I see what you mean Sooz, but I feel it can be read either way. I'm looking for that snowball momentum in our good fortunes anyway, if and when we receive the licence, so whether a partner is almost all but sorted prior or not, it is essential that Kurt brings us timely news of a positive nature following the award. He's had an abundance of time in which to formulate a suitable plan of action, and sound out any major players that may be interested in taking on Kallak. Hopefully his front door is hanging off its hinges, with all the pounding from potential suitors.. I do wonder if the concession will be the key to unlocking the vault crisply, revealing an immediate array of lucrative choices, or whether Kurt will still be j j j jiggling the key awkwardly for a fair while after the award, not quite being able to access the beautiful black gold, because nobody is there to help give him a lift. Lol. Afty aft. X #WD40
I think Beowulf bought other sites so that top management would still have a job when they sell Kallak after concession award. It made sense to use their spare time working on searching for other good prospects. I think buying Kosovo could be viewed as a sign of confidence in the Kallak outcome.
Hi Ed. I'm not sure about that. Kurt and Göran both did bring shareholders an early excuse last year, that the Swedish elections may delay a decision. The Government did have our application (again) many months prior to the election, so I personally feel Kurt could have pressed for an outcome prior to the election. Only my view, but as it turns out now, all final comments on our application have been in for a year or so, which effectively then, means an election over a matter of a couple of months has hampered our further progress for an entire year. Then he granted himself the Options, which is normal of course, but due to last year's write-off, I feel was very badly timed. Lol. I'll touch also on the surprise of Kosovo, though won't expand further on it, but that little play happened to be a large percentage expense for us, when we could have saved that cash. So, Kurt still has a way to go in order to improve his performance, in my opinion. He must ensure performance on our behalf this year is significantly more robust. On we trudge matey.
Yes, (“until and after”) fair value is what KB wants from any potential partner! Only the concession granted offers potential partners (more than one) coming forward. His position is clear – no quid pro quo, because all options remain open (number of potential partners, and the law if need be). In my opinion only. atb
now that moneyam has gone down the pan, can anyone suggest a site that gives similar free info?
I read Aug's post to mean all options are open until and after the concession has been granted....though obviously there are no options before it is granted except potential options. I wouldn't 'entertain the view if it has been expressed that the concession will only be granted if a deal with an operator has already been done.
Morning Aug. Interesting last post, but I would say that if and when the concession is received, surely more options are then open, as in, after the licence has been granted? Not only until it has been granted. Unless you feel Kurt believes it won't be granted without an operator of the project simultaneously having been sorted. In which case, any further options are then closed. Not sure why we couldn't receive the concession and use it as a bargaining chip to gain the best price possible, from those suitors wishing to be involved in the project. LKAB is convenient of course, but would a State miner offer as much as a private company? Only my thoughts, and I feel Kurt will no doubt be wearied by our saga, but I must trust he will have the necessary grit left to chase a premium deal for us. Even if it's with crappy old LKAB. Lol. Have to see what unfolds. Cheers Aug.
A spot on post.
I'm sure that Kurt has done and will continue to do all that he can do to get this show on the road. He doesn't deserve the flack that he's been getting regarding his efforts to get things moving
He is the son of "Old King Coal" the man who owned British Coal so I'm sure that he must have a few bob in his back pocket, some of which he will surely have invested in BEM. He will be as anxious as we are to see this share take off.

Guys, thanks for your comments yesterday. Best wishes.
In the absence of a concession, there are no options. The concession is all.
In my opinion, it is only interest from LKAB which is permissible to the government.
Morning. KB’s position is, all options are open for BEM, until the concession is granted. That is the only, and correct approach to negotiate fair value for BEM, regardless of deal type or other names involved. We have no idea at all as investors, if this approach is in anyway responsible in part at least, for the delay. If (if) it is, I would consider others to be wrong. We should not forget that, LKAB are not, the only Company who would undoubtedly be interested in Kallak’s future. Imo only. atb
Of course, none of us can know what conversations Kurt is having.
However, his last stated strategy was to wait and see, 9 months ago.
Given the sixth anniversary is upon us, and the final piece of the jigsaw is all the company has to deal with, I can come to no other conclusion but that, as CEO, Kurt is not achieving what is required of his role.
