Good afternoon, Gentlemen. Yes, lol, exactly. :-)
If what cat dragged in" is the one that I'm thinking of he was one who sometimes posted in a false sounding Swedish accent and other times in perfect Queens English. He was one of what I referred to as the unholy trinity. Each time one of them posted, the post got two instant recommendations. Coincidence, who knows ;o)
Afternoon. Judging by both, what North Kallak has to offer many, and the detail that represents the objection, then, a refusal to grant the concession could also be described as a nuclear option. In my opinion only. atb
:-))))))))) Or a drag act !
at the AGM Kurt described legal action as the "nuclear option". So there you have it.
Afternoon. (Good post Eric) Gentlemen, yes I think we are in agreement. Let those that have the facts, deal with the facts. The process has had its failings, and that is most regrettable. If the concession is denied, or there is further unwarranted delay, then Budge and his team would have to consider what action is appropriate, in light of the new circumstances. Just look what the cat has dragged in, once again. In my opinion only. atb
Thanks Eric
Lb is just having a rest. I'm sure he'll be back when we receive the Concession. Even if being back simply means a shaky voiced "Well done all" phone call from his rest home, as he approaches his 109th birthday.
Fair comments.
Ibjj disappears after years of negativity and a day later Manro reappears when we thought we'd seen the last of him. Perhaps they are a tag team?
dornod, you must have heard about the Stockholm syndrome, when the hostages begin to think that terrorists will not harm them if they behave peacefully. Moreover, the hostages sincerely try to get the patronage of the invader. The hostages often perceive the situation so that the measures taken by potential rescuers are likely to harm them. And attempts of salvation can turn the situation from the tolerable to deadly dangerous. Kurt and all Bem investors today are practically the same Stockholm hostages, which proceed from the principle, however worse it may be. At the same time, without even realizing that the worst has already happened and nothing can compensate the 5 years and money that were lost, much less their nerves and health. It's really sad to watch all of this, but the French say C'est la vie. And the Russians - "hope and wait". And they are waiting in the hope that the terrorist Putin, who seizes the whole country, will not harm them if remains as president. But this terrorist is killing and killing them without the end even abroad. And the whole world is just looking at probably thinking not to make the situation for the Russians (and probably for themselfs) even worse.
Morning aug. I share your sentiments as I've always considered litigation as the absolute last resort if for example the government were to refuse the permit. I feel that any litigation or even threats of litigation due to delays would be counterproductive and I'm sure that Kurt's far too sensible to do such a thing. The number of the old faithfuls seems too be dwindling but I'm here until the end game however long it takes. atb
Morning. Kurt Budge, in his recent submissions to the Government, has told us, and the whole world, why he thinks that the concession should be granted. Further, he has made clear to everyone, in some detail, where he thinks, some in the process are responsible for its many failings. This man, along with team members, are in ongoing discussions/negotiations with most, if not all of the players involved. They are in possession of the many facts, and are positioned best, to deal with those facts as they are presented. Only those who can negotiate well, will not find themselves involved in any legal action. If you believe that politics, is responsible for the many delays, then taking on a Government Ministry at this juncture, is no guarantee whatsoever, that politics would remain outside of the courtroom, its deed can, deliver a miscarriage of justice for example. The contents of BEMs final submission, would suggest to some that, Budge has more control outside of any legal action triggered. In my opinion only. atb
I dont hear much laughing, but, if Im not wrong, some have cried off and many are close to tears!
Yes, you've got two choices...laugh or cry.
Understandable how you feel about this, it is dull at the moment, but never say never. If the Concession is granted later this year, you know how well this share could then potentially perform. It would be a pity for you to miss out. Anyway, best wishes. Cheers lb.
I've enjoyed reading your posts, shame you won't be around to see this through. Enjoy your time away from this farce, all the best.
History and the future! Who said it would be a quick result? But it better than no result!
What's stirred this rebellion? All of a sudden we're going to court, like that will be a quick result, and Suzy's turned into mwilliams41 You gotta laugh.
The law I accept is lengthy, but at least we would get a decision, which is the most important thing. No self respecting business should be treated like this, if the other side have it their way this will never get resolved, it IS time for action! I will be as patient as I have been over the nine years Ive be here, Im going no where thats for sure!
And adieu then, Ibjj..thanks for your input and have a nice spring and summer. Dornod....The Law is not fast. Just a little bit more patience is necessary, hard a
Ah, the curse is lifted.... Anyone wanna bet the licence will be issued tomorrow?
IT IS NOW TIME TO TAKE THIS TO LAW! NO MORE DILLY DALLYING! LET GET IT SORTED ONCE AND FOR ALL!! COME ON KURT, WAKE UP!
Sorry, but I have come to the conclusion, after countless false dawns and 5 years passing with no sign of progress, that this is dead in the water. Just cant see anything ever changing here. Im gonna leave you guys to it. It has gone so far beyond boring, I just cant be bothered with it any more.
Hi Aug. Well, I would say that it is in our interests as shareholders that this saga isn't allowed to drag on indefinitely. So, while a potential legal case may be distasteful, it is a possible option that must be considered, and I would trust is being considered. In our interests. Just a whiff of this in the air will hopefully be enough. And so we wait. Best wishes.
