There were over 100 blocks of 500 in yesterday's buy backs - they are shown in the RNS
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AV./transaction-in-own-shares-ypl4vah15f6tcsn.html
Playing up on the Lloyds board lol with a below forty call after saying they had sold there holding
What a arschlock lol
Anyone notice the consistent buying of 500 block shares I have not noticed the buy backs list so wonder who is accumulating there have been loads
Down today and for the last few days but Aviva holding strong with the buy backs once this tide turns think we will surpass the year high
I wouldn't be surprised if a flurry of delayed buys suddenly appear!
Looks like She may turn Blue today.....
Nuri. Patience is a virtue and something I have plenty of :-)
Good luck with your new venture.
The pub business can be a tricky one with so much competition
and many younger people drinking less, or not visiting pubs.
Hope it works out for you both. Good fortune.
MM CEO bough 400k+ last week another director buys 25k........ encouraging
Redceo - I hope it reaches £8 - I will be more glad for people on here. But 3 years in and nothing seems to move this beyond beyond £4.50. Patience is gone
Much easier to make money pushing a few buttons than pulling pints or making beds. Each to their own.
he will be back next week ,it is not that easy to give up ,this is a addiction.
Thank it's clear now Nuri. But your post gave an innacurate impression.
Should have read " after 5 years of succesful share trading, my partner and I are now concentrating on our new venture"
I hope my efforts to cheer you up etc, warrants a free weekend in your premier suite.
But seriously, the very best wishes with your project.
Nuri
So you have sold to invest your readies elsewhere??
Why!! Are you trying to scare people out of there investments??
Go to your pub and scare your punters
(Redceo - you are spot on in terms of potential here. Thing is £8 is a real possibility. This is an A+++ investment. Boring company - outstanding results.)
What has changed nuri since this post ???
Porsche posts the same thing to multiple boards (HSBA, RR, ITV, DLG, HL.....). It's just a bot, or someone as irrelevant as a bot. Just put them on ignore.
Redceo. I have a project lined up with my partner. We bought a pub and are building a hotel. Location absolutely stunning. We said we wouls stop investing when we reach €1 million - we have. Have grown €350k to €1 million in five years. Lots of heart attack moments but held through everything. I'm not worried about inflation - not for at least three years.
Nuri. Selling all sounds like a knee jerk reaction to a particular event or series of same. Surely not all your holdings were underperforming?
I recall we had a little chat previously when you felt similarly. Then it was due to your losses. From the post this time your situation improved considerably.
What will you do to ensure your cash is not eroded.
Then I would point you to Next PLC and Berkeley Plc that have both created huge
value through buy backs over a multi year timeframe.
Whether Aviva does the same remains to be seen.
A few down days for wider markets and you may have an opportunity to
buy back some lower, should you wish to do so.
Aviva often sells off on wider equity market volatility.
but looking at the share buybacks so far - they look a disaster. never ever seen one work for shareholders
I hope Aviva does well for everyone and best of luck.
SOLD all my shares yesterday lock, stock and barrel. Realising that loads of these companies share price prospects are pipe dreams. as for Aviva - for all the money they made the share price action in the last three years has been predictable. all £550k share sold - which at one stage were worth £250k. as for the companies their best hope is to be bought over and split up. I've realised over the last 3 years since Brexit - no one finds many of these companies appealing as a long term hold. good luck, i'm fully left the market.
Such people post because they need the recognition of others. Their lives have such general insignificance otherwise.
Therefore don't indulge them, instead!
IGNORE THEM TOTALLY!
In case it didn't register :-
IGNORE THEM TOTALLY!
Pork1946 must be the most under researched , incompetent poster ever to appear. It's clear he's just a kid in a bedroom no doubt earning sweet money from someone to slate specific shares, just look at his posting,it's not just Aviva. Probably sitting in this bedroom with his mates who are as dim as he is giggling that they are upsetting real investors. My guess is he has never owned a car let alone a share. Probably not earned enough pennies to buy the latest console game, hence the rant. Ignore the fool.
Does it realise that we view it as an epic loser investor.
Sounds like it may have lost a bundle of money somewhere along
the line and is making a desperate attempt to appear informed ?,
it's not working!.
Most well informed UK investors are well aware that the MCX trounces
the UKX over the longer term and you can take advantage of this
by holding an MCX tracker. FTSE Small Cap hitting new all time highs daily.
The UKX also has some fantastic longer term performers, Next, Experian, Diageo, Halma,
3i, Berkeley Group, Ashtead Group, to name just some.
Perhaps it was not clever enough to identify and hold some of these great stocks.
I'd love to know how much money he's lost . It must be pretty substantial to make him spout the same bile over and over again
