"The Board is confident in Anglo American's standalone future prospects. Anglo American has accelerated plans for delivery of its standalone strategy and will provide a detailed investor update on 14 May 2024."
I doubt they will address operations in Zambia directly but might be worth a read tomorrow.
A mention would be polite ! :-))
Interesting strategy shift for Anglo in their RNS this morning, focusing on copper, iron ore and crop nutrients. It was noticeable that several times it referred to ‘Southern Africa’ rather than South Africa where the iron ore business is…. Read it for yourself
They 100% know the importance of these licences and the positive effect a decent find will have on the looming cu defecit.
Right place right time.
1.87 to buy..atm
2p can be seen today.
Yes indeed "Southern Africa" "Resource endowment Opportunities" "Unlock numerous of these other opportunities" "These actions represent the most radical changes to Anglo American in decades. I believe these are the right decisions to position Anglo American to capitalise on the outstanding resource endowment opportunities within our portfolio today. Our proven and differentiated capabilities within Anglo American, our global relationship networks and our longstanding reputation as a responsible mining company will help us unlock numerous of these and other opportunities in the jurisdictions where our experience and track record are most valuable and most valued, namely in South America and Southern Africa.
And then "· A proven track record of major copper greenfield project delivery"
"Anglo American has an established track record of successfully developing such new supply, responsibly and profitably"
"Supporting Anglo American's more focused portfolio will be an aligned organisation structure that is fit for purpose to leverage Anglo American's differentiated capabilities and global relationship networks to deliver the full potential of the portfolio and each asset within it. The organisation will be set up to unlock numerous future resource opportunities in the jurisdictions where Anglo American's experience is most valuable and valued, in two of the most prospective mining regions - South America and Southern Africa."
"provide confidence in future project execution"
I've not seen him making many right calls of late however with over 20k followers dedicated to investing and trading it's a positive to have him getting excited over ARCM and has made it only one of his two long term investments:
https://twitter.com/MylesMcNulty/status/1790273048924332068
I'm glad M McNulty could see all that, because after a while I thought I was reading into it what I wanted to see, but No ! All Duncan didn't say is that he's just taken a personal position in Arc :-))
I think that reference to "Southern Africa" is probably the best we could hope for. They couldn't exactly say we think we might be onto something big in Zambia without hard evidence to back it up but in my view that's what they are suggesting.
I thought perhaps a broad mention of future opportunities of development opportunities, but that RNS is screaming exploration and development throughout.
Mangio, 2p has been visible for years here - firmly in the rear view mirror!
Donkeys are not renowned for being smart but even so that is the dumbest statement I’ve read today and thats saying a lot when you see the general level of discourse on these boards.
Honestly with that level of intelligence I am fairly certain that it's another TNR I'd.
Be carefull of those well used words here
"Imminently" or how about "this qtr"
Are there any drill rigs on site? Has any work began in Zambia or Botswana.
Whatever relevance the bid for AA has to do with anything here is beyond me and all the sellers, somebody was spouting earlier about 2p today.
Ramp ramp and ramp some more I bet it will finish RED today.
More wise words from our learned idiot Peggy.
I gave up having any interest in anything Peggy boy had to say years ago. He's just an attention seeker, filter him and we'll all be better off.
You were spot on the money, Peggy! Another day selling for less than it closed the previous day, I guess everyone except the shareholders is getting rich from ARCM. I wish they'd kick their ramping up into higher gear, I'd really like to get my shares flipped here before the clueless management find another way to dilute shareholders at multiyear lows.
I dislike everything that Peggy says but unfortunately over the last year or so he / she has been more accurate than anyone else on here or we would be back to over 8p again.
Honestly with that level of intelligence I am fairly certain that it's another TNR I'd.
That was you post earlier Simon, i would be careful posting about levels of intelligence, Pot calling kettle and all that?
Seis stick to drawing pictures, i am sure it would give you more satisfaction than posting nonsense about the potential AA takeover and trying to put a spin on it, bit like you previous career that you like to tell everybody about, Geologist or was it a gas meter reader, keep up the ramping your doing a great job.
It gets funnier by the day here.
Next will be a picture from Fulmar showing us a drill rig ready to go, does anybody have a picture of a drill rig ready for action?
perhaps you could draw one Seis.
carry on being birdies ***** ;)
Investors page updated today https://www.arcminerals.com/investors/share-information/default.aspx
Many thanks for that great link Jarvis.
It appears that the shareprice graph if I am not mistaken is identical to your chart but upside down???
Love that handy little investment calculator on the right hand side. It shows that if I invested £1000 in shares in ARCM on 14th May 2023 that at close today, excluding dealing costs, they would be worth an unimpressive £497.21
It also shows that if I had invested that same £1000 prior to the completion of the greatestest ever JV in the history of finance on 10th November 2023 that despite copper being at an all time high that alas my ARCM shares would now be worth (once again excluding dealing costs) £456.41
Hmmmm not very good is it??
