AML MCAP
02 Aug 2020 18:09
Been going over the last couple of years if RNS’s and thought I would throw my findings out there.
Ok so the share price graph is almost impossible to understand because of the share dilutions so the only reliable comparison over the years is the Market Cap.
The Trading Update and Revised Outlook RNS 5341G on the 24th July 2019 sent the shares in free fall and although averaging £10.35 (MCAP £2.36 BILLION) for the previous couple of months prior to the RNS fell to £7.66 (MCAP £1.74 BILLION). The share price then averaged £5.50 (MCAP £1.25 BILLION) until Jan 2020.
We have exhausted COVID and share dilutions so if we agree that theoretically and potentially AML has got to be in best position EVER to actually now succeed and become prosperous then let’s draw a comparison to now today to just before COVID.
So
MCAP Jan 2020
228,002,890 x 550p =
£1.25 BILLION
MCAP today
1824,014,450 x 57.90p = £1.05 BILLION
Does that surprise you?
Ie That we are now very close to pre Covid MCAP value?
Now here is the best bit.
If the DBX is a success then a MCAP of what it was before that disastrous RNS Trading Update and Revised outlook (above) in July 2019 must be achievable.
Ie £2.36 BILLION
which my good friends is a share price today of drum roll......
2,360,000,000/1,824,014,450 = £1.29
Oh and even the MCAP figure of £1.74 BILLION immediately AFTER the Revised outlook RNS which is the price the shares fell to as a result of the terrible news is still very good. Ie
1,740,000,000/1,824,014,450 = £0.95p
All IMHO of course
Thank you Rox, I will
Doyezee don’t have answers to your AMG questions but I did make a guesstimate at AMLs MCAP and backed it up with more guesstimate reasons. Click on my name and go back a couple of days posts to read. It’s good!
My guess tomorrow is similar to Havmans above. Today’s rise isn’t sustainable without news and although it’s great to see the rise it’s awful when it drops back down! I can’t see us going back into the 50’s though but who knows?
Not concerned so long as SP keeps climbing :-)) real push hasn’t even begun yet so just imagine when good numbers do come through as the new business model and products start to mature. With that in mind and talking predictions, what are people’s opinions on a realistic market cap/SP for AML over the 1, 2 and 5 years and does anyone have solid numbers on what AMGs contribution to mercedes’ market Cap/SP is at present? Just interested to understand its independent value and where Moers got it to
3300 - Just guess on the waves, don't take at as gospel lol
Up to around 63 first thing
Fall back on A wave (58.5)
Up on B wave (61.5)
Back doen to 59.5 at close ready for next wave 1
Maybe lol
In the analysts call, one specific point raised was whether the BOD were 'using Ferrari as a template for the business model for Aston Martin going forward.' Stroll answered, we have 'our own goals. & our own targets.' With Ferrari's (RACE) $44Bn mkt cap in mind, the focus on dealer inventories, build to order, and margin, I think that means 'YES!!'. Next week we see 80 imo. Jtini
Please do not do that. Stay as you are!
3300 lol
My other response was "The bots have it! I say the bots have it!"
Just a minute....okay, I have put some inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odourless, and nearly colourless liquid on my digit, and then carefully placed it outside my abode to take reference from the natural air movement outside, taking into account all the relevant and obvious factors available to me.........not a clue!!!
LOL!! OK here goes......
No news..... up to 63/64p by 8.30am... drop down to 59p by 11.30/midday. Then back up to 62/63p close.
News.... depending on how good it is... gap up to 68/70p.... some profit taking by 8.30/9pm back down to 65p then close at 67/68p.
Jesus - Who wants to go first?
