Viveka, thanks for you post. This would imply that the probability of get all three approvals is high, it is just a case of being patient.
Viveka, Thank you for he links

It looks like the 3 approvals are:
1. Ministry of Commerce
2. National Development and Reform Commission
3. State Administration of Foreign Exchange
It mentions China’s "One Belt, One Road Initiative”, which the Ganfeng investment in Bacanora is ideally suited to.
Taken from beltandroad.news:

According to the Chinese Ambassador to the Latin American Nation, Zhu Qingqiao, his government wants Mexico to join its One Belt, One Road Initiative.
As United States (U.S.) President, Donald Trump, keeps dealing tariffs to key economic partners, undersecretary of Foreign Trade from the Mexican Ministry of Economy, Luz Maria De la Mora affirmed on Monday that Mexico and China can band together to face upcoming international trade challenges.
“Mexico is a friend and partner to China. We know that with China, Mexico can be stronger, and with Mexico, China can be a stronger country too,” the government official told Chinese representatives at the Forum of Economic Cooperation and Investment between Mexico and China (Guangdong) 2019 held in Mexico City.
There is a risk and reward scenario with any share. If consider the investment case:-
1. They have a mine with a low cost of production, approx 4000 dollars.
2. A long life mine
3. A major player to potentially partner with.
4. Analyst have a price of at least one pound.
If consider why not to invest:-
1. Still two approvals to go
2. There is still a finance short fall, do not know how much until Ganfeng do their assessment ( September I believe).
If any body else has a view on investment analysis would be interested to hear
@Sjb777 "But would add in my view the selling is due to profit taking, " Agreed those who bought in the lows can still sell with a good profit. Perhaps they waited until the last RNS in hope to make even bigger profits Most probably they will buy back when the price starts moving up again
Chinese enterprises need approval from The following to invest in foreign companies.
1) the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC)
2) the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM)
(3) the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE)
We currently have number 2, I have no idea how long it would take for the other two approvals.
But would add in my view the selling is due to profit taking, KDNC selling, and concern about the share price falling. If there were any news good or bad would not company not have to inform us via an RNS.
So can anyone give me a valid reason for me not to be snapping up these low prices?!?
I mean what sort of news could be in the background for making BCN bad news now?
this drop is absurd if it is on the bureaucratic formalities of Chinese sign off as some suggest - and the relatively small volume seems to indicate that. 55p was obviously a stepping stone up, but I guess that leap will just be higher now. The fundamentals don't lie. Sooner BCN is off the flaky day trade mindset of AIM and onto the regular market the better. Patience will her way be rewarded imho
Of course - everyone keep buying to help Islandgirl sell? Oh wait no, you were buying on Friday? mmm. Hard to keep up with these constant ramps and perfectly timed movements in and out.
Closing out on the lows of the day it seems.
Its only short term then.Hoover them up
it has already gone through, if the government has approved, thats pretty much it. but this fall is due to him to never telling us of the 4 stages
Wgaf as long as it goes through
where did the other two stages come from, maybe withhold information, if you want to be precise, market likes transparency. he had done about 4 different interviews, 2 RNS, i think 2 conferences, it was always one stage, re government approval and ganfeng signature, now its gone to two more stages
That looks like a terrible idea -- I cant see how that will recoup your losses -- sitting on your hands would have been better !
Did the other ones get the sack?
Bit late lol
JT Energy Systems will be taking over the former Solarworld plant in FREIBERG to create “the largest European production centre for batteries and charging systems in intralogistics”

Deutsche Lithium GmbH is a Joint Venture of SolarWorld AG i. L. and Bacanora Lithium Plc. with HQ in FREIBERG
-> Could be a perfect symbiosis
So, rather than watch a 50% loss on share price value I have joined the Barrick Gold band-waggon, to recover losses, and will wait for Bac share price to stabilise. Assuming news from Ganfeng end of month? On a Friday?
The position with my KDNC shares is now 'lets ride it out as its not worth selling'.....
There are some nice chaps on that KDNC board, but I fear for their capital .. a lot of them have been invested for years and just watched as their capital has dwindled with most averaging down. There just seems to be no nadir for Cadence - terrible, terrible board and a portfolio of distant and far flung investments. I felt truly liberated when I sold my shares there and I think a lot of them could benefit from doing the same.
How did CEO lie to us ?
no paid derampers, CEO lied to us, simple as, market doesnt trust
Some over on the KDNC board are saying KDNC are de-risking ie trying to make out the BOD of KDNC are actually clever at business !! What utter tripe...
I concur..some paid de rampers here too.You know who you are lol
"And it cannot sustain NPV of assets in the billions, on this type of market cap, forever. It might just involve more setbacks before we see it."
If you use the past as your guide then your last line is a certainty in this economic climate. When you think this was 14p in March 2019 and £1.49 in January 2018, we've been on a real proverbial roller-coaster ride. Irritating, but par for the course.
