Took out most of the stock on the offer at the lower level.
Very light on the sell side. Just need a bit of volume
Looking good again today and hopefully Christmas figures will support that. Yes agree on the FX. Maybe it's all coming together and we will see a re-rating in 2020
Share price here is dependent on current exchange rates. When GB/USD was circa 1.5, the business was in profit. Post leave EU vote, exchange rates hit lows of 1.2. With certainty back, current exchange rates are expected to track back to somewhere close to 1.5 again. In short this means that the overseas stock ALY will buy will be circa 25% cheaper, swinging the business back into profitability. Very strong buy for me here. I think we will see some big jumps on news.
Well if they deliver this price is history;
China deal
Franchises
Urban Outfitters
It's looking better.
Hopefuly they sell, even if they do have some nice products the supply chain, customer service and old fashioned business model have let them down. I don't see any appetite from them to shake things up.
Not seen much activity in ALY for a while so one to definitely monitor. If you think that Thomas Cook sold the name for £11M what would Laura Ashley be worth I wonder.
Are we about to see some activity here.

was considering buying 4K worth of furniture until I read reviews -26% of reviews poor or bad - customer relations ,product quality and delivery 6horrendous - no wonder the sp is what it is - suggest you read if you value your money. I have never invested in ALY.
?why
Time2sell. Since your last post this share lost nearly 50 percent so 1 give you one more chance to call it right next time
Continuing to push higher. A little more volume could make this quite interesting
Interesting that this has a £233M turnover and currently valued at £15M. If it turns itself around could be some nice gains to be had.
Yes also watching. The diversification and new management can hopefully turn this around. If they succeed then the price will be multiples of it's current value.
a bit of nibling going on here (if i was a fisherman, I would be watching my float intensely)

AGM tomorrow, could be interesting.
Looking far better than it has been.
Hit with the high street rut. Company is;
Diversifying
Expanding in China
Revamping the tired Management
Little debt and could actually do quite well.
I thought floral was back in vogue this year and LA were on the come back trail?
THIS COMPANY has trashed this share use to trade this in its 20/s and so did people for the divi , SHAMBLES what happened here
Copy of a post from ADVFN;
The work they have done on the debt, a £13m Market cap, the brand heritage - seems worth having a bit of skin in it at these levels. It may well go lower. It may fail altogether. But I reckon on a patient longer term view its worth my while to snuffle away some
Looking for some shoots
Not very encouraging for those looking to invest.
Price going down, staying flat. Hows does that work?
