I’d forgotten AB stated this -
The productisation of AFC Energy's fuel cell system is now well underway. Delivery of the first hydrogen fueled EV charger for deployment across the UK later this year, to be followed by modular stationary off grid power systems, highlights the corner AFC Energy has now turned in taking its hydrogen power units to market.
Remind me when he said that, Daz?
There has been no buying of shares by the board/directors unless I have missed it, I wonder why? If we really are near to commercialization would this not be the case?
You have not missed it RiskyB. The only share dealing noted has been selling by Eugene Shvidler.
Because being commercial doesn’t guarantee financial success, there are still plenty of risks, especially around the Thalion finance deal. Suppose the EV roadshow is a flop, where will that leave the share price? What if that is followed by a draw down ? If the price drops below 2p it’s game over, so there’s still a lot of work to do.
No director buying possibly, because they may have large contracts waiting to be signed once the warranty is secured.
Gawd its like the Eeyore fanclub here sometimes
Another week gone with not a peep from AFC. It's getting close to the wire.
And still nothing from Rennocks. What a surprise.
Fingers crossed for an sp-supporting RNS soon........
This passage comes from the December 2017 newsletter:
"In early October 2017, AFC Energy was invited to attend and present at the De Nora Chlorine / Chlorate Seminar in Cleveland, USA. This bi-annual event organised by De Nora for their customers in the chlor alkali sector, was attended by over 150 people representing approx. 50 chlor alkali operations internationally."
If the event is bi-annual there must be one this month. I wonder if AFC has again been invited, and if not why not. Has anyone heard anything?
You are obviously not a gardener Athansius. Something occurring every two years is biennial. This would be the third meeting since, but the point remains the same. Have not heard a thing. I suspect we need to await a warranty. I wonder if they were expecting to reach that stage earlier?
We should be getting a financial report very soon?
End of the month. Last year we got a detailed report in mid November.
Bumble B, where are you seeing a detailed report in mid November last year please?
I am sure you are right, but I cant find this anywhere.
Richlist ... Is this what you are looking for ? https://www.afcenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/AFC-final-accounts-2018.pdf
Thanks for help Klunk, but not those, they don't come out until March/April, so are not published in November.
richlist, what I was referring to is that after the end of the last reporting year, in October 2019, AFC released an RNS summarising progress to that date, around 15 or 16 November 2018. I felt at the time, possibly incorrectly, that was deigned to bring us that information more rapidly than waiting until the end of March, just before the AGM as they were no longer providing Quarterly Reports.
If we go into a quiet period, I can see such a release might be one way for the company to signal why they would not organise an autumn investors meeting, as well as updating us on what had happened in the past 12 months more rapidly. But that is my speculation only.
October 2018
If we go into a quiet period ?
LOL !