Whether anyone else could achieve more, I am not sure, but he is in charge, so he must change strategy or face an indefinite wait.
To the Swedes, the passing of time is just fine and dandy.

Their SP touched 1.010, on 564,658 trades so far.
They are much nearer to what's going on than we are so I'll ignore the doom and gloomers on our side of the pond and just wait patiently for the big day which I'm confident will come soon. I hope it will as a large chunk of my wealth is tied up in BEM. If I lose it my next stop will be the divorce court. !!
Evening. lbjj, you wrote …. “The pattern is established, fixed and not about to change, unless LKAB are brought to the table, for the only way to avoid the indefinite delays continuing ad infinitude.” …. KB, has publically stated, that all options for BEM remain open until the concession is granted! Evidently, you believe that he has the wrong strategy. So then, would you like to make the argument(s) as to why that is exactly, when he is in possession of all of the details – the driver for his policy, when all of us are not in possession of such. atb
must admit I got used to knocking off 1 and a bit off the sek for a gbp price - but interesting to note that the pound has risen significantly against the Swedish kroner since Christmas - it was worth 11.3 kroner then - now it's 12.34 - hence the 8.1p. Good news if you want to holiday in Sweden but not so good for us as it means the SEK price has to rise that much higher for us to benefit.
Yes, I completely agree with you about Eric. He is very good and clever guy indeed here with the balanced view and I truly wish him all the best.
Battle hardened, dour individuals. ;-)
O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie us. To see oursels as others see us! It wad frae monie a blunder free us.
Well maybe some clarification in my limited understanding of this 'Swedish shares' connection.
I have understood, or have been told, that ALL the share are listed in the UK and that some have been purchased by Swedish people via some organisation(bank?) called Aktie? and are stored in a bank somewhere in London.
So how come there is this 'shadow market' that tries to 'trade' share at a different price to AIM's?
How is the 'balance' between the UK and Sweden set and maintained?
Or more simply put "What the %^$$^* is happening?"
Tintin’s comment was pointless, inaccurate and irrelevant as are most of his posts.
I maybe should also add misleading...
1 SEK is 8.1p so not that far behind Sweden atm.
Not sure where you got 9p from?
Ha Ha!
One of my heroes is Lord Reith, whose mission when setting up the BBC was to inform , educate and entertain.
I try to follow his example by bringing some balance and the occasional smile on this board.
Sadly, most of the few remaining long termers are now battle hardened, dour individuals, who, at least publicly repeat the curiously unbelievable mantra of the concession is about to be awarded, without a hint of evidence to support that view.
6 years next month. 2 years since Suzy2 accepted a bet that the concession would be awarded by May 2017 - ha ha.
Tintin constantly posts rubbish about it being awarded this month. It is all hogwash. The pattern is established, fixed and not about to change, unless LKAB are brought to the table, for the only way to avoid the indefinite delays continuing ad infinitude.
Saying nothing is always an option, Manro. But that would leave an echo chamber for the rosy tints. That would be unforgivable.
I exclude Eric Draven, by the way, who is an admirable gent, who I waist nothing but the best.
Buddy you are continuing write here your comments without taking in account there this is the site, where as one of one of posters put it: Very serious investors have gathered. And you are trying to explain something to these very serious investors. Sorry, but you probably just do not think how serious they are indeed (well, maybe except of one beer-lover charlatan and one witch). Just imagine if they were not so serious, could they have invested money and have to wait ten years for them to bring some return. And precisely because I understood how serious investors are here I decided stop writing comments here and want to advise you to do the same. ATB
we are waaay behind Sweden a the moment - back up to 1.00 sek which is about 9p... Sp here is 7.5p.....
Yes you did Googs, and I take your point re low entry points, but of course, this has been enabled only because of an almost six year wait for a decision that should have come five years sooner. So, Kurt must surely hammer that home, our Company's mistreatment by the authorities, in any negotiations. Bearing in mind, if it is a deal with LKAB, they can be seen as an extension of the State. Another month or so without news and I'll be making us a birthday cake with six candles on it, so that may keep us going. :-)
Sure they would prefer it to be owned by LKAB and in the beginning I thought LKAB were the 'natural owners', but I've changed my mind.
