We’re getting some selling into the interest. I wouldn’t actually mind seeing a bit more.
Iceland ploughing on. 74p todays currency.
Just such a solid share. Great institutional shareholders. Let's just hope the results continue to support the share price. Doesn't detract that we'll shortly be a gold producer too.
Finished yesterday 72p.
Last buy shown as equivalent of 70p, in Iceland trading.

Again, a few months old. Mention of pension funds.
AMRQ moving up to Iceland NASDAQ index. That came around quickly. Should lead to some index tracking funds purchasing the Iceland listing which in turn will lead to buys in London.

It’s a few months old, but Mr. Archer has commented previously.

“2024 may be a time for a more measured strategy. Consider Sovereign Metals, Amaroq Minerals, Kodal Minerals, Greatland Gold, ARC Minerals, Golden Metal — where the upside is now strong, the investment case is compelling, but the risk is mitigated through various channels.”

I wouldn't be surprised when Amaroq would acquire the Thunderstone license from Bluejay mining (JAY)
Currently that company is a complete mess and they will likely need to sell assets
Thunderstone license is very close to the Nalunaq Goldmine: https://media.licdn.com/dms/image/C5612AQFHyhGK6fgoFA/article-inline_image-shrink_1000_1488/0/1587038371367?e=1708560000&v=beta&t=HYSkR5lwHMwgH4X_5SUzDkcxapznL6RoelAzKfLtcWc
Just an observation that the company currently seems to be trading a couple pence up on Iceland market, on todays exchange rates.
In the latest corporate presentation, AMRQ envisage mining 100 tonnes per day in H2 2024, ramping up to 300 tonnes per day. Using their previous figures of 18.5 grammes per tonne (quoted in 2020 so average may be higher now) this equates to 1.85kg of day. Market rate of this weight is around $120k per day. At 300 tonnes per day, $360k per day. Per annum that is $43.8M and $131.4M respectively assuming no breaks in production (there will be some). That's the cash flow for further development but once revenues start flowing, the company becomes much more credible and hence investable.
Further results from two additional sampled intersections at the 75 Vein expected in Q4 2023.Strategic Minerals: Results from the Sava drilling programme and initial results from the Stendalen stratigraphic drilling are expected in Q4 2023 or Q1 2024.
Eldur Olafsson, CEO of Amaroq, commented:
“…….and I look forward to providing a fuller update on Nalunaq later this year.”
Looks like they're finished the job . Now waiting for a nice end of year update including Sava results
That ship has been there six days...must have a lot of kit !!

My understanding of this is Akta sjóðir hf. entered into a futures contract with a counter-party. An amount of that long position has been closed and settled, with, looking at share price movement, Akta taking a profit.
Akta retain the benefit of remaining position( s ) should the price rise, and the opposite.
No equity was necessarily sold into the market.
It’s a miner, so there’s always room for ups and downs in my very limited experience.
The last RNS seemed to make it pretty clear where they’re going with this, so I take it at face value.
I speculated further today, by adding at the then going 63.5p rate.
Besides drilling results. Looking forward to the next Nalunaq updates. Good to see activity over there
Top Intelligence, agfo. Well played
Big ship on its way to Nalunaq https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-47.3/centery:60.1/zoom:8
Year high. So a few more out there increasingly seeing some merit.
This quarter anyway anticipated.
Hopefully Sava results in this week.
