Cheers Amann, will take a look at that this evening ;o)
Thanks AMANN
I will have a look at it.
AI systems are not very good at recognising patterns before they emerge but google's AlphaGo system recently beat the world champion at Go - the ultimate emerging pattern recognition game - 4-1 so better systems are definitely on the way.
there is an indicator for the elliot wave theory which can help you further. This is copied from investopedia:-
-Other analysts have developed indicators inspired by the Elliott Wave principle, including the Elliott Wave Oscillator, which is pictured in the image above. The oscillator provides a computerized method of predicting future price direction based on the difference between a five-period and 34-period moving average. Elliott Wave International’s artificial intelligence system, EWAVES, applies all Elliott wave rules and guidelines to data to generate automated Elliott wave analysis.
Appreciate the reply as always WG. More reading and video watching for me - time allowing!
Being a declared novice investor and as I don't expect to master the waves quickly, I'm hoping to get the gist of the basics so I can buy/sell in a more pre-planned way over weeks rather than hours till I get the hang of it
I guess the waves I'm looking at are over a longer period than your own?
I'll go with you WG but I can't see it as I told DIMI. I find it harder seeing where during descents
Hi folks,
From my basic reading / understanding on the wave theory, I'd agree that it looks like we're in or completing a C.
WG, I think you may be into a more in depth version of the system? Do I remember you talking about 7 waves rather than 5?
GLTA regardless of systems etc etc
Dimi I don't see it. The troughs today are too low. Also I think we are still in C so any Eliot waves should be reversed.
There might be one that started on Friday at 4pm and hasn't completed today yet, but marginal.
My view watching the price movement is that the overall sentiment about the placement is mixed (55% positive 45% negative). I would describe it as grudgingly positive. We've been made to take medicine that deep down we know we needed but it still doesn't taste nice, and so we are just meandering waiting for the next event to determine the direction. The next up wave is coming but I don't see it yet
Yes, the sun is shining again today after a couple of weeks...
Pantarei: I see in the course of the day that we already have 1 complete Eliot run already behind us and we are in a second... if that is so we see today 57-58! do you see it?
Thanks Ringers that’s what I thought and was surprised when 3300 said they were in circulation. It’s an honest mistake though (3300 smacked wrists) she’s a good lass.
3300 from following this board for the past few weeks I know you know a helluva lot more than me, so I always preface any comments I make with "to the best of my knowledge" - meaning way way less than you, Paul1oz, whitegost et al.
Not selling either !
Roxbury - I bought a tranche on Friday but to the best of my knowledge I don't have them yet and can't trade (if I wanted to) until after the Admission date which I believe is 08:00 tomorrow. Others with more knowledge and experience may know different but this is my understanding.
3300 how do you know the new shares are in circulation?
“It is expected that Admission will become effective on or before 8.00 a.m. on 30 June 2020”
The way the RNS reads they could of course be in circulation now but I need to know! Lol
DIMI
I take it you are in a better place today
Couple of big buys went through at above the ask. Bodes well IMHO.
Looks like it’s breaking out some now with some chunky buys going through. GL everyone
<3 thanks
These were 80p+ a couple of weeks ago?
Are the placing shares available to trade now? Or are they still awaiting issue? (Or do you mean those that got in ~50p via non-placed shares)?
Trying to establish whether to buy now in the 50's or wait until the new issue shares are live (if not today, would be tomorrow now as they were due by 8am on the 30th?)
Thanks
First pinch point 55... shares up 10% from placing, so small hurdle I can imagine as to whether short term traders want to take their coins now or hold out for pounds later.
Looking forward to mid day vol update!
It's going to breakout :-)
AML loves a Monday
Music to trade too...
