Good point draft , eco is good but if makes no profit then its not wanted
but all these guys have to do is use the word
1. starbucks in a rns
2. or do something to fight covid
they havent done either so far
no one in the stockmarket cares about planting trees in my opinion
Lots more buys than sales recently and the spread is smaller. What's happening to make that happen?
why i bought so many of these, not happy.
are just so thick - its not even worth answering
sharp pointed mask is the new fashion , anyway in year or more we could be in a better shape.
So holding long , lol most of my shares are long
Hello Draft - what do you mean by mask angle, please?
lol what, they need to come up with a mask angle or this is going nowhere, simple as that
Yep if price drops then will buy , target 3 years to be good
Long term as always
this whole thing has been a mess so far. needs serious improvement
Nothing to write home about. Slowly growing. Another 65% revenue rise and we'll be getting close to double figures this year.
Looking forward to the trading update tomorrow and especially its traction within the Bioplastics division which is gaining good momentum with important new contracts signed, particularly with US-based customers, there is a growing interest globally in the substitution of conventional plastics.
In the last update they mentioned a potential second US customer, this would be significant, lets see.
“The Bioplastics division is working with an expanding list of potential new customers, particularly in the US. Developmental work related to this continues with some vigour, despite the impact of Covid-19. In particular, the implementation of a filtration mesh project with a second US end-customer has moved forward assuredly and initial revenues are expected later this quarter.”
Think that's why we are stuck , need a CEO that's not too involved and makes logical desicions
BIOME needs an entrepreneur running the shop. Unfortunately, Mr. Mines is not an entrepreneur or a very good salesman.
BIOME has continued to place their products in the R&D mode, which does not make money.
Flexible films and other bioplastics in BIOME's research phase never seems to reach the sales room. France is crying out for bioplastics in supermarkets. BIOME uses potato starch. So get round all the fish & chip shops and collect potato waste. Chip shops have loads of potato waste. It's free.
BIOME need a sales team, but can the CEO produce the quantity?
New article posted today on the biome website https://biomebioplastics.com/using-trees-to-protect-trees/
Sounds like the development is going well and is moving from lab testing to the field, partnering with Scottish Woodlands, Woodland Trust and Tilhill Forestry, who would be presumable be big customers of the finished product.
I think success in this project could have really interesting implications for other products, a plastic that is broken down by soil bacteria after a few years could be used in many different applications
I share your frustration on the speed of progress draft. It's a very small company. I suppose they only have the resources to pursue so many products at any one time. For what it's worth I'm very excited about the tree shelters. I don't think anyone else is working in that area. Assuming this next test is passed it's a huge market that BIOM could monopolise.
small steps draft , problem is flexibility and that's where Biome need to find a partner to change the bio plastic from brittle to flexible.
Hence why its good in coffee pods , heat no problem and does not flex.
ok basscadet fai r enough but even Symphony made a anto covid plastic killing surface material whereas Biom have sat around planting trees again
Yeah sorry draft. I could see announcing a mask providing a hype based sp jump but that's about it. I just think there are so many companies making masks now with every large customer will have existing contracts with supliers coupled with the fact it would take ages and cost lots of money to develop that they wouldn't get something competitive to market before COVID has passed. Versarien is a case in point. They've brougt out probably the most effective mask outside of a respirator. It's anti-viral and anti-bacterial, reusable and fully N95 certified. For all that it's pretty expensive. There's no evidence yet they're selling many but I will admit we haven't had a proper trading update since they were released.
RMS was making a virucidal mask and they did over 1000% rise. anyway so BIOM cant make any biodegradbale mask then according to the poster below
eh? they are making money hand over fist. its a cash printing machine the masks
