... does BBB have now? Probably now time to cut losses.
https://www.reuters.com/technology/amazon-secures-83-rocket-launches-its-satellite-broadband-network-2022-04-05/
After a few days of SP rises, it's good to see BBB back on its customary downward trajectory.
No one likes sudden radical change. < head in hands again >
Great results. This is so undervalued.Simon Thompson of the Investors Chronicle has done a piece on the company this afternoon. He has a huge following,so expect buying to increase near term.Could easily be worth triple this s.p.,as low P.E and money in the bank, not to mention huge growth expected.£1.80 is my target price..
"The Board is focused on maximising value and returns for shareholders and the combination of balance sheet strength, favourable market dynamics and opportunities available to its business units provides a strong backdrop for delivering enhanced shareholder value."
Ah, that would explain why the SP plummeted nearly 50% since the RoC < rolls eyes >
... a BBB director or PDMR snapping up shares in their company now the share price has fallen to its lowest ever level, please let me know.
TIA.
You're sure doing your best to find out, BoDs, aren't you!
Could you please advise who within your company I should send my bank account details to so you can take my money directly? It'll be easier if we cut out the middle man.
Kind regards,
SFH300
The service outage (curtesy of Viasat) can't help.
Ho hum. Tomorrow's another day.
... is the only apt description for this stock now. Thanks, BoD.
I note they're limiting individual sell volumes to 27500.
First 25,000 gone through! Can see this at 47p, by 5 March .
On todays lack of news and sp drop, I am about to offload the 500,000 shares I own over the next 48 hours! Had enough of no news!!Out, butGLA all those who hold long and I am sure over 18 months you will see things turnaround?
Hits the nail on the head - appalling is one way to describe the stewardship on the part of the Board - perhaps they think they are unaccountable - visibility is needed rather than silence
This is just appalling. The BoD, though I'm sure also busy with other things, CANNOT allow shareholders to be left to suck up such losses without a single comment or explanation. Significant shareholders such as Oryx International Growth Fund (11.14%), Hargreaves Lansdown (5.89%), etc, should be pressing them hard for some explanations. A few buys this morning, sure, but all low value and all due to the 11% drop today - not even close to 0.1% of the sells of the last few months.
That's an interesting turnaround from what you said on Sunday, Pete. I hope it wasn't my posts that created the volte face, but, as you say, the silence and, for me, the bland PR-style mid-year statement and sell-heavy volumes are not giving me confidence. GL < thumbs up >
SFfH300, I hold a significant amount in BBB, but I am a little worried on sp, but also lack of any new news on strategy, planning and future divi, or acquisitions or sales, maybe why some MM are selling?? Not sure, if sp doesn’t tick up very soon, I will be out and dump over 500,000 shares!! The CEO and BoD need to get a grip!
Right now - 69,000 sold, 291 bought. This is typical. I think panic - or pessimism at least - is quite reasonable with this stock.
Where are you getting your information from about how well they're doing in Australia, NZ, etc? Because all I'm hearing is silence.
SFH300 stop panicking. BBB is doing well in Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Denmark. Plus their satellite and broadband work with U.K. and US governments , is slowly slowly catchy monkey. With huge potential for more acquisitions and sales, this year and next year as they deliver, expand and consolidate on all fronts. This sp will tick around 70-75p and bounce to near 85p around November time!
Hold and give the BoD and CEO, plus the workers chance to deliver!!
... I think we're all going to lose a packet on this stock. 99.9% of transactions are sells, with many large value ones. Any buys are small, even tiny. With results period coming up, I feel the company's silence is suggesting there's no good news on the way and most are cutting their loses.
With Amazon & Boeing getting in on the act, I feel your latter suggestion is the most likely. Their appearance in the field seems to have rendered BBB silent. And with so much selling but little to no buying going on, it's a concern. I can't afford to lose much more on them.
BBB will do well over the medium term. Their satellite and fibre broadband in Australia and New Zealand and Norway/Finland will grow, gain huge clients and profits. Then probably more acquisitions and sales and more large divi’s. Plus maybe even being acquired by another Sat company or telecoms?
No one seems to want to talk about this stock any more.
There's been an awful lot of selling and very little buying for weeks now. I guess There are fewer investors around to care now.
My worry now is that I'm going to lose an awful lot on BBB. My only hope is that the BoD's silence is preparation for a fabulous announcement in the next few months. With Amazon's Project Kuiper and Boeing getting in on the act, it's not looking good.
And now HL won't let me sell more than 1500 shares.
@HeartInMouth
... pulling out.
I feel we should all be bombarding the company for some explanations.
