Audrey Hepburn, bonny, charismatic girl. I've seen Roman Holiday about 10 times... I've not been following this for a while so I wouldn't like to hazard a guess on the SP.
Sorry I couldn't oblige - (older) people say I look like Audrey Hepburn - anyway, Mr. Buffett is rather (too) old and he thinks so too. Do you think this sp will go over £1.20 by year end?
Traders $odding about in my opinion. Last week when the price jumped up I got a strong waft of this investor's favourite aroma: burning bear. They'll be wanting their ever so hard earned money back.
Any good reason?
I sold a month or so ago meaning to buy back sub 80p and wait for the rise back to 93p resistance. But I bought into another share in the meantime...I won't ramp it here ;-) and missed the recovery... (real reason for selling, disappointment that the nudey photos never materialized...)
Analysts said the apparent recovery in handset testing, a business beset by contract delays earlier in the year, was likely to result in improved sales for the second half of the year and beyond. The multi-billion-dollar rollout of long-term evolution (LTE) 4G networks in China has helped to boost revenues for telecoms testing companies, such as Spirent Communications Plc. Anite said growth in its handset division during the quarter ended April 30 was helped by "the first significant benefits" from investments in 4G technology made over the last few years. "LTE, customers re-engaging and other technology milestones all helped to deliver the material fourth-quarter uplift required after the poor first half of 2014," Investec analyst Julian Yates wrote in a note. Fleet, Hampshire-based Anite said all three of its main businesses - handset testing, network testing and the supply of software to the travel industry - performed well in the fourth quarter.
Times yesterday says BUY!
They had another good write-up in the Times today, with a recommendation to Buy....
Hi hoping confidence begins the upward trajectory as suggested in the RNS .....good article in Reuters today .... http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/05/12/anite-sale-idUKL3N0NY3AZ20140512
LOL! Don't think the 'serious investors' post on here - at least not the ones who think they know what they're talking about :) Hope she continues to thrive as my break even point is £1.13. Mr. Buffet is also feeling quite chipper at the moment so hopefully it's not a lost cause.
Still here! I must say I've been refraining from sharing Trick C's progress with the group recently as some of the more serious high-finance bods must obviously find it all rather frivolous. However, she's actually been rather chipper all through the recent depression in the AIE SP which leads me to think that: a) there is no relationship between her health and the SP after all, or b) there is a correlation and she's had an undiagnosed underlying condition that has not as yet manifested itself in outward symptoms and that I really should be taking her to the vet for bloods and an MRI scan etc. I think it's b) and today's upturn may indicate whatever malady it was is clearing up. Phew. Best keep an eye on it though.
Now we know why PG jumped the gun with a broker statement must have know good news was coming today. The news that sales are recovering in the second half as per hope expressed at half year stage and also that the first half year for the year we are in looks good bodes well for the SP. The jump today means we have already reached the reiterated expected SP of two brokers with the target price of two more still ahead at 100p up. The best news in this is the increase in positive cash flow - for me when all is said and done it is cash flow that determines where a company is going over the medium/long term
You still in here? What's happening with the Dog? :)
Early indications are we're heading North.
Which way might the share price travel? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/10822429/Anite-in-travel-sale-talks-with-Lloyds.html
PG simply advising you to buy........again
There is going to be a statement released early next week , or shortly after which will give us an update....Should be positive according to shares magazine etc
I wonder why we have a broker restatement today, ( looks like a house broker) with expected update due soon? it seems a little premature but it has moved the Sp upwards a little - but not enough yet to get me to break even on my average.
Good article in shares mag last week......An acceleration in 4G investment holds out the prospect of a strong year end for Anite Handsets and network testing business. With a positive tear end trading statement , expected inside the next 7 days, could prompt a recovery.... With the shares at an all time year low, I think we could see this above £1 in the next few weeks
under the circumstances
I agree with WarOnBuffet on this... time will tell.
some big contracts since December, so I doubt that scenario.
its an educated guess; I am familiar with their business & have been following the stock form sometime..I sold out in Dec but soon will be buying back ...
It that fact or opinion?
Just Like FTC, I think its is suffering from delayed orders, so a profit warning is due soon; similar to the one in Dec.
