exeter tomorrow?
Just put a £100 bet on kamala harris to win 100/1 . My prediction will come up trumps!
Took 100euro profit some days ago.Back in now @1.85 and 1.833
I knew thare was a 80% risk fall under 1.90 - but i took a little gamble. Got my head cleared ready for action. Fall under 1.80 60% risk. I did buy more 1.83.
Right folks, its good to have something to post re profit.
Sold 2k shares ,bought@1.83,sold 1.93, net gain after costs approx 150 euro
Sold 1 k shares ,bought @ 1.833 ,sold 1.933 net gain aprox 76 euro.
I had tried to sell these at 4.45 p.m. yesterday, at less profit, just to get some money in the till,
fortunately de giro would`nt let me.
