Fingers crossed the quarterly update will have ALOT of information for us all
Yep, I think that will be in there! Hope Barclays rate is paid by the deal done, not by the hour!
Yep, quarterly update will be released either this week or next week.
I can exclusively reveal that I've managed to get a sneak advance copy of the RNS, and the last paragraph reads :
"The strategic process to identify an appropriate partner to participate in the lithium development is progressing well. Further updates on the strategic process will be communicated in due course as appropriate."
Aaaaarrrrghhhhhhh..................
Drill results, and quarterlies will be interesting showing tin cost and sales, and our other metal sales

Good afternoon.
That is a 600% increase from today's price.
This was the write up from a video interview a couple months ago as a reminder...
" Andrada Mining Ltd (AIM:ATM, OTC:AFTTF) CEO Anthony Viljoen discusses the company's expansion plans and the promising potential of its flagship Uis mine in Namibia with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion.
In a production and strategic process update, Andrada noted it has made significant progress in developing what is believed to be one of the world's most preeminent polymetallic deposits, with lithium being a key focus alongside tin and tantalum. The company has adopted a phased approach to expansion, emphasizing conservative planning and rapid execution.
Viljoen said tin revenues and throughput at the plant doubled last year, as integrating ore sorting technology showed positive results. Andrada has also commenced tantalum production and established a pilot plant for lithium, achieving on-spec lithium concentrate, a feat unique among AIM-listed lithium companies. This development marks a transition from a junior small-cap to a mid-tier mining producer.
Viljoen mentioned non-binding offers for partnership interests in the lithium project, underscoring lithium's versatility and potential across various industries, including batteries and ceramics. The company is considering partnerships with major players in the lithium market to accelerate long-term development and expose the company to downstream opportunities.
Looking ahead, Andrada aims to unlock the scale potential of its deposits, leveraging revenues and profits for expansion with financing partners. Key milestones for 2024 include finalizing strategic partnerships, ramping up tantalum supply, expanding lithium resources, and engaging in further metallurgical test work and partnerships, particularly following the EU-Namibia roundtable participation. "
6 months already into 2024 so news can't be too far off.
It's been a long wait, maybe too long without better clarification coms regarding partner, lets hope our investment starts seeing some reward very soon.
Hannam and partners, posted a new research note on Andrada set a 27p target price.

Agreed. AV has been on the pot for far too long. When he first made the "eye watering" comment and brought Barclays on board to sift the wheat from the chaff it seemed like it was all going to progress to a positive conclusion with the minimum of effort. It now seems like its akin to trying to push a bowling ball through a letterbox. He either needs to explain the reasons for the delay or he needs to deliver.
TDT
Hi bohercom - I've put the long delay in confirming the 'partnering' outcome down to so many, apparently, unsolicited interested parties showing their interest in us; these will inevitably take more time than usual to work through, post Barclays' assistance in this regard but even so, 12 months is a long time to sort the 'wheat from the chaff'...
The delay has been undermining sentiment, of course but with the sp reflecting that, any decent arrangement, if and when it's announced, should prompt a decent rebound. If, however, AV's considering an offer for the co, bearing in mind he's a big holder, well, say no more...
At least, there's no premium to evaporate upon either revelation; hopefully, a 'non event' isn't the outcome, otherwise pekingduck's sober analysis looks all the more chastening - sasa.
@pekingduck @sasa43 - I always appreciate your views on here, thanks. Good to see you're both still invested.
I agree with you both - this has been a "jam tomorrow" company for too long now. The market is giving no premium for "potential" due to the way the commercial strategy has played out over the past couple of years.
My major concern now is reaction to the Strategic Process. Having gone on for so long, I just don't get the feeling that it's going to be "eye-watering" when it comes, and the way it's been setup, anything less than that will be a disappointment.
I am still positive, obviously having topped up today, but I honestly thought large scale growth would be closer on the horizon by now than it is.
Hi bohercom - I got into this around the same time as you, I see, paying some 6p overall, fwiw...
Like you, it's frustrating that, despite the Co's progress on the production front and encouraging development / exploration news, the sp remains pretty friendless, even now, as we await the outcome of the various partnering negotiations which are still ongoing, we're told. These have been underway for a year now which we're assured 'are going well'...
Given the profundity of the outcome, let's hope our patience will be rewarded to see a material re-rating of the shares, at last - sasa.
They're good observations bohercom, and when you look at the progress made operationally vs the market's reaction to that, it's definitely been a very frustrating 3 year period for shareholders.
But there are reasons for that. ATM has issued abt 440m new shares since march 21, at 6p and 5p, and no doubt a host of warrants and options that have yet to be converted. So the number of shares out has gone up by abt 40% (at least..).
The market cap on the first issue was £67m and on the second one £76m, vs £74m currently, so despite raising over £24m in these offerings, the market cap has actually gone down. The market basically saying that ATM hasn't converted that cash into enterprise value - not surprising as it has been loss making every year since the IPO and has burnt through much of the cash it has raised in opex costs. Even the latest round of finance through Orion only plugs the gaps in the income statement until some time in 2025, so if ATM can't turn it around and start producing +ve free cash flows in the current FY, it's going to have to find further finance next year, again.
Some will disagree with this assessment but this the actual bottom line, and the market knows it. Hence 4.5p currently on the bid.
Time for AV to p+ss or get off the pot.

