Not sure if you know 3card, but we do have this investment in a Kosovo project, by virtue of our investment here in BEM: http://www.lse.co.uk/regulatory-news-article.asp?ArticleCode=ryj7o39h&ArticleHeadline=Exploration_Investment_in_Kosovo
Perhaps we should sell up here and invest in Kosovo
What's to discuss? 'Bout sums it up really
Thank you Sooz re Per shaping. Lol.
Yes, let's hope that they aren't only just talkers, but also doers. A country torn apart by war now trying to recover, so there may potentially be more meat and meaning behind those words Sooz. One would think. Another Swedish-style action vacuum on the back of a verbal diarrhoea affliction, well, that doesn't bear thinking about. Lol. Afty. x
Always happy to oblige.
Had a feeling you'd rise to the bait :-)))))))
Eric's analysis is good...Ahl to Baylan ...we just need a bit more patience. Ooops reall sorry!
Hope those words are not as empty as Sweden's Mining Strategy Mission Statement has turned out to be
Yes..Paul Aim and since you told it last time, it turns out that they not only have freezers they also have dishwashers for which they go to the supermarket in their cars to buy washing tablets (environmental friendly ones).

The Kosovan Minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani, has stressed the importance of the mining sector as the most sustainable way to develop the country’s economy.
“Kosovo is ripe for investment in the mining field, as the country has underground assets that can be used,” Mr Hasani told the audience at the Mining Sector and Mineral Resources Kosovo-Albania conference.
“Kosovo has taken important steps towards creating a good environment for doing business and it has made progress in economic growth, creating many new jobs,” said Musa Shabani, chairman of the board at the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals. “It also has advanced legislation especially for investments through the Law on Investments for Public Private Partnership and the Law on Strategic Investments.”
I have to agree with Ibjj's post today at 09:56.
I can assure you the majority of Swedes feel alienated, frustrated and angry by their Government's approach to immigration. Having worked in that wonderful country many years ago I share their angst.
IMHO, right from the start of the delays, this was all about appeasing the Sami. If they allow the scum element of immigrants to run amok do you really think they will risk upsetting an indigenous group of people?
I was going to post a documentary type video here but decided not to as it was far too depressing.
I really don't know where this leaves us to be honest, I suspect ultimately legal action although that's the last thing KB wants to do and would probably cut all ties with Sweden.
Hey, on a brighter note, has anyone heard my Sami's bear head in a fridge story? :-)
Does anyone know where there might be any jobs going? (Mining industry experience preferred).
Sweden’s unemployment level rose again in February as job growth slowed amid a cool-down in the Nordic region’s largest economy.
The labor force grew by 5,000 people to 5.5 million in February, roughly matching the growth in employment, according to seasonally adjusted and smoothed figures.
The jobs report offers mixed signals about the strength of the economy and comes on the back of recent data indicating a slowdown. Consumer confidence is near a six-year low amid a drop in housing prices and turbulent equities markets.
Prime Minister Stefan Lofven’s government faces pressure from two centrist allies to ease labor market regulations. The IMF says Sweden should find ways of boosting employment levels among low-skilled workers and immigrants.
The central bank aims to end negative rates by the end of the year, but weaker-than-estimated inflation is raising doubt about the plan
Scary times Treetop.
That's more of a serious social issue lb. Different area from ours, but it does highlight that the Swedes seem to take the wrong approach to many things. Yes, particularly noticeable when an alternative or even the correct approach is not adopted, seemingly because it may offend certain minorities within Sweden. This at the expense of the majority of Swedes of course, who must feel that they are being overlooked. In our case, those Jokkmokkers and the wider, who want and need the mining jobs, but the focus has been more on the Sami, who simply don't or won't entertain the idea of any compromise for the good of their countrymen. It isn't great. That's why this must be a legal decision. But it's just taking too bloody long.
All about virtue signalling lbjj ,wring your hands in anguish with guilt and lash out at big business to gather praise for protecting mother earth.Preen yourself as long as others like rich investors and the ordinary public pay the price with rapes and jobs. Simples.
Maybe that's why he's quiet. Lol.
Morning son,
The swedes are great at posturing and terrible at expediting. The worst possible combination.
Lofven’s latest waffle last week stating we can’t say how long these decisions take just exemplifies this. If he can’t say, who should we ask?
Here is an irony for you to consider.
Sweden allows tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to wander around Sweden unchecked, committing serious crimes and mugging, raping and murdering innocent citizens. The police are instructed to play it down, don’t record the crime, and the mainstream media collude to present a false picture of integration of harmony.
BEM come along, invest 77 million SEK in the future prosperity of Sweden, do everything by the book and get treated like crap.
Discuss.
I'd want to do a proper job, and if it required more than a month to do that then so be it. Per would be informed accordingly, including as to why it will take longer. I'd also be unhappy that he'd publicly spouted off prior and he'd be told about that as well.
Yes, and if someone said that either to or about me immediately after I was appointed, I'd be wondering just who this person thinks he is. Lol.
Was full of brave words when Baylan was appointed, stating he would give him one month to get himself up to speed, then he would expect a decision on Kallak.
The month is now growing into two months and Mr Ahl is strangely silent...
Mornin' me old limpet. Yarp, still all quiet for now, so see you next month then. Do pop in too when something happens though Mickey. If you can bear it.
Aktie up Aktie down. Aktie shake it all around. Government this and government that, see you next month! Another.....month of nothing.
Nighty. x
Yes, true. x
