I meant an update of works on the as yet non-producing areas as well.
Hope to see you shortly!
Yes, that is the current amount able to be transported via pipeline which shows AMER is using less than half of the pipeline potential on the current pumps.
9-18,000 bopd
CYB, there are only two fields so not difficult to calculate. AGM presentation likely to be released 9.30-11am.
Production up, OBA thruput increasing. Decent update regardless of the timing. I’m sure SOL-1 was worthy of its own RNS but bundled up to soften the blow that the BoDs fully deserve.
Not bad news but I do think this is more about saving his skin. 6500 production is good news but he's followed it by iterating overall production to be maintained from 5000-6000 for fy19, so no change there.
Good to hear third parties are going to be using the pipeline imminently. This could be the deal breaker for the company in years to come, providing a steady income. It will literally be a trickle to start with, with the pipeline able to carry between 9mbbl -18mbbl per day. This could be improved in time by upgrading the pumps and then allowing 50-70mbbl per day.
Currently there is a total of around 30mbbl/d being produced in the Putumayo region.
Chart wise, AMER is still in a downward movement, riding what was previously the top of the downward rend channel. Stoch has moved into over sold while RSI could still go lower.

Position: While I do think the sp will drop lower and buying at 10p could well be a possibility, I think buying at this price will return good rewards in time. Worth a buy but hold some back for potentially lower price which may or may not come.
No round up on each field. No full seismic or drill update.
Could’ve been written by a 12 year old. Must try harder.
See some of you shortly: I’ll be asking for specific numbers on the votes. Please back me up!
Decent operational update.
Spud news plus production.
Not surprising that it’s all good news today! Hopefully will start turn around. I’m not going to the AGM as I have to work!
Updates from attendees would be much appreciated
Thanks

Medium and longer term, OXy Col assets offer to balance the Shale portfolio output with high margin medium to heavier Oil, so as to offer a more diverse Oil stock portfolio when Shale light Oil gets deeply discounted I'll stop now before the black cloud descends. All the deal making has been left to JW, either by being a power manic or lack of other ability within the BOD. This business plan COLEXIT impasse needs to change and then with the right balance of People this will go forward. I can't reiterate how sad the loss of Dana C is - that guy was making progress and can he be replaced or only via a rakeover? I mean takeover? - I'll shut up now and let commercial evolution take its course.
Thx, really appreciate the effort and review, always sets at a high standard.
GLA JTD keep it up, you are the light for a very long, dark, fecked up tunnel.
just saying.
POO will remain strong for the foreseeable as there is structural and growing geopolitical supply risk - turmoil in Libya and Venezuela + possible disruption to seaborne evacuation from Persian Gulf through Hormuz bottleneck. ME is a more unstable than at any time since 2nd Gulf War.
Iranian Mullahs know stoking a high POO would give Trump more than a political headache and would rock Western economies. More a question of where, when and how Iran choose to retaliate. Not if.
give them hell pls. been a shower here for sometime. clear lack of SH interest - and total lack of updates and key detail to allow this to fly.
if you see Malcy knocking about tell him to put a sock in it.
speculatively pessamistic, not cautiously optomistic.
Some large trades going into the close on Friday. Not the usual AT's just before the bell. Maybe a bit premature but has the transfer of shares finished and our seller done? Be interesting to see if they 'kick in' again if volume picks up.
lol - brilliant! thank you, stukeyblue.
never noticed it before, either.
(shame emoticon).
Having been on this board for some 6 years, I only discovered the “financial diary” button at the top in the last couple of weeks.
thank you, sir.
Tomorrow 14th
AGM today? / wed?
The fact that oxy are selling down assets in other areas but investing in Colombia has to be a good thing imo.
Please keep up the posts here. Do you have an interest in any other companies?
R u coming to the agm?
Hope so.
I can't imagine any investor on AIM or any other market that wouldn't want the great man having and interest in any venture in which they are a shareholder.
He's not quite investing in Amer or likely ever even heard of us but it looks like he will have an interest in some of our blocks via an investment in Occidental.
Apparently WB is investing $10bn in Occidental in order to buy Anadarko so they become the biggest shale operator in the Permian basin - they also get more Colombian assets.
On a serious note Occidental will sell Assets (in the Gulf of Mexico ) and Africa following the merger so it will interesting to see what they do with Colombia onshore where they have a longstanding presence and a Government making positive noises about Fracking - I doubt they will want to exit without finding out what is in our blocks - the cost is peanuts to them and they would have to pay massive compensation to exit (as Shell did with MATD). Would actually be great for Amer if they walked away as we are still the operator.
Apparently the Occidental boss has upset many major shareholders (big hitters) and put out the nose of super-giant Chevron, refusing to give up and signing up WB so she, Vicki Hollub, didn't need to get shareholder approval to do a deal.
Apparently she is an impressive boss and it looks like she gets what she wants (already agreed to sell Anadarko's African assets for $8bn. These are big money players and if Amerisur ever becomes a target or simply get in the way we could be swallowed in a heartbeat - after all they must have seen something worth investing in wrt our blocks. The Wall Street Journal also suggests Occidental itself could now become a takeover target with weakened finances.
Interesting concept. as GC and his buddies have maintained financial strength at Amerisur - perhaps to stave off an takeover possibility, and in turn apparently upsetting Miochinoko, they backed the BoD in the capital raise at 25p to fund growth and that money has was simply stashed with associated negative SP action - I'd be *issed off too now the BoD are awarding cheap share options. It's a *iss take in my humble opinion.