I first bought shares here in 2023 around 5p primarily for the lithium, with the tin (and tantalum) considered as bonuses however in recent times I've come to realise just how important a commodity tin is to be exposed to. There are plenty of factors that mean that buyers globally could withstand considerably higher tin prices, probably as much as $60k/t without there being an incentive to look for substitutions... and that's not something true for many other commodities that are set to see growing demand due to the energy transition. The article that best explains why tin prices will likely remain strong for years to come is linked below:
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/inelastic-demand-obvious-new-supply-create-perfect-07p3c/?trackingId=V3SaugIKQeGvvpLsDoX2Xg%3D%3D
I've started adding and adding over the past few weeks ready for better news flow through H2 of this year.
I entered here around March 2022, and buying around the 6p mark, though I have managed to buy some tranches cheaper. I must admit I would of thought we'd be a bit more approeption on the SP now, than since I joined.
However, ATM is my biggest holding, I see this as an opportunity to top up, I am liking the size of my holding and have a figure in mind I want to achieve holding wise. I am hoping the SP will eventually reflect in appreciation, but as Peking says there has been more shares allocated and the length of the Strategic deal is taking a very long time, the market isn;t rating us and I can see some reason why that is.
I do think at some point the nes has to come and then we shall gather some momentum, when that is I don't know, but news drives sentiment, which we require in abundance at the moment!
Some good posts reflecting the company position. The response to partner news will be interesting that’s for sure , you can’t take away that tin lithium etc will see huge demand in coming years the infrastructure they have and putting in place will reward us all in the long run .
Tin prices cemented well above 30k great move today up 4% yet we still have sellers . Absolutely crazy that some still don’t understand the company’s dynamics

I guess, with the increasing demand for 'tech metals' today, which weren't so prevalent previously when the $50k per ton 'high' for tin was reached a few years ago, double that could yet be seen...
Such would certainly galvanise Andrada's sp at last and put an end to all the supposed 'sales' confounding us, even if Mark Thompson's 'half right' which would be very gratifying in itself!
Similarly, if AV's drawn out discussions on the partnering front finally 'bear fruit', prompting a positive RNS, our sub 10p price level should be left well behind - pleasant thoughts, anyway - sasa.

Great interview with Mark Thompson, aka king of tin ,on vox markets. He's calling 100,000 per ton on tin within the next 18 months with the massive shortfall of tin production, Andrada was mentioned among others for people to get exposure to tin investment, could you imagine ,100.000 kpt let's make money

I agree jcep in fact I’d say that was a million buy split into 2 chunks .. it’s like right now u can buy 550k at 4.9 but anything above that is 4.99 .
At least those trades have moved the dial up a bit but can u imagine if tin did hit 100000 as predicted on current form I’m sure we would hit 6p . No 60p I meant .. anyway we can dream …have a great weekend all .
Painless
I really don't think that is what is happening. I can confidently say those 500k trades are buys
Some of these buys are obviously sells.
If I put a buy order in at a certain price and my broker could buy at a lower price then he does That 500 buy this morning is obviously a sell. Maybe someone is buying a large amount then selling 500 just to keep the price down and hoping someone sells and drives the price further down so they can buy more. Then they repeat. Just a thought.
For what its worth I just can’t get my head round what’s happened yet again today as by my reckoning out of the 4.6 million shares traded & after looking at the prices quoted I’d say the buy numbers outweighed the sales by nigh on 4 to 1 yet the price doesn’t move . 2 days ago it was showing a similar pattern & yet ticked up just 5 cents yesterday it was hardly a sell off but somehow dipped 15 c so how any of that makes sense is a mystery to me .All will be revealed I suppose soon enough so will just have to suck it up and wait a bit longer b4 my golden tickets get me into the chocolate factory hopefully lol . Couldn’t agree more TrickyDicky

