It is the sweet variety I am referring to "Arfa" -it also means an MP (upright standing member) where I come from :-)) but rest assured my keyboard is safe :-))-Now if we are clear on which snack we are consuming- "Are you all sitting comfortably ? Then we'll begin"
Just stopped for a read. Was getting a bit confused.
Fulmar, popcorn means something else, round my way. :)
@Marco Remy mentioned in his Indaba 2020 presentation potentially processing from FQMs plant if we can find something big enough.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IaX-EwZcMOw
Yh i thought it was CE ore into Kalaba plant but SS would therefore be based on CE but suppose its nit picking and as long as its got great economics and does the job it doesn't matter. Think today will be very interesting to say the least. Last IC was positive with not much said and it still started a near 80% rally in the following weeks.
Definitely will be!!!
By the way Is there infrastructure nearby our zamsort/zaco licences to potentially process the copper ore? i.e. FQM etc
Saw that and said nothing Orowe- but did mentioned recently that Kalaba needs Ch E ore,and not Vica Versa - Nice weather for a CC Kully.
Yep all lined up for this mornings CC at 1100

Agreed RNS on the 15th does mention both Kalaba and Cheyza East but the more recent IC talks only about CE with reference to the fast track SS.
See 3.57 on IC
Yeah will be there. I think Fulmar is a salty flavour kind of guy ...
Popcorn obv ;)
Got me popcorn ready :-))
Marco , f29/79, Apr and all others you guys joining the call today ?
I agree no drilling imo as per my last posts but it wasn't just ore from cheyeza only, based on the last RNS. Maybe worth re regarding it for context before the call ;) 15th December.
From RNS >>Study confirms technical and economic feasibility for the Cheyeza East Oxide and Kalaba Sulphide ores and the viability of progressing to Scoping Study phase.<<
I attended the last conference and summarised it here but won't listen again before 11am, today is today and all that.
ATB
Scoping Study actually due any day now as per the last investor call they said it was being fast tracked. Investor call was 15th of Feb and they stated a couple of weeks to finish metallurgical testing and then 2 months from that point to complete scoping study which puts us right to today basically. Would suggest no further drilling was necessary as it was based on the Cheyza East ore.
Would think we would find out a pretty accurate timeframe in todays IC and i'd suggest re listening to the last one for context prior.
Yeah Marco. That's it end of h1. I posted a pasta from that RNs to start this thread just to say I expect something will be released around it all shortly (ish) 6-8 weeks I guess
Scoping study to be completed by the end of June 2021 as stated in the rns from the 15th Dec 2020.

>>Was there mention of further drilling at Kalaba required to support the scoping study? <<
I can't recall hearing anything or seeing anything to suggest they were doing further drilling to support the scoping study for the above. Can't say with 100% confidence though.
Also as they suggested scoping study during h1 I think this supports my supposition no further drilling data to feed into the scoping study. They'll (IMO) complete the scoping appraisal based on exploration/ drilling and informed assumptions from the proof of concept etc.

Was there mention of further drilling at Kalaba required to support the scoping study? (I din't fancy listening to it again). Drilling Kalaba wasn't mentioned in the placing RNS. Kalaba licence is now owned by a seperate company to the rest of the licence areas and I don't think this has happened by accident.
@Marco Abso-ruddy-lutely !

Akhtar.
AA generally prefer JVs rather than takeovers therefore i think you are probably correct on a JV.
aprogerson.
Gives arcm more leverage in AA deal as stated earlier in telegram group.
Kopara won't sell out entirely but could take Arc shares to gain (cost free !) in any future growth.I would !
It could also be agreed that arcm take the casa cash to spend in the Kalahari....
Just have to wait and see. I'd still like to have AA buyout kopara so we get major, and still maintain our % or most of it if they also decide to buy a little extra. That said who the heck knows.
Atb
If TO happens can see a shell company for Casa royalties and new assets.
Can’t see TO as ppl have said we want to explore more and that means they really are confident having multiple tier 1 assets.
AA can take a small stake at a reasonable value and accelerate exploration.
Lol f29 sorry
agreed Apro. Casa and Zam deal not connected apart from tying up profitable loose ends for future Zam works.
