Ha! Imagine that, every time Sir Al pops out to the chippy it’s riddled with Awacta shareholders. He’s pretty safe though, the scheme is Monday to Wednesday and I’ll bet Sit Al is a traditional Friday chippy tea kind of guy.
I'm presuming the weatherby whaler will be doing the eat out to help out thing. I'm going.
Not a stalker but...
Vegas......Thats why they all know about us in the Wetherby Whaler....Sir A sees his chips wrapped up in the YP and thinks....”Great PR, job done”
GAZALA69
p*ss poor, did you not see the Yorkshire post? Lol
If I don’t see Trump dribbling on one of Awacta’s tests later this year I’ll be amazed. The PR will come from the govts as it did today.
Not so sure.
We might get a mention in the Daily Mail's share watch.
We haven't been the darling with the media so far have we.
Get your finger out Jersey PR because I think our media coverage has been p*ss poor.
Shoot me.
What, the maverick trader global? ;)
Quite right Matt... Except it’ll be global :o)
What was incredible today was the blanket amount of press covering these tests. "Game changer", unlock schools, air travel.. Just wait til our test comes out, the media will go mental.
Thanks Co... Been driving all day so not seen anything... Been up in the Scottish Highlands for a few days... Great up there but a good drive to Swansea.
So the drop is people twitching rather than any threat to Avactas tests.
Read them now and none are any rivals to us I'm sorry.. The govt will always be reactive to this virus than proactive so they buy the best of current.
There's no long term commitment here at all... Understand we need to get it done but when it does if will wipe the floor with the current so called competitors.
I'm not worried but we need real news somectime soon.
The UK govt is not what's going to take this share into orbit
News on couple of 90 minute tests being adopted by the UK government, LamPORE and DnaNudge - one LAMP-type, one PCR; both miniaturised versions of lab tests that can be run in hospitals and other pop-up lab settings nearer to patients. These are not directly comparable to the LFT in that they are slower, more cumbersome and expensive, and require trained personnel, but they do show encroachment and some adoption of lab-type tests in the POC market space.
In tandem, as you can see from the high post count today (most of which landed during the working day of course), the trolls/ shorters have been out in force.
No matter - the need is not going away any time soon, the market is still huge (not just UK of course) and Avacta’s share of it will be more sustainable the better the test is that they release in the end. This development just highlights the need the government have for something like Avacta’s test when it arrives. For now, arguably the gov just need some good news to offset the bad press about perceived delays in their rolling out of mass near-patient rapid tests.
Hope your travelling is going well, FF. Just got back from holiday to WFHing again today, so am somewhat jealous! At least I still have a job, so count myself lucky.
Lol why the drop did you not see the news today on testing we are now missing the boat which is sailing into the sunset but our day will come (I hope)
Been away from any devices unt now as travelling.... What have I missed, can't see any news so bit bemused at such a large drop in price.
Has anyone any links to what must be bad news please as can't find anything.