Nice
Nice write up CCC.
I think realistically mid tier 2026/7 is very achievable, I have patience in waiting for true results, it's the ones where I am in a long time and nothing occurs, which annoys me.
I am taking advantage when I can to reach my target holding, naturally if the SP surges it makes that summit steeper to reach.
There is a lot of decent news to come over the course of 2024, all IMHO!
Good afternoon Nesty.
We are on roughly the same mindset on Andrada's timeline of becoming a mid tier company, i hope you can reach your target soon but don't miss out on the buying opportunity at current prices.
After reading an article late February, i had hoped a deal would have been announced by now involving the EU.
Here is a reminder and for those who may of missed it.
https://miningandenergy.com.na/namibias-lithium-refining-industry-could-yield-n3-1bn-in-gross-value-create-5800-jobs/
A couple of key notes of interest.
" The Andrada mining project is targeting a production volume of 15k tons of Lithium carbonate equivalent ( LCE ).
" The report indicates that a single project covering mining and refining and aiming for 15k tons of LCE, is expected to employ nearly 1,000 workers, with refining operations constituting 20% of the workforce.
" McKinsey recommends Namibia to leverage the demands for feedstock from the EU lithium refining projects.
" To capitalise on the demand from the EU and capture additional value from it's existing lithium production the proposed play for Namibia is to produce technical -grade lithium carbonate, an intermediate product with off take agreements to be put in place with downstream EU refineries, said the report.
"Namibia can capture this opportunity by having established players in the Namibian lithium industry, such as Andrada.
Collaborate with EU lithium refining project operators in a joint venture to acquire expertise and funding to establish a refining facility in Namibia, the report stated."
News can't be too far away.......hopefully.
I have always said that ATM will take time to get that that destination we all crave. I entered here in 2022, with a 5 year plan in mind. I am seeking at least a SP of 25p for this time, so still time left!
I concur there has been a drought of news recently, but I believe we just need some steps of news to start unpinning certain Bollinger bands, the strategic partner news will certainly help this in a correct direction, along with any drill results.
CC congrats on the 6 figures, my target which I am hoping to achieve soon!
Looking forward to becoming a mid tier company Copper.
Realistically i am hoping in the next 2 to 3 years, a lot to do but i believe in AV and i also would like to give a shoutout to Andrada's team that often does not get mentioned for the hard work they do.
Brought some more last week and i have reached my target of 1 million shares at 5p average.
Just need to partnership news to set light the share price and bring more interest.

Agreed, CCC - it's not rocket science where the MMs are concerned it seems to me; just prefix each trade with a'B' or 'S' notation from their viewpoint to avoid the mid - price proximity guesswork utilised at present. Then again, AIM issues are not noted for their transparency, unfortunately - sasa.
I have been checking today's trades.
The last 15 were all buys, a few large ones too, yet everyone is being reported as a sell.
This happens across the markets, time for this to be rectified, with today's technology, this should not be happening and gives investors false information.
Someone wants more of these before Monday?!
Hi Richy - I think it's the other way round isn't it? The profitable tin production (approx $10k per ton currently) subsidises the lithium production / output now coming on stream for 'free' which is the 'cherry on top' that AV alludes to...
Either way, the catalyst to get the sp finally going is the 'partnering news' RNS that we're all waiting for, of course - it's gotta be fairly close now since it was announced some 12 months ago, surely? - sasa.
Some very encouraging money coming in over the last few days and couple of weeks , nice consolidation at these prices . Should see a substantial move very soon .
I couldn't resist buying a few more, news on multiple fronts must be close
Morning all . Nice to see a new broker note today . Very conservative price of 10p as this is due to now position not the future prospects I believe , as Harmann partners has it at 33p. It does say we could be producing tin for FREE , only have to do the maths on that and we are looking at multiples of today’s prices . Happy to hold to see true value .
