@ F29 I point was that CASA and any deal are NOT connected, but the availability of additional cashflow coming from any confirmed deal 'may' influence the type and terms of any deal (or not) entered into IF CASA deal is confirmed in good time given AAL discussions are still ongoing.
Bottom line is it reinforces NvS ability to walkaway if any AAL deal is not good enough as he has other viable options and does not HAVE to accept ANY deal offered..

Just seen the rns...great news. More funds to prove up resource...has to help in any negotiations with AA. With you on that f29... lots of green ink on the board today
But if Mr Con.someone stumped enough money to take us out entirely, they would obviously benefit from those potential Royalties at a later date. But I feel we will need to prove up the licenses further before anyone offers the sort of money we will be wanting. P.S there are several posts that I can't see (immediately after my post) so if they are aimed at me ,please save your illiterate mutterings- and please feel free to filter me as well.
What we need tomorrow is to hear that talks are progessing well, which is non committal
ConMan-it does ! One of the reasons for selling Casa is to concentrate on the main asset and remove "loose ends". NvS is not going to go out of his way to try and create a smokescreen for the sake of appearances.
I was thinking the same CM if a T/O takes place somehow I don't think they will be worried too much about CASA payments, lol Fulmar talking rubbish again
No it doesn't Fulmar. The BOD have to act as if a T/O isn't happening when it comes to other activities.
Casa deal also confirms that there will be a structured deal (no T/O ) with AAL or AN other as we are going to be around for a while to benefit from the future Casa Royalty payments
stop promoting me-it's f29 :-)) sorry the convo was 3rd May- RNS 15th Dec
No rns for 3rd may F79 , where did you see that?
Apr I agree, but on those points are you confirming that we don’t do the deal with AA before as we are proving up more of the reserves.
I actually like that deal and was thinking likewise, the plant debt could be lower for financing due to cash. But I’m looking at AA giving us a very good deal and a reason to sign with a major.
We don’t need AA as much as they want their hands on this, we can go alone but would be slower or shore up and look at other interested parties.
Also we have potential new assets that can be explored.
3rd May RNS re POC--"I look forward to providing further results from these studies during H1 in 2021."-having informed the market of the POC,I don't think it's necessary to RNS it's findings/conclusion/intentions.
@akhter If CASA goes through that will be £3.6m ($5m) in ARCs bank by 31-Dec-2021 independent of anything else AND in addition to cash already held. This now puts ARCM in a stunning strong negotiating position as it has multiple options backed by a decent overall £5/6m cash-pile.
2 very good uses for this money come to mind:
(1) Drill baby drill ... prove up & confirm Tier 1 status of at least 1 resource
(2) Get Kalaba plant up & running PDQ ... copper pushing $10k/t and £30m+ FCF beckons within 12-18 months. At 3x FCF that would value ARCM at £90m MCap from copper production without anything else
IMHO thinks are looking very good indeed

Me too F79
These were the questions I asked (sent off yesterday) not sure if they would get answered before this RNS but hoping my CASA one pretty much has with this RNS that came out.
1) if a deal can not be reached by the end of the EA, why can we not get others who are interested involved? as to get the best price an open bidding would help secure that as on the 15 feb call you said any deal would have to create significant value to where we are today .
2) how are the plans for cheyza east coming along? You said it would target to be in production by end of next year but is there an opportunity to accelerate?
3) CASA why were we notified so late about non payment and a new deal was presented. How is that progressing can you share ? (TODAYS RNS ANSWERS THAT)
Fab Akhtar, looking forward to investor call.
Thanks
F79 I asked a question on this in timelines and acceleration if possible. For me if AA do not offer the right deal we can go alone in the mean time and get the value we deserve.
We should hear something on these very soon also IMO...as per RNS extract re completion of scoping study and also the JORC compliant resource was advanced at last RNS in Dec.
=>The PoC concludes that both Cheyeza East and Kalaba Deposits are technically feasible and economically viable, thereby supporting the Company's decision to advance the formal technical studies to target completion of a Scoping Study during the first half of 2021.<<
Anyway ngt.
