You contribution has all the hallmarks of scaremongering. Vaccines have saved countless millions of lives beginning from those launched by Jenner.
I have no problem whatsoever with bad news or that I might have invested in a duffer (I am no stranger to picking lemons) as i tend to pay greater heed to those with a different view from mine. Without facts to support your contention, I shall ignore you and add you to those that I have filtered. Should compelling evidence emerge that my decision is incorrect and that I may have tarnished your reputation in some way, please accept my apology.
The public are turning on all those that made vaccines for covid. Lawsuits are being filled and coming for AZN and the rest.
nowt to do with manipulation, just weight of money,
sloshing back & forth as folks try to go with the rotation.
red, black, red, red, black, red, red,
red, black, red, black, black. (etc.)
Buy 'to sell ratio is almost 4 but so hardly moved above flatline all day. Similar story yesterday and it declined. I see £59m but UT trade after hours. Lot of manipulation as this stock has fallen 10% in 3 weeks with no news.
Good time to buy. The SP has backed off a bit in the last two weeks but the long term trajectory is still solidly upwards, as always with AZN.
I have purchased a handful of shares today in a SIPP. This is only for IHT purposes as events have conspired for me to be rather aggressive in my future planning for the inevitable.
Would wait for a big dip to buy more though. I’m waiting until March to consider buying more ROCHE play the CHF too, and possibly AMGN too.
MY BEDT pharma’s
ABBVIE
AZN
GILD
NVS
VERT
GLA
… not so ‘cautious’ today…
weird how all pharmaceutical business sp’a are failing in € and UK.
Earnings Feb 9th
This has potential to explode in 2023 and finally leave GSK like dust.
& now a little sister chunk, cheers.
seems market still attempting some cautious rotation out of
defensive big pharma into more optimistic recovery plays.
Time to buy ...11200
& bought that little chunk back.
Criminal law suits will come to companies like Astrazenca and Pfizer.
and obvious, it will help my FTSE short though so it's easy when it's this transparent..!
Cincor swim?
A smallish deal at <1.8bn….so far their dealings have proven good decisions, esp Enhertu and Alexion has made pipeline progress……hope this adds value in the medium term.
sold a small trading chunk, but
happy to remain decently long
from a 2023 / 2024 perspective.
Sliced a further traunch at a slightly higher 11,600p went strait threw at 9am .
No need to raise funds now , just sticking to the original idea after the Atlantic CDF tip 22/5/2020 which was meant as an extra short term trade .
Two thirds of that sold back now .
Can not see any evidence I tried to slice at previous August 2022 AZN peaks .
More surprising around 5th July 2022 when looking for sales , and this was then at highs , was much lower by the October 2022 margin smaller calls .
As sponsored by the Sunday Times.
When will UK learn they are not the best at everything.
Sliced at 11,4000p
Was short on funds once again during run up to Christmas due to weak markets from the summer of of 2022 .
Any progress from lows of the summer short lived , but Ft 100 resisted new recent lows after mid October .
I read Ft 100 was level on the year from January 2022.
Selected this one to sell if a return to year high of £11.40 and placed a GTC order 21/12/202 .
logged on and saw 8.30am execution today .
Market in London ( Ft100 ) starting 2023. 1.60% up :-)
The last buy here 25/11/2020 @ 7850p
Doubled up on 22/5/2020 at a higher then previous own choice buy, trying out a 8845p Atlantic CDF tip .
That might of been OK for one month until June 2020 , but it then fell way back to bottom at 6900p by 5/3/2021.
These guys do not know much more then anyone else .
Short term trading will lose you money I heard last night , by a Nigel Farage detractor
JP Morgan like others in the game must start buying before tipping it .
Thank you. In meanwhile, I have bought in similar size chunks, shares in 6 other equities and 2 investment trusts. Am holding back cash of a similar amount and will review holdings with brokers and advisors in January. I hope to be fully invested by June 2023 but it rather depends on how severe recession is in America.
sorry to hear that about all those family funerals. hopefully
2023 will have some better things ahead for you and yours.
Spikeyj, having suffered 11 family funerals this year, my portfolio fell over 6, though not quite 7 figures, I find myself landed with after IHT cash amounting to 20% portfolio. That I have invested some £40,000 or so last week is pretty trivial for many, certainly it is for my portfolio as a whole. My intent is for capital growth. I care not for timing.
That AZN has had a good year is of interest. I prefer to average up, not down and run winners not support losers. It has worked well in the last 40 years or so. The difference is that nowadays, I can afford to take higher risk as I do not hold in any equity more than 2% wealth as determined in the bid value of my portfolio.
Perhaps you have more experience as an investor than me, but until there is compelling evidence to heed your contributions, there is little to be gained by me from prolonging debate.
More sellin after 2 rns .bsfa more purchasers pile in .I like real meat .Can 2023 see more purchasers back at azn .
“… in anticipation of a better year ahead”
lol, take a look at the one year chart.
AZN’s 2022 been pretty good already.
I was one such buyer. Dipped a toe in today in anticipation of a better year ahead
