Just seen this on my X feed and was encouraged by it.
Looking forward to the update as I still have my entire holding.
Good luck all !
This is not the message that a company puts out when it is about to give the market a nasty surprise. It is in fact quite the opposite.
Yep looking forward to a very interesting 2024.
Thank you Qd22 for your kind words. I expect the company to deliver the market consensus figures they have published on their website. If the numbers are going to be materially different they would have been obliged to inform the market. So we are in for a Happy New Year !
I would just like to thank everyone for being positive, and especially pensioner167 for his detailed analysis, and posting the results up here. It’s useful for people like me who are not good at that stuff. :)
You’re not wrong. Despite the recent rise no one has missed out here. SP remains dirt cheap on any measure. It would take something very strange to check the underlying inertia of this business.
Love the fact this is relating to US tech campanies, agreements with three of the five largest and has a huge growth story to play out.
Just brought in.
Yes good to see, it’s been like watching paint dry for months, although I’m always suspicious on large swings in the share price for no clear reason although you could say the same for the decline in the share price during spring and early summer, let’s hope we can get back around the 230 / 250 range ahead of the market update early in the NY then push on towards the analyst target on the full year results and updated 2024 and new 2025 forecast
Some huge transactions today, looking more like buys than sells - maybe someone looking forward to a good year-end update and stonking 2024 forecasts. Some upward momentum at last!
Just to try to cheer everyone up from the IC :
“ The 2 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Bango plc have a median target of 322.17, with a high estimate of 334.78 and a low estimate of 309.57. The median estimate represents a 92.34% increase from the last price of 167.50.”
Boring is good - inertia is with this one.
This must be the most boring investment ever.
I have a feeling this going to be a damp squib come January and we'll be stuck with massive bid/offer spreads for another 6 months
Fortunately 161.5 - 160 here.
The gap between the ask and bid is enormous here. Does it look like they want punters to sell and not buy? ??
Thanks Pen167
Mybundle appears to be small start up and looks to have potential with some interesting partnerships to help extend the Bango DVM tentacles over the coming years
I am putting together a log of all these unexplainable drops and forwarding to the FCA. Small investors are possibly having their stop losses slapped to accommodate who?
So a 10,000 buy at 8am does not move the price but a 10000 sell at 1043am drops the price by over 3%?????????
Are these genuine sales or are they stop loss grabbing?
They seem to want bring this down slowly , slowly for no logical reason.
Worried that any good news in January will just reset it to around the £2 if this keeps dropping. Surely BGO IR could offer something before January even if it is to announce signing up another TELCO
I thought the Write up very good. My particular interest is in 1. the 2023 year outcome and 2. what to expect for 2024.
1. We have been told several times, the revenue for both Bango and Docomo for the year is split 40/60 with 40% of the revenue earned in the first half of the year. The reported revenue for the first half year is $20 million. On the split 40/60 the second half would be $30 million and so the total for the year should be $50 million. Docomo brought relationships with additional telcos to Bango, such as America Movil. They also brought additional merchants to Bango such as Shopify. There were similarly benefits that Bango has brought to what was the Docomo business. I shall be disappointed if the broker projections of less than $50 million are not exceeded by a country mile.
2. When it comes to 2024, there has been a lot of uncertainty and this has resulted in conservative sales projections. The June 2022 a deal was announced with a ‘Global Tech Leader’ assumed to be Apple. It is supposed to start delivering sales in 2024. Bango is very restricted in what they can reveal about this deal. After the announcement Bango started to recruit developers at a rapid rate. If you look at the intangibles in the accounts you will see that Intangible assets have gone up to $33 Million in June compared with $27 million at the 2022 year-end. This increase is probably all development costs which Bango would not be allowed to capitalize if there were not related future profitable sales. There are also negotiations underway which will lead to more ARR as more companies licence the DVM software.
Thanks for the link.A good article.
Bango is on the crest of wave now the spade work has largely been done !
PP thanks for sharing that .
Why is this stuck in a rut share price wise. Is it under the radar?
