Should've punted this one after the last rise. Can't help feeling that it's going to rocket on some news shortly. Still 40% up at current SP. I've punted too many shares when the line has gone cold, only for news to come out the following week. Director buy in at 17p and fundamentals tell me this is a hold. Don't have the bottle to up my stake, but I could regret that. Anyone else in?
Had a good think about this one over the weekend and I'm holding- Market cap is still only a third of company's net assets. Turned in a profit in a difficult year last year. EPS likely to increase this year.
good day here. think this will continue to rise. hardly any selling so its due to rise above 20p before maybe taking a slight retrace to the 17p mark
still moving up!
Well done. I think there is room left for a little movement yet. I've held some of these for a few months and topped up yesterday. I've never bought into a company knowing less about it before, but I couldn't ignore the fundamentals. The interims gave me enough confidence to top up. I'm in for £4k. Nice uplift after a gloomy start to the week.
i need to grow some balls. i am out with 50% profit..... just bought a new laptop so it will pay for that!! think i will regret it but hey lol....... think it has a lot of potential!!!!! can see it over 20p today...... gulp lol
I must be the only one on here who has these in my portfolio as the "Also hold" list looks like half my portfolio!
Up up and away. Where will it stop?
amazing
20p coming. this is so undervalued
15 this morning i am sure will hit. market cap is very low seeing as they have over $43m in assets plus cash and made $8m profit last year..... business also picking up
Looking forward to tomorrow.
could well see 15p tomorrow.
looks like a good day ahead tommorrow.
lots of interest here..... only 76m shares available and only 40m of them are in public hands...... making healthy profits, lots of assets and cash and business is picking up......
10% up today and with assets/profit this is really undervalued
could go a lot further

Outlook There has been significant turnaround in market sentiment during the last six months as the impact of massive and unprecedented government intervention has begun to be felt. Liquidity has returned in some quarters, enabling great trading volumes in the main markets but the sustainability of the global economic recovery will remain the subject of speculation for some time. Although there are fewer opportunities now to acquire assets at prices well below fundamental value, there remains plenty of potential to profit from trading and monetising less liquid assets. The Group's multi-strategy approach to investing in emerging markets means that it is well placed to take advantage of these opportunities. The Group is well capitalised for the current scale of operations and the Board remains committed on delivering attractive returns while rebuilding assets under management.
Key Highlights for the six month period ended 30 June 2009 - Encouraging performance across the Argo credit funds - Achievement of portfolio rebalancing and restructuring objectives in spite of significant reduction in performance fee income - Revenues of USD5.8 million (period to June 2008: USD1.5 million) - Operating profit of USD1.5 million (period to June 2008: USD2.0 million) - Profit before tax of USD2.0 million (period to June 2008: USD2.1 million) - Healthy balance sheet: net assets of USD43.7 million (December 2008: USD41.0 million)
over $8m last year and has net assets of $43m so the share price here is a joke............ should be at least 30p!
yesterday.
$6m profit, $40m assets (inc $20m cash), only $2m liabilities and a market cap of £6.5m. Surely I'm missing something here - seems very cheap. anyone know anything about this company? I know it is something to do with absolute capital who performed very well before going belly up controversially and that they are into commercial and retail property in eastern Europe. Anyone provide further info?
